I like this little stove a lot! There are similar products out there that sell for considerably less. But, the looks and quallity of this unit did seem considerably better when I shopped around. Also, it seems people are able to get parts and service from Dimplex in the rare case something goes wrong. The other brands seem to be disposable should you have a problem after the replacement warranty runs out and parts seem to be unavailable in most cases.

The "fire" doesn't look 100% real. Although, it really does create a wonderful atmosphere IMO. The glowing / flickering embers in the bottom logs look surprisingly real. But, all of the "flames" are behind the logs, which is really the only dead giveaway.

The heater seems to be very high quality. It puts out the maximum heat any space heater would be capable of when running on an average 15 amp household circuit. The blower is reasonably strong and pretty quiet. Only a very slight "whooshing" sound and a very faint hum can be heard...

My kenmore #75121 a/c unit is by far one of the nicest air conditioners on the market

I removed this unit from the box and install it as a wall unit in my home where i removed our old wirlpool unit . After a few modifications to the hole in the wall the unit slide right in and i powered it up instantly the unit was cold and blowing very quietly .

I must say that we would highly recommend this unit to anybody that wants and upgrade or just a very nice a/c unit that is very quiet.

For 299.99 and 12000 btu i dont think anybody could go wrong with buying this unit.

On any appliance purchase I start at Sears and then travel to all the other stores within a 25 mile radius. Research by eshausting every internet review or consumer report out there!

After wasting days and sometimes weeks I continue, 9 out of 10 times, go back to Sears and buy the Kenmore brand.

This air conditioner, after about a month of owning, has not let me down. It was a snap to install and it does its job flawlessly. I use it to cool off my 250sq foot west facing bedroom to beat the Texas summer 100 + degree heat. It allows my Central A/C to be turned up during the night.

By far this A/C (model 75062) has surpassed my requirements. It is quiet yet powerfull and takes no time to cool down my west facing bedroom in a 50 year old house with aluminium (read drafty and zero energy rating) windows.

I fidure I should have learned by now to just stick with Kenmore, it seems they have done my homework for me......

Kenmore 7800 Btu Window Air Conditioner Unit. The price of this unit is very competative in my research in comparing size, cooling, construction, features and also knowing who is backing it. Any problem and back it goes for one year. I purchased this unit to be able to turn off my central unit at night while sleeping. I have a 5 ton central unit and figured if I turned it off and ran this instead I would save money espaecially with the "energy saver" function. I bought two units at one time. One was a 5300 BTU unit and the other was the 7800 Btu unit. Both unit work exactly as advertised and do a very good job of cooling. Installation was no more difficult than with any window unit. Unless you have an oversized window which I did it, shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes to get this thing going. I must say the accordian side expansion pieces that fill in the space between the unit and the window frame are extremely cheaply made and totally inadequate. It a relatively...

We've been using two of these Kool Operator 20-inch fans for the last four summers. Normally, we run them on Low speed setting, occasionally on Medium setting. They work great!

PRO: Quieter than either of our box fans.

Moves more air than our box fans.

More stable, won't tip over as easily as a box fan.

Can be tilted to direct airflow up or down towards you or your pets.

CON: Does not fit on our narrow window sills because of large feet on base.

We purchased the Kenmore 15,000 BTU Air Conditioner to cool off an 11X16 bedroom. Unfortunately our experience confirms the cons others have mentioned: excessive noise, hot nights, and one direction air flow. The Sears technician insisted the unit functioned because his thermometer registered 55, but the room temperature was 75 after 12 hours of running the machine. For the price paid this item and Sears customer service leaves much to be desired. We will think twice before selecting Kenmore products.

This Kenmore 12,000/11,200 BTU Multi-Room Heat/Cool Room Air Conditioner does an excellent job of heating and cooling. I purchased this unit in 2008 and have enjoyed it in the winter and summer. It is energy efficient and runs quietly. I was pleased with how easily it installed. I am using it in a through the wall installation, so I had to modify the installation a little bit. My only dislike of this unit is that the fan runs all the time, whether the compressor is running or not. This is not a problem, but it would be nice if the fan would cycle like the compressor does. My Kenmore unit was manufactured by LG for Sears. It is a good unit and I am pleased with this purchase. I would recommend this multiroom heat/cool AC.

