We had to replace the swing three times. The third the motor went out again had a new one sent to us and again went out with the replacement motor all in a 6 month time period. We now have a different swing and would not wish this swing on anyone even if you could get it for free.

My husband and I bought the My Little Lamb Cradle Swing, and we absolutely love it. The seat cover is in the shape of a lamb which is adorable, and seems to be comfy to baby as well; the seat is also able to be shifted either frontward, or to either side. Atop the swing are the options to turn on the VERY CUTE mobile of lambs, to turn on one of four sound options and different speeds to the swing itself. The swing is relatively quiet when it's swinging, but there is a certain tick that you'll hear that gradually blends into the background. Easy to assemble, easy to operate, awesome for a swinging baby :)

If only I had known about this sooner. Unfortunately, my daughter wasn't introduced to this until she was 6 months old... I have a feeling that she would have gotten a ton more play time out of this had I started her in this sooner. She just loves to jump and this totally gives her the enjoyment she needs and the exhaustion that follows gives me the time I need (when she is sleeping because of it!). My daughter is now 7 months old and still getting daily use out of this. We already had to raise it to the last level (3)....I wished there was another level..I'm going to miss this when she grows out of it. Love the fact, it is extremely easy to take apart and travel with (only three pieces). Love the fact the music is optional when in use....

Baby swings is a must for babies who cry alot or are colicky. This really saved us and at times was the only thing that would calm him. Even for naps or when your arms need a break. I would put extra blankets on the bottom for added comfort. Also use a large exercise ball and bounce the baby over your shoulder if the swinging doesnt work. Bring the swing to a resturant to !...

I love the fact that you can change the direction in which it swings. My baby doesn't like it going side to side, he will start crying if we put him in it and turn it on while in that direction. However, he loves the front to back motion of it. On other review sites I have seen people complain about the motor in it being loud. It is, but to me it sounds like a heart beat once it really starts going. It hasn't bothered my baby from what I can tell at all, and it certainly doesn't bother me. It runs off of batteries only. It may be convenient to have a swing with a plug, but honestly, I don't find it necessary. It doesn't drain the batteries quickly either. The one down-side to it is that if you are putting a newborn in it, he or she may be a little small for it, thus the head rest may not go down far enough to fit under your baby's head the way you would like it to. None the less, I love this swing.

This swing is wonderful! Sturdy, safe, entertaining and cozy for my son! However, you will need lots of batteries! I only wish it came as a plug in instead of battery opperated.

I love this swing because my son smiles when we put him in and usually goes right to sleep. Gives me time to do focus on other things and is one of my favorite baby shower gifts Only downside is that it is a bit large.

This is a great swing! Our son LOVED IT! We put him in it as soon as we came home from the hospital and he spent a lot of time in it for his first 4 months or so. There are some cons to the swing that I would like ot point out:

1. You have to be careful on how you pick the baby up out of it. There is no way to avoid the part that hangs over the baby.

2. There is no way to have your child sitting upright and swing in this one. Once my son was 4 months he wanted to watch what was going on, this swing kept him too reclined so at 4 months he no longer wanted to spend time in it.

3. The light and the music only play for about 20 minutes. This was a pain during nights when he didn't want to sleep in his bassinet and he would be just about out and the music and light would stop and it would wake him up immediately.

4. The description says that it uses batteries.. it does not. And the power supply is a royal PAIN to hook up!! So you might not want to move it too often! It would sometimes...

We bought this swing for our second child. I had a three year old and a new born. This being my second child, I didn't have the time to just sit and hold my baby like I did with my first one. He loved it so much and was very content with swinging and watching the fish. He didn't like sleeping in his crib and sleeping in my arms all night wasn't an option, so we tried using the swing. It worked and he slept in it for about the first three months. This baby swing saved my life and made the transition from mommy of one to mommy of two that much easier!

We bought a swing set for the kids, but needed something for the little one. So we got this Little Tikes High Back Toddler Swing. It was real easy to add on to the set. Just unhooked the regular swing and hooked this one up. All the hardware is included, It took like 5 minutes.

I love the papasan swing, it is perfect for an infant. NO worries about the baby falling forward at all with this swing. It works like a charm as long as your baby loves swings. My son loved the swing, my daughter did not like swings.

A little pricey but worth its weight in gold and sanity for the mommys out there.
