We purchased the Elite 2 drawer dishwasher and Elite over the range microwave. The 2 biggest wastes of our money EVER! My kitchen floor is ruined from the thing leaking everytime it runs. Dishes are dirty. WE HATE IT! Microwave is dead after 3 years.

Could not believe that 6 months after the 1-year warrantee expired the top drawer stopped working and would not drain. Repair will be half of replacement cost.

Does not clean well anyway, and cycle takes nearly 3 hours!

This appliance is garbage. The concept is good but the design and implementation is junk. Sears should be ashamed and obviously knew what a junker this thing was because you finally pulled it off your shelves, but not before you rooked enough of us Kenmore loyal consumers out of nearly $1500 for a dishwasher that doesn't work. Shame on you Sears. You won't be getting any more of my money after nearly 25 years of consumer loyalty. Shame, shame, shame!...

The only reason we even purchased this model was because of the price. This dishwasher normally retailed for $1799.99. We purchased ours for $239.00. It was cheaper than any other model offered at htie particular store we were shopping at. I am able to fill it with Full size dishes. I like the fact that one drawer can be washing and the other can be filled next. Length of cycles have not seemed bothersome and our is fairly quiet.

I have had this dishwasher for 3 years, it has had a problem with leaking for at least 2 of them. Sears repair people have been here at least 6 times and it still leaks. Does not clean the dishes very well either. It does look good and that is all it has going for it. I bought it for the name thinking a Kenmore Ellite would be a very good product. I have been very disappointed with this product.

This dishwasher came with the new house I bought and I can't tell you anything good about it except the way it looks! It takes 3+ hours to run through a cycle, and then the dishes aren't clean or dry. Really, butter is sometimes still on knives! After reading the manual, I found out that you should run the hot water before starting the machine. I do this now which cut the run time down from 4+hrs. There are a few zones that do not get much water, so glassware or silverware along the edge of the drawer don't get clean. Anything on the "shelf" never gets clean. My family of 3 uses a lot of glassware and bowls. One drawer will hold maybe 4 bowls and 5 glasses/coffee cups. Forget about pots and pans--they won't fit. I find I am spending way too much time with dishes and can't wait to replace this thing!

This is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. I spent over $30,000 in appliances at Sears and wish I hadn't. I love the look and the design, but unless you enjoy washing your dishes after they come out of the dishwasher, I recommend that you NOT buy this product. Silverware NEVER comes clean. Instructions recommend that you not rinse your dishes first, but if you don't, they don't come clean (even after 2 or 3 washes!). I am not a happy customer and this appliance is NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

This dishwasher seemed perfect for our needs. We knew it would be smaller and larger items would not fit. However, it takes FOREVER to run a load. Then once it is finally complete, we open it to find the dishes still dirty or worse. Come to find out it must have the rinse aid (which we use anyway) and must be run on High Temp wash to get the dishes mostly clean. Apparently, it will be worse in the winter when it is colder and takes longer to heat the water. Not sure where the energy savings comes in if you have to run on High Temp and runs for hours. We are returning it and going back to a full sized dishwasher.

We have had this DW for almost 2 years. It has not broken or had leaks, however, we dislike it enough that it will be replaced. Bottom line it doesn't clean well, dishes must be cleaned/rinsed before being placed in the DW. I have had other DWs that you can place dirty dishes in and they come out clean... but not this one. Other gripes are: the drawer needs to be propped open when loading (Your hip will do), a larger cutting board will not fit unless it's the only item, a serving platter won't fit unless it's the only item, a cookie sheet don't fit unless it's the only ... you get the idea.

Things this DW does well: Its quiet... um, that's it.

BTW... This DW gets low marks from a leading comsumer group for Washing Performance and Energy Use.

I bought this dishwasher even after reading all the reviews and I must say I love it. This is a dishwasher the average Joe should not install. I am a licensed Plummer and have installed many, many dishwashers and by far this was the hardest to install. It needs to be very level and secure. This could be the cause of some customer's leaks. If it is done correctly you will not have any problems. If your installer is done in under and hour it is not done right. I do not know how it is possible for this dishwasher to break your glasses as the cleaning spray bar is under the rack I have had nothing broken. I have a family of six and it will fit a full set of dinner dishes in it with room to spare. It is very quiet to operate and it cleans very well. I like that it does not have a heating element as it does not warp my Tupperware and other plastic dishes and it saves me money. The only con I have against this dishwasher is the price.

This dishwasher floods my kitchen every few days, does not clean the dishes nor dry them. Normal size dishes will not fit. The warranty is afwul. Parts break over and over and noone seems to care.....they will fix any damager it does to my house but not fix the dishwasher. I feel like I am dealing with stupidty. Do not purchase!!!!

This dishwasher is not worth it because parts break and end up leaking all over your floor. Also, our dishwasher is less than two years old, and a repair person has come out about 7 times. You also must clean the dishwasher by removing the rack, taking off the plastic blade, undoing a bunch of screws, and the sticking your hand in there and pulling out old food. If you do nott, your glasses come out foggy and need to change filters. It might be sleek, but it's not sweet.

We moved into the house brand new set there. I absolutely hate them. I am ordering a fridgedare one which I had at my old house and it did a perfect job.

Don't buy. Also very very noisey. Oh and the dishwashers both on the same cycle and start at the same time on stops a long time before the other.

This is by far the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. It doesn't clean as well as the name implies that it will... ELITE? I think not. You have to run the hot water until the hot water reaches the washer... A complete waste of water. If you skip this step the diswasher absolutely will not clean. There is no heating element in this washer. Dishes are dried by a fan hense the long running times of the dishwasher.

If you do purchase this washer after reading these reviews, then by all means purchase the extended warranty as well... you are going to need it.

I would have given this unit 1 star however, I rate 2 stars as it does look great in my kitchen. Too doggone expensive simply for the looks.

Purchased this dishwasher for my new house because we had recently become empty nesters and I thought it would be perfect for us. While I can fit all of our dishes into the dishwasher, I feel like I have to prewash them by hand because they do not get clean at all. I also have to towel dry them once the dishwasher is finished. What a waste of money! I might as well not even have a dishwasher. I think the concept is great, but this is not a good dishwasher at all.
