BlueCrewGuyInMA says "Light shovel with a big appetite" about Craftsman 20 in. Combo Shovel

I purchased this shovel last winter (December 2008) because one of our old ones had been stolen. What a great replacement!

The D handle is big enough for a gloved hand to easily fit, but with a rubberized grip for extra control. The shaft has a cushioned collar to eliminate the ice-cold shaft freezing your hands. The shaft itself is crafted of lightweight aluminum, and the blade is a lightweight transparent polycarbonate, which combine to reduce the weight of the shovel and make shoveling easier. After all, the snow is heavy enough! It also has a pretty durable ice-breaking blade on the edge, which came in handy when breaking apart sheets of compacted snow from the driveway.

Rumor has it there's a new ergonomic version of this shovel coming out. The traditional straight shaft is the only thing keeping this shovel from 5 stars. This basic design is functional but not as comfortable to use. However, it's still worthwhile for anyone looking to lighten their shoveling load. And, of course,...
...

shc-zach says "If your child loves golf, then he/she will love these clubs!" about Toys R Us Stats Golf Starter Set

The *************** Golf Starter Set shouldn't be called a "starter set," because if you want something for a 1-3 year old, then you should go for the Little Tikes TotSports Drive and Putt Golf Set.

This set, however, is the perfect 2nd set for your child, as they have more weight and feel more like real golf clubs. The Little Tikes clubs are plastic, these are stainless steel. (Warning: it feels a lot worse when your child hits you with the steel clubs vs. the plastic ones.)

As a second set, these clubs will really encourage hand/eye coordination and will help your child develop a swing. I highly recommend them.
...

shc-zach says "The perfect clubs to turn your child into the next Tiger Woods!" about Little Tikes TotSports Drive & Putt Golf Set

Okay, if there is one sports toy that my son LOVES, it is the Little Tikes TotSports Drive & Putt Golf Set. (Not only does he love to play with these clubs, but he also loves to sleep with them.)

The product includes two golf clubs (a putter and a driver) and also three balls and a "hole." At first, all my son enjoyed doing was driving the ball, but after a few months, he is now putting too. Honestly, this set or the Little Tikes Drive, Chip and Putt Golf Trainer are the perfect sets for children up to two years old. (Once your child outgrows this set, let me recommend the "Stats Golf Starter Set" which I believe is a ********** exclusive.)

This set is perfect for teaching your child hand/eye coordination. I can't say enough about these clubs, except make sure that parents and pets are out of the way of a swinging child. Enjoy!
...

shc-zach says "Durable T-ball set, but why isn't it adjustable?" about Little Tikes TotSports T-Ball Set

My parents bought my son (their grandson) the Little Tikes TotSports T-Ball Set for his first exposure to T-Ball / Baseball.

He immediately enjoyed it (see attached picture), but my one small complaint is that it should be adjustable, like other Little Tikes products (i.e. Little Tikes TotSports Basketball Set). It's not a deal-breaker, but that would make it a five-star product.

It is durable, great value for price and a perfect first T-Ball set for kids! Yet another solid Little Tikes product. Our family loves them.
...
