Have been using this machine for about 9 months. The machine looks great, is very easy to use because it has several adjustable features that allow you to fit lamost anything in this machine. The top rack lifts out without any tools so it is really easy to wash tall items. I have 4 kids and use the machine 2X per day, I am VERY HAPPY with the cleaning performance of the machine. Because the machine is so quiet, sometimes I do not hear it running. A digital cycle timer would have been nice...but you cant beat the price. Pd 599 @ Grant's in Chicago.

Cleans even stuck on food, you can not hear this machine run,easy to use and holds a lot of dishes....

I have had the Kenmore Ultra Wash Quiet Guard 4 for 2 years at least now and I would not recommed it. The glasses always come out dirtier than they go in. Very frustrating. I've taken to handwashing the glasses instead of putting them in the dishwasher. Why can't someone make a good washer that is reasonably priced? This is the second dw we have had in 9 years. There was a day when an appliance worked for more than a few years before it crapped out. Who cares if it is quiet if it doesn't clean?

I purchased my Kenmore Ultra wash with turbozone model # 665.1374 3 years ago. For the past year I have had nothing but disappointment in this model. The glasses don't clean, the front touch panel has long ago lost most of the labels. I will not purchase a Kenmore again.

We bought this dishwasher when we moved in the new house 5 years ago after we lost our house in Hurricane Katrina. We have had Kenmore dishwashers for at least 20 years prior to purchasing this one. This one is about as quiet as our previous ones...NOT! Haven't had an problems at all ... very pleased, but with the name "quiet guard" ...very misleading!

We are not very happy with our purchase. Our previous dishwasher was a Kenmore and we were very happy with it. We had it for about 22 years and only bought a new one because the racks inside the dishwasher were beginning to rust.

The Bosch dishwasher that we purchased does not clean the dishes nearly as well. We have to use the longest cycle and have tried several detergents. The best one has been Finish. But still we find dirty dishes

First off, it is a bear to install. The water fitting is a garden hose fitting. It points down and is so close to the floor that a 90 deg fitting is required. (The installation kit is a ripoff at $11.00, but the fitting is difficult to obtain elsewhere.) There are no adjusters for the rear corners, so you have to insert shims if your floor is not level (and whose is?). The tub is so close to the floor that it is very difficult to do anything with the unit upright.

After first install, the unit made a loud, low pitched, noise while running. I called "service" and was told that noise was not covered by the warranty. The only thing covered was "functionality". If the unit washed dishes, I would be charged for the service call. I told the "service" person that I would try to fix the noise myself and, If I could not, return the unit and buy a Kitchenaid. She said that was fine. Does anyone wonder why Sears is going broke?

Overall, the construction is flimsy and cheap. ...

I am 62 years old, so I have gone through many dishwashers. This is the most wonderful dishwasher ever. It is so quiet that you have to listen closely and see the blue lights on to even know it is really washing. It's very easy to load with so much adjustable things on it. If I had to make a dishwasher to my liking, this would be it. I would highly recommend this to any family, friends, or even non-aquaintances. It actually tells you how long the cycle will be. It has many different cycles to pick from. It also has a turbo wash for very heavily soiled dishes. You can't ask for anything better than that. Try it - you'll like it!!!

This great looking dishwasher cleans even better than it looks. Take your dishes from the table to the dishwasher with no pre rinsing necessary. The large capacity allows for taller items, and you can relax without hearing the amazing cleaning job this unit produces. Worth the extra money for the quality energy efficient cleaning job it does....

Overall, I am quite dissatisfied with this product. Initially, it seemed to clean fairly well, but over the years( I have owned this appliance for approx. three (3) years ) it has performed poorly. The dishes DO NOT come out completely clean, unless they are pre-washed to such a degree as to be clean. What's the point in owning a dishwasher if one must hand wash the dishes before they go into the appliance? One must also use a 'dishwasher cleaning product' on a monthly basis. I was told that using said product would assist in keeping the dishwasher's performance at maximum. I truly don't notice much of a difference, if any, when I use the cleaner. I must say that I am glad that I purchased a five (5) year warranty. At the very least, I can have the dishwasher checked out on an annual basis. Buyer Beware...

We thought that Sears made quality appliances through its Kenmore division, but have been sorely disappointed by the quality of our Kenmore Elite Ultrawash. The dishwasher lasted almost three years before the bearings (below the motor) were destroyed, leaving water all over the floor. The $350 repair made us wonder about the value of keeping the unit. Now at four years old, the dishwasher is again leaking water over our nice floor. It's not like we misused it or applied the wrong detergent. It appears to be designed to prevent future Kenmore purchases.

After 15 years my Maytag dishwasher is still going strong. I would buy another Maytag in a second. Wouldn't consider another brand. I had a GE first and wouldn't recommend it to anyone! I can overload my Maytag and everything always comes out sparkling clean. And "if it doesn't go in the dishwasher, it goes in the garbage!"
