We needed to replace our 30 inch GE wall oven and shopped around for a while because the prices were slightly more than we wanted to pay. A Sears sale on Kenmore ovens motivated us to consider this oven, which also came with 0 interest for one year. The features and design are comparable to the GE, but now we have a stainless steel finish instead of the old white enamel, which now matches our Kenmore Elite refrigerator. Nice even baking and easy to clean up spillovers with the hidden bake element. I love it!
...

We love it - we have our elderly fathers living with us and they used to reach over and we always thought they would burn themselves on the top - but with this one the cool down time is amazing - our teenage son uses this as a trick to all of his friends he does the heat test with the pan and without - they freak at first but when they feel it - I have had more parents ask how they can get one for their home. Now I do send them to the Sears at the mall - because our local small store in this town - they are not knowledgable or friendly - they have no product knowledge - customer service 0

Customer service at the one in FT Worth - always a 10

We will be coming soon for a new dishwasher - I just purchased a 22drawer craftman for the guys - we are all very please with the sears in fort worth and this product
...

convertiblegal says "Frigidaire Smooth Top Stove--Luvin Cooking" about Frigidaire stove - smooth top

Maybe it's just me but the last thing I want to buy is a stove, but when my old stove kicked the bucket I didn't have a choice. I browsed Sears.com first to read reviews and comparisons so I had a better idea before I ventured out, I knew it had to be a smooth top as that's what I was used to. I went into Sears and seen several I had researched but kept going back to this Frigidiare all white smooth top cookstove, I wasn't sure how the clean up would be being it was all white so just gave up and went home. Even browsing through the internet I just couldn't seem to find anything on how the white would clean up. The next day, after eating out for several days decided I had to make a decision so I ventured back to Sears and once again I was just drawn to this stove and had to have it and it was delivered the next morning.

I've been using it for several months and I just can't get over how easy it is to clean up, the oven bakes PERFECT, my cakes come out amazing and they're not overcooked...
...

The stove we had was junk. The oven took forever to heat to 350 degrees and it was Not a sears stove. So my wife and I went to sears to look at the stoves,It was hard to decide what we wanted but we did buy a GE Gas free standing stove.Sears brought the new stove the very next day and installed it for us.Before they left we new everything on how it worked. These two men from sears had it done in no time an even took our old one. This was all done on a Sunday.I never thought it would be done so soon. The stove works great. If ever you buy anything from sears make sure you get the exstended warranty for it because that is great to.I belive that sears is the place to buy everything for the home.Thank you sears.
...

Whirlpool Model # RBS245PRB03

I Am totally dissatisfied with this product. It worked fine until I used the self-clean feature and the heating elements stopped working. I called Whirpool who referred me to their Factory Authorized Service Center, A&E Appliance Repair. They came out to look at my 24" Electric Wall Oven and said " It probably was a thermal fuse and not the thermostat that needed replacing". They said" It was my responsibility to remove my built-in oven before they could replace the part because of Liability". This made me furious! They also informed me that I shouldn't use the self-clean feature again or the same thing may occur again! This is why I paid more for this oven so I wouldn't have to manually clean again. Then they had the part shipped directly to my house with-out informing me, and the part was not here when they came to do the work. I called Whirpool and they said it was in their Warranty they they are not responsible for removing the oven to perform the service...
...

I bought a Sears Elite glass cooktop, and it was delivered broken 3 times in a row. The item was refused an taken away at the time of each delivery. To make matters worse, Sears won't credit my account- their records show that the cooktop is in my possession, which is absurd. I guess I will have to go to small claims court or report this to the better buisness bureau. I'll do whatever it takes- but what a nightmare. I am writing this to save somebody from going through the same thing.
...

rbf902 says "Packaging was great. Installation was moderate challenge" about Kenmore 790.47789406

This single wall oven has new glass outer door panel which gives the oven a sleek design. Controls are touch pad controls. Twin interior lights provide more than adequate light inside.

Packaging was very protective and very easy to unpack. Instructions were handy. There were no staples to struggle with or to get punctured on. Installation was very easy and instructions were clear.

One draw back from the original 16 year old Kenmore that it was replacing is that they have shortened the electrical cable so that you can not place oven on floor and hook up the cable. I had to place it on a table at the height of the installation hole to hook up the cable. Previous model had longer cable which made electrical hook up easier.

Another change was the location of the anti-tip screws which hold the oven in place. Previous model were located on the front face. This new model changed the location to the side trim pieces which necessitated installing the screws into the edge of the cabinet...
...

I bought this oven for my parents in November '08 and my mother LOVES it. There is a bit of a learning curve because the oven can do so much. You also have to feel it out to figure the right temperature for convection (the suggestions it came with made our turkey take awhile to cook). However, once you get used to it, it's wonderful. My mom loves to bake and cook and she says its been wonderful.

I also asked around before I bought the oven, and KitchenAid in general got great reviews. I bought mine from Sears. I bought it in Illinois and it was delivered in California.
...

We purchased our Kenmore Elite Electric Range in time to make Christmas cookies and a family holiday dinner. We continue to be delightfully surprised by the speed in which the stove top elements cook, simmer, and fry foods. We were able to bake over 350 cookies one afternoon using the convection oven, utilizing three oven racks at a time! I especially love having a light in the oven to watch cookies baking, or broiling cheese bread perfectly.

To prevent children from accidentally touching the control pad panel and turning on a burner, you can activate the "lock-out" feature.

Although I haven't had the time to use this feature yet, this oven has the ability to plug-in an oven probe to bake a roast to perfection. It also has the option to convert a recipe's regularly cooking time to convection cooking which speeds the time up while cooking evenly.

Since everything is operated by a "touch" front panel, there are no knobs, buttons, or dials to scrub or clean! And the oven...
...

Thanks Sears, and the lovely salespeople who helped us to decide. Yes, there was more than one floorperson who helped out. Very professional, knowledgeable, and didn't take my -very harsh critiscisms/questions to heart. I've always been a hard customer to please, however, they certainly did it with the Jenn-Air. I wish we had gotten into one sooner. Up until we bought one, my wife was not a baker. Now, she is adding recipe after recipe to her list of 'cook-a-bles'. For her, she couldn't even do a simple cornbread - believe it, or not. Now the Jenn-Air does all the hard work for her. Was a nice clean install by the installers, Sears sent out a great crew! I was a bit unsure about the bare electric cords, and didn't want to burn down the house. The Sears professionals can be relied on. (No I don't work for Sears) We have the oven/microwave combo, and If you need a good oven/microwave combo, give the Jenn-Air a look. If you get one, you will wonder why you didn't......

I recently purchased a new Kenmore Gas Range, Model 7136 for my home. After much research on line and in several stores and I came back to Sears to purchase this model. The sales associate was very knowledgable about the product and took the time to discuss the product with me at length. After using the my new gas range I really enjoy cooking on the stove top with full grille and several levels of cooking. The oven cooks any thing from meats to baking brownies perfectly. Cleaning is easy and quick. I really like the electric lighted clock. Over all I am very happy with this appliance and would consider purchasing another applicance from Sears....
