The Maya wrap lets you hold your baby from newborn to toddlerhood safely and easily. It allows for a natural carrying position that is comfy for mom and baby and holds baby without pressure points on their hips or back. Skip the Bjorns and go with a real sling!
...

I love the Evenflo Snugli Classic Soft Carrier! I have used it for my son as well as for my daughter. Especially going to the grocery store, this has been a life-saver! Both of my kids always feel asleep in it when they were really little, and later on, they would enjoy being turned facing out. Great buy!
...

Of my 3 carriers, I like this one best. Although I find it cumbersome to put on, once on, it's comfortable, adjustable, and sturdy. It has criss corssing straps in the back that can be adjusted to fit the preferences of the wearer. I also find it doesn't place the center of the weight in one place leaving you a kinked back. It displaces the weight well like an expensive backpack. Nice carrier.
...

I have 3 different infant carriers and find this one to be the easiest to use. It's light weight and takes up almost no space in my vehicle. I like the small profile of it. I have fear issues about slings and carriers that cover the baby's face. I worry about suffocation. This carrier leaves the baby's head exposed which makes me feel more comfortable using it. Baby can ride facing in or out.

This item is modestly priced and has been well used in our household.
...

This is one of those products...GREAT idea, poor follow through. I'm not sure if it's because of the straps or the design (could be both) but this carrier just KILLS my shoulders. Yes, my back doens't hurt, but my shoulders are so achy that I dont' want to carry my baby after only an hour!!

I'd rather turn to my Beco for baby carries...at least that product doens't give me back OR shoulder pain.
...

DawnTanaka says "A MUST HAVE for every parent!" about Beco Baby Carrier

This carrier is definitely a must have for every parent! ... It uses snap buckles, so it's a breeze to put in and rolls down small when not in use! I found it to be less bulky and just as comfortable (if not more so) as the Ergo. This is truly one of my favorite baby carriers. I have carried my children on the front, back, and hip all without backaches or sore arms and shoulders.

One drawback is that it will take a while to figure out how to do hip and back carries...practice, practice practice!! Front carriers are very simple and you should be able to achieve front carries by the first few hours after you purchase it. :)

LOVE it!!! One other thing.....I have a 30 lb toddler that I occassionally carry..the beco is the carrier that I always turn to first! :)
...

Oh my gosh! This is LITERALLY the one item I would have never given up when my dauhter was little (from 2 weeks until about 7 or 8 months). She had to be bounced constantly, and this was the only way I could get anything done. She would stay in it for hours, while I ate lunch, folded clothes, etc... I do agree that after a while, it does hurt, but so would carrying a baby after a while. The "pain" wasn't so bad at all and 100% worth it to be able to have my hands free. I am 5 feet, 3 inches and weigh 109 pounds, and I don't think it hurt that much at all. Honestly, I kept my daughter (who was in the 90th weight percentile) in this for LONG stretches. Totally worth it. And, my identical twin sister has a 2 month old and swears by the Baby Bjorn as well. GET ONE.
...

The Beco carrier is a must for getting things done around the house. Cooking, cleaning, etc...it's all so much easier when you have your little one right there with you. It is by far the most comfortable carrier I've tried. It's a little expensive, but well worth the investment. It's very handy for using while you're out and about. Grocery shopping, places without carts...it's awesome! Even walking if you don't want to drag the stroller out. It's great!
...

alabamacutie24 says "Not for new babies" about Infantino Sling Rider

I recently bought the Slingrider for my daughter. She likes to be held constantly. So I figured this would help me hold her close and get my house work done. WRONG!!! She is 6 weeks old and too small for the sling. She got lost in it. The picture on the box shows the mother looking at her baby while it's in the sling. I couldn't see my baby. And she hated it. The sides of the sling (which are mesh and suppose to be breathable) we smothering her. Maybe for an older baby this would work. I don't recommend it. And if you are still considering it. try it on first....

I purchased this item and was unable to use it because a clasp did not work. It did not lock. Be sure to try all the clasps on this product before putting your baby in it. It took almost a month to get a replacement and I was given a cheaper carrier model, not the Eurorider. In general my husband and I were disappointed with several Infantino products that we purchased.
...
