Ranemaker says "Sorry I bought the HP Pavillion Entertainment PC" about Hewlett Packard HP Pavilion Entertainment PC

This is my first laptop and I did as much homework as I could before buying. I should have done my homework on customer care as well. Less than 5 months after buying it I had to send my new laptop to HP for repair. They repaired the wrong thing (soundboard) and wanted to charge me $600.00 even after admitting it was not fixed. Luckily I had an extended warranty through the store I bought it from and they ended up finding the problem (motherboard) and fixing. (HP had my computer for almost 3 weeks without fixing and store fixed in one week.) HP might pride itself on customer service but they are terrible. The Pavilion does not have enough oomph for a lot of gaming and since Vista is a resource hog it really slows down my laptop unless I turn off the aero windows feature. And that's after doubling the memory. I am buying another laptop for my husband and you can bet it will not be an HP....

Ranemaker says "My favorite phone" about Blackberry - RIM Curve 8320 Cell Phone

I have a had many phones before this but was looking for something to keep me organized and a phone I could customize to suit my needs. This really fits the bill. The Blackberry Curve is the best phone I have ever had. I have no interest in getting the I Phone now. I email from my phone, am able to include pics, set timers, mark calendar, listen to music, watch video and play games. I have a lot of electronic gadgets but with this phone there is no need for them. You can increase memory with a card and can save tons of pics, video and music. the camera takes surprisingly good pics and includes a flash. There are some great websites out there too with useful free apps to go with your Blackberry. If I ever upgrade it will be for another Blackberry. Just be sure you have an unlimited data plan to take advantage of all the uses for this phone....
