biloxilion says "This 42cc, 18" chainsaw has plenty of power for most jobs" about Craftsman 18 in. Gas Chainsaw, 42cc

I had to clean some property of a lot of overgrowth and trees. I shopped four local stores that sell Chainsaws and ended up with the Sears 42cc. First, it was the most economical of the comparable units I priced. Second, it was a larger engine than all but one of the other units.

The first saw I bought, I had to return because when I started it for the first time, It would not stay running unless I kept the trigger squized. Also, chain oil seemed to drip all over when I would set it down, After a couple of uses, the chain would kick off. This went on for about half an hour when suddenly, the clutch snapped. I took it back to my Sears store and told them what happened. With no further questions, they exchanged it.

I took the second saw back to the property and it was near perfect. Most chainsaw blades will come loose the first half dozen uses and this was no different. After it seemed to "seat in" I had no further problems. It did just what it was supposed to do and...
...

biloxilion says "42cc - 18 inch chain saw does a good job, especially at the cost" about Craftsman 42cc 18&#34 Gas Chain Saw

If you find my Pro's and Con's confusing, it won't be after you read this.

This could be a 4 star saw but there were some minor problems. The first saw I bought didn't last 2 hours. I had to adjust the chain over a dozen times. I spent more time taking the bar off and resetting the chain than I did cutting. When I wasn't adjusting the chain, I was trying to keep it running. It would not idle properly. Then, the last time it was used, the clutch broke and the chain would not move so I took it back to the store and exchanged it for another one.

Now, the second one is great! Did the normal chain adjust a few times being new until it settled in. I cut several small 6-10 inch diameter trees with no problem. If the first saw was this good, I would have given it a 4 star rating. It has a generous gas tank and chain oil resavoir. This one would idle between trees with no problem. It doesn't compare to a professional grade saw but it does a great job for the money. I wouldn't...
...

biloxilion says "Hard working lawn tractor" about Craftsman LT-2000

I am in my 70's and don't want to walk behind a mower... even self propelled. I was at the Sears store and saw the small Craftsman, LT-2000 riding mower with a 42" deck and bought it. I have a fairly large lot, about 200x200 and this mower gets around my shrubs, house, etc with ease. The 42" deck and 17.5 hp Briggs engine make easy work of mowing now.

I have only had one small problem since I got it. I noticed it was not cutting evenly, with one side being lower. After looking further, I found a cotter pin had fallen out and the rod was not holding the deck in place. New cotter key, deck level.

I have another home in Alabama that has about 6 acres, all landscaped. I took this mower up there and it did the job but did seem a little strained as it took about 4 hours. I used the mower for a year up there and this year bought a new mower just to leave there. The new one is a 54" deck yard tractor. I will give a review on that one later.

All said an done, I am very pleased...
...

biloxilion says "Incredibly quiet and cleans terrifically" about Kenmore 13863 Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher

After 3 years of a FEMA trailer, we were finally able to get into our rebuilt house. When we started looking at appliances, we found a huge number of sources and decided on Sears Kenmore Elite. The Kenmore 13863 Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher is everything we were looking for in a dishwasher. We wanted quiet, good versatile cleaning and easy to operate.

We did not want to first rinse the dishes... isn't that redundant? We wanted to be able to do delicate items as well as a well baked spaghetti pot. This one does it all, and does it very well. Sometimes I have to look and see if any lights are on to know if it is operating or not... it is that quiet. For the money, we feel we did better than any other unit. ...

biloxilion says "Wonderful flight and big savings on Allegiant Air" about Allegiant Air

I never heard of this airline until I had to fly to Orlando one-way. I found this airline on one of the travel sites and had to check it out. $29.00 to Orlando!!! Well, not quite... everything is carte blanch. Be sure to read the FAQ section on the airline site. I found it saved about $10 to go to the local airport and book my tickets. I prepaid for checking a bag and did not prepay for seat location. The agent told me if I got to the airport 2 hours early I would have no problem getting adjoining seats. All in all, $94.00 for two people and I thought that was a steal.

When I checked ticket counter times on the internet, they said 3-5pm but when I got to the airport at 3:10, the counter was closed. I asked at another counter if they were going to open and found out they were open from 1-3pm! They told me to wait a minute and lo, an agent came from behind the door and took care of me. He appologized for the time change but the web site had not been updated.

When we got...
...

biloxilion says "An Eddie Bauer and WOW! All this comfort and space" about Ford Expedition - 2004

I was run off the Interstate in my Jeep and it was totaled. (I did escape unhurt) I needed another SUV as I tow a 5x10 trailer 250 miles each way at least once a month. I wanted safety first and then comfort. I knew mileage would be bad but so was the Jeep. It had served us well and had 117,000 miles on it and was a 1997. Why didn’t I get another Jeep? I wanted something bigger.

I read a lot of articles on the Expedition as well as the Suburban, Toyota Sierra, Tahoe, all the large SUV’s and decided the Eddie Bauer Expedition was what I wanted to find. As this is not the primary vehicle, we chose to buy one used 3 to 4 years old. I really wanted the 2005 but could never find one I liked. This 2004 is loaded! About all I don't have is 4-wheel drive (which I didn't want), and Navigation (which was not important as I have a portable GPS), I have triplet grandsons, 9 yr old and we like to take them a lot of places. With the Video and audio controls in the rear seat...
...

biloxilion says "Samsung Blackjack is a great phone with many features" about Samsung BlackJack Smartphone

The Blackjack I is a great phone with many features. It has a learning curve that requires reading the manual if you really want to get the most out of it. I don't do texting, download songs, use the internet on it, etc. but I do use the calendar, calculator, camera and more. I had two problems when I got my phone. 1. it was not Vista compatable and 2. I didn't like the numeric keypad as there is a space between the numbers. The Blackjack II eliminates this problem.

Since I use both Vista and XP, I had to keep mine with Outlook sync and not use it with Vista. This has not been a problem but if you only had one computer OS, and it was Vista you would need to upgrade.

I also like the idea that it is Windows compatable.
...
