SHC-ErinM says "Works well - when you use it" about Oxo Salad Spinner

This is a great product - I've had mine for 5 years now and it continues to work as expected. It spins as it should and removes the moisture from lettuces/ spinach as well as herbs or other leafy ingredients. It is a bit bulky and as a result, I have it stored in a cabinet over the sink - hard to get to quickly. I don't use as much as I should, but that's not the product's fault! It takes a bit longer than I'd like to get the leaves completely dry (and tends to bounce around the counter unless I hold it down).
...

I bought this out of curiosity when I was getting sick of using various other utensils to try to evenly create my salads whilst trying to give the look of a neat salad. I have to say that although this a little bulky for most kitchens, it's ingenious! I love it! It's nothing high tech, but so great that you'll really start appreciating it when your salads have evenly distributed ingredients and when salads look professionally prepared- all because of a salad spinner! I would recommend this to every one that cooks, it's really a lovely little gadget which will make salad making a joy and enjoyable too- I love how when I have guest over, they think that I spent so much time on a salad because its perfectly mixed!
...

Chip, chip, hooray! These Corelle plates usually are top notch in quality, but for some reason these were cheapy and chippy! Very prone to staining and NOT dishwasher friendly. You might as well just use paper plates, they might be higher quality! Can you sense my bitterness?!! Corelle specifically makes some great chip resistant, dishwasher friendly plates. I forget the exact model, but the paint does not chip and they are very durable. The designs also stay on much better(unless you like the plain). Invest you money in those other, durable plates than this set.
...

This KitchenAid mixer is an excellent investment! I just love mine! The dough hook attachment is the greatest invention ever. No more kneading! I used this wonderful machine to make 4 pounds of Pizza Geina dough without breaking a sweat. Add your ingredients, turn it on and it does the rest! It has a very powerful motor and every part of this mixer is excellent quality and well made. It is simple to lock in the mixing bowl and it is also a breeze to clean. The different attachments are very easy to attach and remove. It would be impossible not to love it! Did I mention how easy the clean up is? I love it so much I bought the KitchenAid quilted cover for it. Once you use this mixer you will never want to use anything else! The Best!!!
...

I love to bake and last summer I finally decided to invest in the 5 qrt kitchenaid mixer. This is a great tool with lots of options when it comes to size, accessories and colors...I got the ever-stylish-goes-with-everything stainless steel. It makes baking super easy....no more struggling with hand mixers to get the job done. The pouring shield is fanastic, useful and eliminates the mess.

My only suggestion: definitely fill out the warranty card or buy all metal attachments. I already chipped the enamel on my paddle attachment :(
...

During years I have been doing a lot of cooking and baking specially when it comes to baking I go nuts. So it's very important to count with the best equipment. I bought my Kitchen aid mixer about 15 years ago. I still have it. It looks and works as the same day I got it. But its not the way it looks or works, I think that its because it has become part of me. My definition for this machine would be the creating aid not a kitchen aid because every time I get ready to prepare something I feel it time to create and as I watch the ingredients mixing a sensation of great come over me and when the batter is done and your pouring into the mold the sensation grows even bigger. The fluffiness of everything you do in it is out of this world. Having this machine simply gets you moving in other thing witch in my case are not using constantly but you know you have it and if you need there it is. You can grow meat, you can make pasta, and you can wisk up egg whites in a flash. On TV you see that...
...

For those of you who love eating good food, but cannot consider yourself an expert in cooking, Rachel Ray Orange Cookware set is your product. Rachel Ray is well known for teaching people how to make good meals in a limited amount of time and this cookware set is well designed for those people who are just starting their adult lives. Whether you are a first time mother, wife, or just got your first place, a cookware set is always important. Some of the best features about this product are the colors, clear tops, and the cookware is non-stick. With stick pans, food gets burned eassily and the nutrients of some foods are reduced. Thus, the food does not taste as well, which is why I recommend Rachel Ray's product. On the other hand, if you are an expert in cooking, this product might not be ideal for you because its not made for long term use. However, as a first time cookware investment, this product gives you everything you need to cook any meal in the kitchen. Finally, for the price, it...
...

I recently moved to a new place and decided I needed to toss my old pots and pans and start fresh. I am a mother of three very hungry, impatient children. I typically have all four burners working as well as a rice cooker at times. After much debate over cookware selection, I decided on the Martha Stewart's 10 piece cookware set. I was so happy to find a set that was not coated with a "scratch resistant, non-stick coating" that resists no scratches. Not to mention, if you happen to walk away from your food for a few minutes to long, the "non-stick coating" seems to flake and "stick" to your food. I've tossed many a meal to this occurrence. The material that this cookware is made of, is reminiscent of a "cast iron type" material but lighter and smoother, without the need for "seasoning" the pans prior to first use. It's extremely heavy duty, and food just doesn't stick to it, which makes it so easy to clean. Most affordable cookware now days is so thin and aluminum, one bad choice on...
...

Glad hit a home run with their Press 'n Seal Wrap. It solves the problem when you can't find the right top for a plastic storage container. It sticks well to just about anything. The only drawback is it won't stick to a dish that has condensation on it, but you can avert the problem by wiping the dish first and removing any moisture. It sticks so much better than plastic wrap and it keeps things so much fresher because the seal is so good. Another great use is wrapping items for the freezer. If you wrap your meats in this wrap and then place in a zipper storage bag and squeeze out all the air, you will avoid freezer burn. It really works well for individually wrapping things for the fridge or the freezer. Its well worth every penny.
...

Calphalon cookware can be used to cook just about anything and nothing sticks to it. I have two frying pans and a dutch oven. I also own a stainless set of cookware that I use for only certain things because it doesn't hold a candle to the Calphalon. Had I known how much I like the Calphalon, I never would have purchased the stainless steel cookware. I have to say my favorite piece is the dutch oven. I use it on my cooktop for making soups, stews, spaghetti noodles, and other large recipes. I especially love using it in the oven. It works for baking a chicken in the oven and it comes out perfect every time. I also use the dutch oven for baking pork and beef roasts. It comes out so tender and moist, because it is encased and holds in the moisture. The cleanup is the best part. These pans just come clean so easily no matter what you cook. I read one review that said eggs stick to these pans, but if you spray it with a little nonstick cooking spray, it doesn't stick. The other......
