I love this dishwaher. It works great. Because of the lay out in our kitchen, we couldnt have a built in dishwasher. This was a great solution. The dishwasher works really well at cleaning dishes. all you have to do is remove clumps and it does the rest. Its so handy to plug this in every night and know when you wake up your dishes are clean.

The set up is very simple and only takes seconds. The dishwasher has multiple settings for cycles and drying. It also has a very handy lock button for little fingers who like to push buttons.

I am very satisfied with our purchase of this dishwasher. It will be with us for many years.

This was purchased for me as a Christmas present a couple years ago. I LOVE THIS THING!!! Unlike some of the other reviews I read, mine was totally black with a wood laminate top. It has a large capacity, runs very quietly and is easy to move from the storage location to the sink. It is exactly the same hieght as my counters too, so it has extended my available counter space. As a home owner that hasn't had a dishwasher(except for my own 2 hands) for too many years to remember, I think this is the best and most used Christmas present I have ever had. I like the fact that you can also choose to air dry the dishes (turn off the drying cycle) which allows me to save on my energy costs. After I had it for a couple months, I went to my sisters' house and realised that she has the same machine(older model-5+ years old) and she has never had a problem with it and she loves hers too. I would definately recommend this product.

The GE dishwasher is great. Having children and an active life style we can not keep up with all the cups and plates these kids go through. The dishwasher allows us to spend time doing other things while the diishes are being washed. The other great thing is it is an energy efficient dishwasher so the cost of running it everyday has it may it a great long term investment. Last but still important it is easy to operate so our 8 year old daughter can run the dishwasher.

My wife chose this dishwasher so i suppose she should write the review. We have only run it twice since getting it and she says it is quiet and faster than the leaking one we replaced. I'm more happy when she is happy. So far so good.

I bought this Maytag 24 inch portable dishwasher and have been useing it for a little over a month now. There are no extravagent cycles on this model but it cleans well. I make sure everything is rinsed as well as I can ( you can let minor little specs of food go) and it does a pretty thourough job( on the normal cycle , I haven't tried the heavy or light cycles yet) It has 2 sprayer arms and is a little taller than counter height giving you more space for taller items. When I first put this to use I noticed that the cycle ran longer than the manual stated that it should, so I turned up my hot water tank a notch and that solved the problem. I would recomend this product for anyone trying to lighten their work load. I gave this product 4 stars only because of the short lenght of time I've had it in use. It probably rates higher.

I live in nyc and was looking for a portable dishwasher that would suit my small eat in kitchen. After weeks of looking at different portable models from different stores and web sites I decided this NEW MODEL GE was the best bet! The only problem really is I am still one of those customer that likes to see what they are buying before I actually make a purchase. And most stores that are selling appliances dont really cater to the the client that is in store for a portable dishwasher and so tend to just stock the built in versions. So you cant really get a good idea. But I assure you I went from ******** to PC richards and at most, they maybe stocked one brand, one model. I have had my Whirlpool Portable Dishwasher for approximately 15 years, and I have never had to prewash anything. I always scrape/rinse food particles off the dishes before placing them in the dishwasher, but I do not want a dishwasher that I have to hand wash the dishes prior to placing them in the dishwasher. I have had to wash a glass here and there after removing the dishes from the dishwasher, but only occasionally.

This wonderful GE portable dishwasher works great. It is quiet and efficient and provides some extra counter space in our out dated kitchen. It cleans the dishes quite well and the outside of the appliance is easy to wipe down and maintain. The sturdy inner racks make it easy to load. And when we are ready to remodel our kitchen it can be removed from its outer-shell and installed under our new counter tops.

My prayers where unanswered because I was living in Hell washing all my dishes by hand,

Then one day I was walking through my favorite local Sears Store, and seen my Angel on wheels

Speaking to me please buy me take me home,I need a new-Home, Well my prayers where

answered , I bought my Portable Kenmore Dishwater, and It was half price, that day, and they

even gave me 10% off on the extended warranty ,it made my day, I love my new Dishwater

Because its so Quite, And gets the dishes real clean, Will buy again only Kenmore ,100%

This dishwasher works great for my situation. Maybe a little noisy but that is to be expected with a portable. It does a great job of cleaning as long as you have hot water to it to start and watch how you load the machine.

This is my family's first dishwasher and it works great !! It cleaned everything I threw at it the first night (family of 7). From pots/pans, baby bottles, dried on stuff, and even the Rubbermaid container we had stored sloppy joe leftovers in. It made ALL of it look brand new, no problems. It's easy to hook up and start up.

Don't know why some people say it doesn't clean well. Maybe some people are using CHEAP DETERGENT ???? Read the manual - GE recommends Electrasol (Finish) or Cascade. Don't skimp on the detergent - dishwashers work on the principle of a "chemical bath". Buy lower grade "chemicals" and you won't get good results.

Yes, you will need to remove your kitchen sink spray nozzle due to the pressure involved, but this is true with ALL portable dishwashers.

I don't know why some people are saying it's hard to move around - it isn't. What - do you want it to drive itself down the street or something ????

Definitely a great dishwasher and well worth the money.