I recently received this as a gift and was very excited. Come to find out this was too large for most of my windows and too small for 1 of my windows. Being bummed I was researching other options and found a casement style window. After getting my hopes up for a new air conditioner I called Sears.com to process an exchange. HaHaHaHa. An hour and a half later I was told they are unable to assist me and suggested I returned the product then purchase the one I was looking at. WAIT WAIT WAIT WHAT. I can't complete an exchange????? I will never do business with Sears and would highly suggest everyone reading this to do the same. This is my way of telling 10 people that according to Sears the customer is not always right and customer satisfaction is not guaranteed. I am sorry to all the craftsman tool customers but with this experience you may not get your lifetime guarantee tools replaced.

Kenmore 7800 BTU Window Air Conditioner

Bought this unit for our bedroom. I'm trying to cut down on the use of the central unit by zone cooling different parts of my house. My 5 ton central unit seems to run a lot in the summer. I've already done the insulation and energy savings things and it helped but not enough. With this unit and another 5300 BTU unit in another bedroom at night, I should be able to set the central on 80 and cool only with the window units. We'll see if it works.

As far as the 7800 BTU Kenmore window unit goes, it's the best one I researched for the price and consumer reports says Kenmore is good. It runs relatively quietly and with the energy saver mode I think it will certainly help with the electricity bill. I bought the 5300 BTU unit earlier and it does fine also.

Both units perform exactly as advertised, but make sure you stay with in the guidelines of square footage they recommend to cool. I would recommend these units to anyone and buy...

We purchased the Kenmore 508.75121 last year to replace an ageing Amana unit. It was lighter and easier to install and seems to cool faster. It was very easy to use with the remote control and is quite quiet. But... the controls went haywire 1 year and 2 months after our purchase (warranty is 1 year on controls). The temperature control failed. With the temperature set at 86 it keeps cooling, and cooling, and cooling,...! We have to turn it off periodically to try not to be frozen out. The Sears repairman came today and told us the repair will cost $197.00 (plus $7.08 for the part including tax). The unit has a 5 year warranty on the compressor, but not on the controls. This was our first, and probably last, Kenmore product.

Kenmore 5300 BTU Window unit. Bought two for my bedrooms to run at night to possibly save on running my central unit (5 ton). Works very well in 12X12 bedroom (144 sq. ft). The other one I put in a 350 sq. ft. bedroom and though it would cool it down at night, it was basically overwhelmed once the sun started to rise. It works very well if you use it as advertised as per square footage of area to cool. The unit is very quiet and easy to install. It took about 20 minutes. I would buy another if I needed it or recommend it to any one.

I just moved in this old 4 bedroom house in DC with friends. 2 Girls and 2 guys... The girls wanted to upstairs rooms as did the other guy. I took the basement bedroom (much larger space) I was so happy! Private area, my own bathroom. Win Win!

It was spring time, the night were always nice and cool! However now that summer is here, the wonderful downstairs oasis was becoming a nasty, muggy, hot nightmare!

I was regretting the room choice!!!

I was thinking of sleeping in the living room every night... Then the most amazing discovery happened...

On one of my random rummaging in the small rooms in the basement (many things were left in these small rooms, paint, brooms, mops, clothes, shelves and much more) I found a quietly sitting Royal Sovereign ARP-1000ES Dehumidifier and air conditioner!!! At first I had no idea what it was.. I kind of looked like R2-D2... I plugged it in..

It is the best product that I have ever found! I works like a champ and very easy to use without it directions.

For the price, you can't beat this single room air conditioner. I needed to replace an aging unit which was mounted in a block wall, near the ceiling of a bedroom. The old unit was loud and you needed something to stand on to reach the controls.

It took me about 10 minutes to install this one, which is much quieter, and cools the room much better than the old one. And the remote control means no more standing on a chair to reach the controls! At night I use the low fan speed and can barely hear the unit at all, its perfect for sleeping. Daytime I use the high fan speed, and its keeping the 10x14 room perfectly cool, even with outside temperatures at 96 degrees. And its a Kenmore, so at my age, it will probably outlive me.

