This chest freezer I purchased from Sears stopped working after 8 months. I had it set on level 4 for coldness and came home and the inside started melting. I figured it had an auto defrost setting. Nope. Completly stopped working.Im a lactating mother and purchased this freezer to store my babies milk. Thank goodness I caught this in time. Had all my milk thawed, I would have gone Momma Bear on someone.

Luckily, a Sears tech came out and said they have had a lot of problems with this specific unit not working after awhile. Sears is replacing my unit free of charge. Thank goodness for the warrenty.

This has been a wonderful investment. Freezer is the perfect size for my family's needs and fits all of the meat from an entire cow. The dividers have been especially useful for dividing hamburgers, steaks, roasts, etc. We have not had any issues with the lid. The price was the best value available for this size freezer. We are very happy with our purchase....

It is nice to walk by the freezer and actually not hear it run. Our old freezer never shut off. It got to the desired temp. quickly and has kept it there without excessive running....

We have had our Whirlpool chest freezer for quite a few years. It keeps our food frozen and doesn't collect a lot of frost. It is easy to clean and defrost. It holds a lot of meat, a whole cow! It is great for freezing vegetables.

We purchased this freezer to replace a 25 yr.old model. It far exceeds our expectations and needs. It quickly reached zero. I love the dividers, indicator/temperature light display, interior light and it runs quietly. We are really pleased with our purchase and with the prompt and courteous service we received at Sears.

I purchased this freezer on 7/3/11 to replace a 12 cu ft sears model that had worked great for 18 years and finally quit......like the dividers and two baskets that the other model didn't have. So far it's working good.....builds frost slightly more than the previous model but I can live with that since it scrapes off easily with a "plastic " scraper.....over all I would buy this model again and would recommend it to anyone....

It comes with feature incase electric goes off you have battery backup and it beeps to let you knoew there's a problem. Comes with 3 baskets and also dividers to help sort food groups for easier finding what you want....

The kenmoer Elite is by far the nicest freezer we have ever owned. The dividers that come with the freezer are a teriffic idea as well as the up front temperature display and the battery backup alarm for power outages. I would recommend this freezer to anyone with a large family or anyone who freezes large quantities....

Product is great. I use it for sale items I purchase. Meats, poultry, etc. I just wish I had an extra basket for smaller items. I love the size and that I can place it in a small aea and it is nt taking up alot of space. I runs smoothly and low humming sound. Doesn't bother me. I am very pleased with the product....

This freezer is everything you need to have for storage. Helped me alot when I have parties. Could fit anywhere in my kitchen. Just want it to defrost itself. Have to clean the ice of once a month and wnat it to have more bsket for meat storage.

All of my home appliances are Kenmore products. They have all lasted for quite some time even though I have and renew my warranty every 1 - 2 years. I can only remember having to contact the warranty department and it was for something minor with my Kenmore refrigerator. What wonderful gifts to me in the long run. NO wear and tear!
