<p>We're extremely happy with this dryer - a thousand times better than our previous dryer. It's fast and efficient. My wife loves the wrinkle free feature. We notice far less lint than our previous dryer, so it seems to be easy on clothes.</p>
<p>It's a little too easy to hit the power button, but that's a minor issue.</p>...

I purchased this dryer about 8 months ago and absolutely love it. The pull down door is great. It keeps cloths from falling on the floor when removing them from the dryer. It is very efficient and quiet which is what I like about it most. It is also an energy star appliance....

together4ever says "This Samsung dryer offers too few usable options" about Samsung 7.4 cu. ft. Electric Steam Dryer

<p>The Samsung DV431AEP clothes dryer appears to have more options than anyone could ever use. In reality, many of these options do not fit the drying instructions on you laundry care labels and the end result is you choose the closest sensor dry option and you clothes turn out wet or over dry and shrunk. This dryer has many selections on the sensor dry side of the dial each of which has a preset selections for Dry Level and Temperature. For most of these you can adjust the Dry Level but you can not adjust the Temperature at all or maybe just between two of the 5 levels. For these, the selection is locked betten medium and hot. Each selection also starts with a default time estimate that varys as it runs based on the moisture sensor. Since it is a sensor dry selection, you can not change this time. Most of our clothes; typical t-shirts, blouses, jeans, and slacks say to dry on low. Even if they say medium, our experiance has been the item will shrink if dried on medium. In all of the selections...</p>...

MULLY74 says "Noisy, Poor Drying Performance, Terrible Steam Function." about Electrolux IQ-Touch 8.0 cu. ft. Large Capacity Gas Dryer - White

I bought this to replace an LG DLGX3876W that got damaged in a flood. While we waited on the flood insurance check, I did my homework on the Electrolux, reading numerous reviews online, despite online reviews of it not always drying properly. I put this down to people maybe not operating it properly as other reviews suggested- BOY, WAS I WRONG.
The features that attracted me to this machine, were the Delay start, and the directly plumbed water line, which the LG didn't have, as well as the steam which the LG did have.
I am a musician, who is always on the go, so I often use the steam function, as I do not like nor have the time to iron!
My LG washer steams nicely, as did the LG dryer, however I liked the fact that some manufacturers were making steam dryers with a dedicated water line. With my LG Dryer, I had to fill the reservoir with filtered water each time I did a steam cycle.

I WOULD NOT CLASSIFY THIS MACHINE AS A STEAM DRYER AND WILL EXPLAIN WHY!!

The Electrolux sprays a fine......

<p>While I went to buy the regular dryer, my husband wanted the steam dryer. He says the steam function does well for touchups on his polo shirts that he doesn't iron before wearing. I also wanted mechanical controls but he wanted the LCD colortouch digital controls. There are many options to try to find the proper one for your load. I have found that the dryer dries the clothes in the selected function the first time which is really nice. I trust that they are dry and leave them sitting there sometimes for awhile. I also love the see-through door,,,don't know why but it's nice to know there is something in there before you open the door. I also purchased the Kenmore Elite 4.5 digital control washer with LOTS of washer options. What fun I am having doing clothes. Husband loves dryer and washer too, as he does his own laundry!</p>...

<p>I have had this dryer and the matching washer for two days and have done about 4 loads of laundry. The washer and dryer do a great job with one major flaw. The signal to indicate the end of the cycle for each product is so weak in sound that no one can hear it past 5 feet from the machines. I called the mfg and Sears customer service and got only the pass the buck blame game. Even the loudest setting would not wake a baby near the dryer. I spent more time restarting the dryer to get the wrinkles out because of not hearing any sound for the end of the drying time. Sears should fix this problem since they usually have great products, but alI got was " I'm sorry, but there is nothing they can do". Can anyone help fix this flaw?</p>...

Disappointed in how this dryer operates. When drying a load of sheets, they ball up causing them not to dry. The fine print in the Owners Manual suggests one sheet or blanket at a time. If you research online, you will find this is a common problem. This dryer should be recalled and not sold by Sears or *****....

I have had this dryer only 3 months and so far all is good. I am using most all the different cycles and they are serving their purpose. The only thing negative so far is that the drum light stays on during the whole cycle if you dont shut it off . It is easy to shut it off but I can't understand why its default would leave the light on during the drying stages. My clothes washer just went out too which was paired w/ my old dryer of 15 + years so now I am looking at the partner to this dryer. Delivery guys and sears staff have been great with my dryer purchase and delivery....

<p>We bought this dryer a few weeks ago. It has been great. It is so quite and works so very fast. Our old dryer was a hand me down and was as old as my wife(26) and it finally broke. It is gas compared to the electric one we had and am looking forward to the cheaper cost. When it was delivered it had a huge(2 foot) dent along the side of it. They delivery team pointed it out to us immediatly and even called Sears for us to allow us to keep and use the damaged one and would delivery a new one in 2 days. Great product though and apprecaited the honest and helpful delivery team.</p>...

If you have pets this is NOT the dryer for you. Our clothes are full of pet hair after drying no matter hou many dryer sheets I put in I have to have a lind roller when I fold our clothes. We spend alot of money on this set after we lost all we had in the ND flood of 2011. I am so unhappy with this set it's not funny any more, Samsung TV's are fine but you don't know anything about washers and dryers. Wow what a waste of our money!...
