I've had this fan for over 2years and this fan has been GREAT!

It is a little noisey but for me this is NOT a CON, since more than half the reason it is in my room is to be used to as a white noise machine to go to sleep. I don't have any mildew or rust problems with mine, but mine is in a spot where liquid isn't around it and it is kept in a clean well dusted room at all times.

We had another Galaxy fan that we had for YEARS and it was still going strong, I just felt it was time for a new one because It was so old. It never gave us any problems that is why I chose a cheaper Galaxy again!

I would definitely recommend this fan to anyone, It does it's job of moving air nicely and while it is a little on the louder side that works just fine for us.

This is a handy little fan. It's much less powerful than the 20x20 box fan I have, but is also half the size and not nearly as noisy. I'd go with a 20x20 fan if you need to bring in A LOT of cool air, but this one is good for tiny windows or if you don't have a very large area to cool.

I live in an older house with big rooms. Everyone of them as a Hunter ceiling fan and I have two in my kitchen. They help circulate air throughouth my house to keep things cool in the summer. In winter when the fireplace heat rises to the ceiling, I can reverse the fan blades and push the heat back to my cold feet where it is needed. Not only do Hunter ceiling fans do the job they also look good doing it. I can't imagine not having Hunter ceiling fans in my home.

I enjoy sitting on my screened porch every evening. It is my relaxing time. Even with a shade tree it can get quite warm. This oscillating fan moves just enough air to cool down the porch a few more degrees so that it is not unbearably hot. Also, it is quiet enough that the noise does not interfere with conversations. It is light weight and can be easily moved if need be. I like that it has a stand and doesn't take up valuable table space. It is just the right height and the buttons are easily accessible.

I purchased this fan last week, and so far I love it. Even on the low setting it pushes a lot of air, and on high it blows things around my apartment that aren't secured. I have a one bedroom, loft, apartment and it has done an excellent job keeping me cool without the AC.

The fan itself is made of metal and plastic, both feel sturdy and reliable. It makes regular fan noises, but nothing out of the ordinary, I personally find the sound of a fan relaxing. There is only one anomaly, the remote control for the fan operates on the same frequency as the volume control on my TV! It freaked me out at first but I had a good laugh.

Anyways, if you are looking for a solid, effective fan for a reasonable price, I highly recommend this one. Hope this helped.

Air King Fans are made of the strongest material and keep you cool all the time depsite the 100 degree temperatures. The 9230 model is by far the most powerfull fan I ahve ever encountered for home use. It keeps the whole house cool and never in sweat. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to save money by not turning on the AC or just to keep cool. This fan will get the heat right out of you

I really enjoy how my ceiling fan helps circulate the air in my bedroom. It helps cool me on hot summer days and nights. It also helps bring the heat down to my level on icey cold winter days. I believe it additionally helps with the overall utility bill aswell as keeping me nice and comfortable in any climate situation. The reversing directions is definately a good idea for comfort enhancement. Additionally the attached chandelier is very ornamental to look at and helpful with my lighting needs.

The Honeywell fan just might be the best darn mini fan I have yet purchased. It has a lot of power and force. On those cooler but yet still a bit warm in your house days, no need to turn on the AC, just turn on the Honeywell fan. It is David, and the AC is Gollith, and David beat Golliath. Best mini fan by far for a small space in the home. Does the job and keeps you cool!

I wanted to update my ceiling fans in my home and couldn't afford the ones at the big box stores. KMART has always been a favorite for me so I checked and low and behold there were reasonably priced fans that were beautiful as well. I actually purchased two at one store and was assisted by customer service to find the third. I am a happy homeowner now with brand new fans. Yay!!