This fan has been providing us with plenty of comfortable airflow for the last couple years. Three speeds, adjustable height, and quiet operation. It was simple to assemble (I actually followed the instructions). And, Its head oscillates, so it covers the whole room rather than just creating one comfortable spot in the room.

I'd definitely recommend this fan to anyone looking for a stand fan for just about any size room.

I actually own two of these air conditioners, and they work great for rooms that are 10'x10' or thereabouts. They are compact, which makes them easy to store. They're also lightweight, weighing considerably less than even the 5300 BTU model, which allows them to be installed by one person. The controls are simple, with a dial for how cold you want it to be, and a fan control for high/low speed. Finally, the price is great at $99.99, making it affordable, too.

The only possible downside is that it's not Energy Star rated, but we can't have everything! If you're looking for something to cool down a small room and don't want the hassle of a bulky, heavy air conditioner, this model is an excellent choice. Just clean the filter every couple weeks and enjoy the cool air!

My complaint is not with the Kenmore water heater BUT with Sears disregard for a customers needs. I NEEDED a water heater pronto. The salesman promised next day delivery and installation. It was 7 days later that the Kenmore water heater got installed by a contractor form Niagra plumbing who didn't stick to the installation agreement. My agreement included debri clean-up and haul away of the old water heater. HE DID NOT DO THIS. He also left the large shipping box sitting in the middle of my driveway. To add insult to injury, he ripped out a wire that was my telephone and internet connection leaving me without a phone or internet for a day. I had to call my phone company to repair his damage. Which could have resulted in a fee. Luckily the serviceman from my phone/internet service was understanding thus fixing the problem and not charging me. Would that Sears was as considerate. I know I will think long and hard before I use Sears again let alone walk into one of their stores. After sharing...

As I visited the discussion boards this morning, I remembered I had to give Sears kudos on their attic fans. We purchased ours about 15-17 years ago and just like timex watches it just keeps on atickin'. Of course we have had yearly maintenance on it like a car, but have never had to buy parts or replace anything yet (knock on wood). It is a tremendouse energy saver as we do not need to turn on the air unless it gets to 80-85 degrees. We simply turn on the attic fan, open a couple of windows on the shaded side of the house and realize it is quite comfortable with the attic fan drawing the air through the house. I highly recommend those that want to save money to look into an attic fan for their home....

I bought an Electric Fireplace Heater because I was jealous of my mother's electric fireplace. I chose mine because of the price and because it was black. In addition, I call it my pot belly stove due to its design. I love having it on (without or without heat is a wonderful option) just to have the "fire" affect. It is the best purchase I have made this year. I also like the fact that it has a remote control and a temperature setting, as well as a timer. I have owned many space heaters over the past 40 years, but none have been this great. I spend quite a bit of time in my basement with my computer and tools close by. I am either on line or puttering around trying to fix something. The QTV-22 is approximately 9" deep, 10" wide and 25" tall. I keep it on low with the thermostat set to a comfortable level and leave it alone. The area I am in is 20' X 19' and at 8 degrees outside temp., I'm warm and cozy inside.
The QTV-22 is worth much more than the $53.95 I paid for it. It doesn't tip easy and shuts off immediately if it tilts too far. Just a little loud on high, but that's forced air. Very quiet on low. For me, the QTV-22 is by far "Best In Class". I have four friends that have purchased this product on my advice and not one complaint.

My boss bought the Holmes Space Heater to keep my work space warm and it works great. It has several options and temperature adjustments. We are in Southern California but the sun doesn't come through this part of the office and it stays cold when it is "cold" (by California standards) 50 degrees .This little heater is very quiet and it is cool to the touch. I often warm my hands by it as they get cold above the desk as I'm typing. (Wish I had it now at home).

You won't regret buying this little heater to heat up a bathroom, a child's room or your own bedroom. It doesn't use much electricity and can be bought at a great price. Very affordable....
