For winter I had previously ordered the Carhartt 3-in-1 Parka which is a waterproof and breathable shell with a quilted insulated vest inside... but when I received it noted that the arms had no insulation at all! So at best a good Fall jacket.

Returned the 3-in-1 Parka and ordered the insulated waterproof breathable (J175) jacket and it's awesome - well insulated for winter and also waterproof and I dont get all hot inside the jacket either. The material seems to withstand as I would expect from Carharrt as well.

Looking for a winter jacket from Carharrt that's waterproof and breathable? The J175.

Looking for Fall/Late-Fall jacket with the same waterproof and breathability? Go for the [more expensive unfortunately] 3-in-1 Parka.

I have a lot of Carhartt clothing... even though my occupation is not that of typical 'workwear'. Carharrt just makes quality goods...

This is my first Carhartt jacket and I was concerned at first that it's only their 8.5oz canvas and not the 12oz duck that their pants are made of... but when I received the shipment I was very happy with what I had purchased. Frankly the weight of the fabric is great - quality without being too stiff. Also the jacket is lined, so I am sure I can wear this now and through late Fall.

I was in desperate need of a new winter coat as my previous one had seen better days! I was sort of stuck in an outdated style and it was more stlylish then warm! I had purchased a coat that was warm but didn't like the side pockets because they had zippers that would get stuck and they scratched my hands up. I found the 3-in-1 NordicTrack jacket and I love it! It is extremely warm, has a removeable hood, 4 velcro front pockets and lower side pockets! The bonus is the inside lining zips out and becomes a stylish light-weight black wind breaker! The outer coat is stll warm even without the liner. I have machine washed/dried them both and they came out great!...

I came in looking for a jacket for my husband that I saw in a Sear's Ad. Did not care for it when I found it in the store. Continuing to shop I came across a Jacket by Covington. The microsuede material is soft, and very good looking. This jacket can be worn with jeans for the dressy casual look or dressed up with a shirt, tie, and dress slacks.

I ended up purchasing two; one for my husband another for my son. This is a warm jacket with some weight to it but not so heavy as to be uncomfortable to wear.
