I believe there is a school for everyone. I am a highly motivated self-starter and UoP/Axia College was certainly not for me. The bulk of your class scores are based on your replies to the posts of other students. When a school has an open enrollment policy it means you will be in class with a lot of people who just got their GED. I found that each of my classes there were typically two people beside me who really put thought and effort into their posts. So there were three of us who weren't copying answers from the text. That meant the three of us would basically carrying on conversations by ourselves in the posts. For me, I found Western Governors University (WGU) to be a better choice. WGU has a two-term academic year with flat fee tuition. I basically pay $3,000 for a six-month term. During that term I can complete as many courses as I want/am able. More importantly for me, I am learning at my own pace on my terms. I have a mentor who is assigned to me for my duration at WGU. In addition......

I have mixed feelings about this subject. I do believe that parents or people in charge of students must be very dedicated and willing to work daily in the preparation of material and student to be succesful. Many times I see people that start homeschooling children. After a while, they give up...and children waste their time and are back to school and have to make up wasted time....

Very bad university. If you are looking for a university which truly cares about their students and does not look at their student body as just a revenue source, then this is not the place. They throw you into a pool of other students without giving a proper education. Everything is up to the student. I was forced to stay in a triple dorm my first year. Thank goodness I transferred out after my second semester.

I spoke with a counselor yesterday evening from Grand Canyon University named Tara. She was very nice and not pushy like some on-line schools I have inquired. I explained my situation and she responded promptly by sending me all the information I needed to get my career in the upswing. I am a single mother of a 9 year old and going back to school poses not only a financial burden but a juggling act to work, take care of my son, and go to school. This on-line program would be perfect for me. I was also concerned about the cost and this school has lower costing programs and scholarships which I checked most online schools do not offer. I checked the same program at the school I would attend at my local University and it was significantly lower. In addition I would cut costs on the commute.

Well, I want to enter this kind of school out of Practicality. if I will be based near this college, I will definitely enroll an study. I find this school relaxing and innovative. That'a what it takes for me to enter a school. The ambiance and the function. Both should take place at the same time.

Students from this College didn't waste their money. Entering this kind of school will definitely help a person's development.

I must put in an outstanding review for Park University, especially if you are or have been in the military, police or similiar service to our nation. Park University has a program that turns your service into college credits and they are all over the United States and overseas. I attended the home campus and was awarded over 80 credits for that service, but I had also attended language school which helped tremendously on the credits.

It is located in Parkville, Missouri overlooking the Missouri River. It is a quaint suburb of Kansas City, Missouri with on campus housing or very close to apartments. The classes are relatively small compared to major universities which lends itself to helpful instruction from the professors. They are just wonderful in their assistance to students.

Being a private University, it is a tad more expensive than attending a State University. However, there are a myriad of opportunities for scholarships if you apply. There are so many scholarships...
