I would have given this review a 5 star because Alamo rental experience was great for the price of the car which was comparably lower then the other rental companies in the area. From the pick up, front counter check in and person getting the car to me, all personnel were really nice. The only complaint was the wait time for the car......it took us almost an hour to get a car, it was a good thing I wasn't scheduled for a meeting. However, we got a free upgrade and the car was nice, clean and comfortable to drive.

We are infrequent-renters so don't have lots of experience w/rental companies. My biggest complaint is, at the airport, once you get out to the vehicle, there's nobody to report problems w/the car's condition (late eve. flight arr. after 10pm). We immediately noticed scratches near the license plate/bumper, and photographed them; I didn't want to go back INTO airport to deal with them again! Driving off the airport property, the car was terribly out of balance (wheel shaking, etc.). Our motel was 12 miles away. I phoned the airport tele # to leave msg w/MgrOnDuty (now about midnight). Nobody returned my call; I called again @ 9am, still no answer, called the Cust.Serv. #, was told to go exchange the car. I asked could I take the car to get wheels balanced, get Budget to pay, she said just exchange the car. HASSLE to go back to airport, so we found a closer location; more hassle, they were reluctant to help us; didn't have a compact (again I asked about getting tires balanced...

So much better than the rest, Enterprise picks me up! Some of the others make you go through so much before you can get your vehicle, then make swapping difficult, and only accept returns certain hours, or their selection isn't the best. Enterprise always has a great selection, brings the vehicle to me, works with my insurance faultlessly, makes swapping easy when it is needed, and makes returns a snap. Would highly recommend!

National Car Rental was the best part of our whole trip. I purchased this rental online the night before our travel plans. The car was in excellent condition and enjoyed it more than our own vehicle. Even the mileage was included with the cost. Customer service was outstanding and understanding of our horrible flight experience. Their friendliness helped us to forget all of our pain and suffering at the first airport. Thank you....

Have used Thrifty the 3 times this year. The service has been qucik. I am a rewards member so that helps expediate the process. My son enjoyed the sirius satellite radio quite a bit....

Had a great car, was delivered in a very clean condition and everyone, from the guys that delivered the car to the Agency to the lady behind the counter was extremely polite and helpful to me and my family....

The owner of the Budget Car Rental Agency at Ogden, Utah Airport changed their written
contract and charged us a $1.00 a mile for our rental from the Ogden Airport to the Spokane,
Washington Airport, which was over 750 miles. We are having to Appeal to the Corporate Budget Rental Office and they have yet to do anything to modify the Bad Relations created
by this Franchise Owner and his offices in Ogden, Utah and at the Boise, Idaho Airport Office.

My son wrecked my car and the insurance company I use has rental replacement while car is in the shop. They use Enterprise. They have cars that are new and also many different types of cars. However the car we got was 1 year old and the seats were stained and the interior of the car was filthy. They have lovely commercials about picking you, however after trying to work out a schedule with them to pick me up and after 2 hours of trying to figure out when they were free and I was free, I finally just got a ride to pick the car up myself. The staff at Enterprise were polite , but not in any big hurry to get me in and out, and I was on my lunch break and just made it back to work on time(with no lunch). They do offer decent rates, and drop off service for after hours returns. If they are your only choice it does beat walking....

I recently rented cars through Budget at three stops (islands) during our Hawaiian vacation. I rate my satisfaction as Oahu=Good, Kauai=Poor, Maui=Excellent. The Kauai airport location was craming Suburu Impreza'a down your throat whereas the Maui airport rental office does not carry that automobile (I know why). We were expecting a Ford Focus at the three stops but got a Vibe-Impreza- Focus. I know there is not brand guarantee but the quality should be equivilant. Believe it was not.

Nothing bad happend but I did refuse two Imprezas before I accepted the third one offered to me. This was my first ime to use Budget and the experience fell short of my expectations.
