Thi unit is great for the garage mechanic on those hot days so we can wax and do repairs in comfort and with out the sun in our eyes, my garage is 24 by 24 feet and cools it nicely.

I purchased this A/C about three years ago, since the first day I noticed that it did not cool enough for the size of the unit. It has neves cooled as I was expexting. It sure has bit contributed to increase my electric bill. Better off with out this unit. Very noisey. HaD TO INSTALL 250/240 CONECTION.cost me $500.00. I Dont buy this product....

I bought an 25,000 BTU Kenmore Air conditioner with 3 year warranty. I have other appliances by Sears Kenmore and have not had any trouble with them all . The yearly inspection goes well. I noticed that after installing the Air Conditioner, my kitchen which is the hottest area in my house started feeling cooler within 15 minutes. It is also energy efficient during sleep time. Now I do not mind cooking in the kitchen any longer and can focus on everything that needs to be done in that room. Thanks so much for your assistance....

Dont buy KENMORE PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brought freg it broke in 6 months. Brought oven Digital panel broke in 3 months. Brought 25400 btu window unit broke in a month. I Will never ever buy from sears again. If u buy you best purchase master plan warranty.

I bought this air conditioner last year and just over 1 year the air conditioner has lost it's cooling power. It was not worth the money I paid for it. When I put down that much money on an appliance, I expect it to last longer. I will be not be buying kenmore again nor shopping Sears. They have started shortening the life span of products. Air conditioners used to last alot longer than they do nowadays. I refuse to fall into a cycle of Sears repair cash sucking too.

This is a very good unit for cooling a couple of rooms, but the blower is very loud.

you have to turn TV UP to hear sound.The noise is the only issue I see with this unit,

this unit has a blower that you have no problem feeling the air at 20ft. away on low.

( but very loud)

i had to buy this unit because my through wall hole is 26x18 and this is the only AC with those dimentions. The old AC i replaced was from the 1970s and it was loud and inefficient. I really thought they would have invented a way to make these things quiet accross all brands, i guess not. This AC is loud but i works well.

Only ran it 2 days this year but it seems to do a good job cooling my downstairs (about 1000 sq ft) and is much quieter than the very old AC it replaced. Has four temperature settings from Warmest to Coolest which the manual says are 64 to 82 degrees in 6 degree steps - no digital display of temp setting, however. Lighter in weight than my old AC but still pretty heavy - over 100 lb - so I recommend 2 people for the installation....

This unit never cooled well beyond about 15 feet. Stopped cooling all together half way through the third summer. An A/C should last longer than two and a half seasons. With all the work that goes into installing an A/C into a wall, I would never buy another Kenmore....

This unit works perfectly. I use it to cool about 500 sq ft and it does a great job. This air conditioner is also much more quite than my 15 year old Kenmore unit that was still working great, bought this one for the energy savings....

don,t waste your money. this model is nothing but junk. start having trouble 2 years after i bought it. after about 1 year later the compressor went out. i buy alot of stuff from sears. spent over 4000.00 just the last 60 days. hardly ever had any problem with sears items, ie freezer,lawn tractor and tools. stay away from the air condition!!!!...

I don't like going into a Sear's store to buy a window unit and left there wondering if I was going to buy it. the sales Dept. at Northeast Mall in Hurst Texas is the sorry'es I have ever seen to !

Poor Service to. The Lady helping me wanted to sell me a window unit and the manger in the applance's did not care !

Although this unit worked well when it was first purchased, the compressor broke after 3 years of use and the cost to repair was more than the initial cost of the entire unit. Calls to the service center were totally unproductive. We had to wait over a week to obtain a service call, then the technician cancelled the day we were scheduled for service and we were put back into the waiting list for another week. Calls to the managers were useless - all the reps were rude and dismissive. We bought an excellent model elsewhere for less money and the installation and service were great. I will never purchase from Sears again and their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced....
