Very bad university. If you are looking for a university which truly cares about their students and does not look at their student body as just a revenue source, then this is not the place. They throw you into a pool of other students without giving a proper education. Everything is up to the student. I was forced to stay in a triple dorm my first year. Thank goodness I transferred out after my second semester.

I must put in an outstanding review for Park University, especially if you are or have been in the military, police or similiar service to our nation. Park University has a program that turns your service into college credits and they are all over the United States and overseas. I attended the home campus and was awarded over 80 credits for that service, but I had also attended language school which helped tremendously on the credits.

It is located in Parkville, Missouri overlooking the Missouri River. It is a quaint suburb of Kansas City, Missouri with on campus housing or very close to apartments. The classes are relatively small compared to major universities which lends itself to helpful instruction from the professors. They are just wonderful in their assistance to students.

Being a private University, it is a tad more expensive than attending a State University. However, there are a myriad of opportunities for scholarships if you apply. There are so many scholarships...

This is a great school that offers things to a variety of students. They have even teamed up with other schools with the University Center. Thanks to MCC's connection with Texas Tech you can get a four year degree with state rates. It is an amazing school.

MATC has an excellent teaching staff. They have classes to fit your schedule. I appreciate the accelerated classes and the online courses that they provide. You're still getting the same education, just in a manner in which best fits you. So whether it's Day, Evening, Accelerated, Weekend or Online or you can still make time to get an education. Also, for those who need tutoring you can be tutored by visiting one of the campuses, by phone or even online.

So, stop making excuses! There's a whole field of education just waiting for you and MATC has the resources for you to make it happen!

Illinois State University was the first public university in the state and has been the education leader ever since it's humble beginnings as a teacher's college in 1857. (Note that even the University of Illinois began essentiallty as ISU's extension campus in the 1860's.) ISU ranks first in the nation in accounting as evidenced by it's students scores on the CPA exam. It also ranks first in a variety of education programs, from elementary education through educational administration. The law and government department also rates as excellent.

The campus is beautiful, and bordered by an excellent dormitory system with several skyscrapers-yet in a relatively small town atmosphere nearby. Classes come in a variety of sizes to suit the students needs. There are large classes for those who work well independently, as well as small classes for those who need the extra attention. As a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work in 2004, I am proud to have attended this university more for the prestige than for the actual studying I did while attending. UofM is big on theory and research, yet small on teaching practical job-related skills. Add that to costing an arm and a leg (I will be paying off my loans for 21 years total), and to little productive interaction and career planning with my faculty advisor, have led me to be dissatisfied with my overall experience as a student at UofM.

In retrospect, I probably enrolled too quickly and should have taken some time off following undergraduate (at a different college), in which case I might have chosen to follow a different master's program altogether.

When people were suggesting Wayne State upon graduation from high school, I thought, "inner city, NO WAY". It is not at all what I expected. There is a very diverse student body and lots of resources. The have class availability to meet all needs. I am proud to say I'm a graduate....

Our son started his freshman year at IUPUI this August. He loves it. He was accepted into the engineering program. I've heard Purdue graduates say that they wish they would have attended IUPUI for their engineering program because the program is the very same that is implemented at Purdue but you get it for less money. The facilities at the school are great. The Natatorium offers unlimited swimming for $30.00 a semester.

The Student Center houses an excellent bookstore, conference rooms and the food court is really good, too. There is a Chic-Filet, a pizza place, a salad restaurant and more that I can't think of right now ... a wide variety. Most building are connected by covered walkways or underground tunnels. It's in the heart of downtown Indianapolis and an exciting place to be.

When our son graduates, he'll have a degree from Purdue without the cost if he were to go to West Lafayette to Purdue University. IUPUI has it own sports teams. They are the IUPUI Jaguars. ...

In my opinion, Western Michigan University is the definition of an underrated university. With its first-class programs in Aviation, Sales & Business Marketing, Engineering and the Arts, its is a research university that puts the focus on students "starting right and finishing strong." During my four years there, I was able to discover a thriving campus life full of hundreds of opportunities to become a leader and get involved. I also discovered that the surrounding community of Kalamazoo has a city look, but a wonderful small town feel. Even with its 25,000+ students, it is easy for anyone to full at home at WMU and in Kalamazoo, and I cannot express how much I would recommend the university to anyone looking to make the best out of their college experience. Great education. Great campus. Great community. It is the BEST and MOST AFFORDABLE public institution in the State of Michigan. Enough said. GO BRONCOS!

SXU (or St Xav's as it's commonly known) is quite a good school, I give it a 3.5 rating, but round it up to four because of the whole number scale. Overall, the academics and intramural sports are great, the campus scene is a bit quiet as the campus is a bit small. Yet, the overall learning experience is excellent, as it accomodates to students' diverse backgrounds with interdisciplinary courses and extracurricular activities in an array of fields of inquiry (sports, philosophy, religion, music, politics, and my field, literature). Though I was a bit too much of a 'worrier' concerning my studies (and to a lesser extent, part-time work study experiences), so that I wasn't socially involved, I still felt the impact of the core values of the institution (hospitality, excellence, mercy, to mention a few) in simple everyday situations while I resided on campus and attended mass, for example General Colin Powell's speech in 2007 on the political state of the nation, the campus' effort to go...

I atteneded UNO right after graduating from Harry A Burke High School in 1969. But is wasnt called UNO at that time, it was the Municpal College of Omaha. It merged with Nebrasaka my second year there. Its a great college as I remember it. The professors are willing to help and they prepare you to go out and find a great job after you graduate
