      <description>&lt;p&gt;We bought two of these about a week apart in early August.&#160; One went in my garage and the other in the mother-in-law's house.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you're looking for something cheap that blows cold air and is reasonably quiet and efficient, then you'll be happy.&#160; For anything beyond that though, exercise caution and understand that you're getting (maybe) what you pay for.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;First and foremost, these are made in China; they are cheap and they show it.&#160; They were not well boxed and both (from two different Sears locations) had dents and distortion in the outer cases.&#160; The grilles don't fit well and don't want to stay on, and the access door for the filter doesn't like to stay shut.&#160; As someone else mentioned the side curtains are a bear to install due to sloppy machining and lack of clearance to get to the screws.&#160; And, the holes in the bottom of the frame for the external supports that go beneath it on the windowsill are drilled such that they're pretty much useless.&#160; They did not line up with anything...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
