Not a good microwave. It was expensive and not worth it. I cleaned it with 409 and a small amount must have dripped into the knob control. The key pad now does not work. sence it is older that one year the Sears customer service will not even answer my question when I called. No more Kenmore for me.

I have finally had it with this microwave, and feel that I need to share my frustration. First of all, this $450 microwave is no comparison to the $100 that sat on my counter. So I'm paying a few hundred for the cheap range hood that is really not useful. The display decides when it wants to work, I'm now at the point where unplugging it doesn't even fix the problem. It just loses its mind occasionally, sometimes it takes what I hit, sometimes it delays (up to 10 seconds) and then takes it, but by that point, I've tried many things, and it doesn't work.The microwave is so huge, yet not very powerful. I am seriously debating just getting rid of it and replacing it with one that works well!Reheat is a joke, I have to type in what I'm reheating (pizza, dinner, soup and something else) and then either it is too hot, or the center is ice cold. I now have my $99 microwave on the counter while I wait for this one to be repaired, and my old microwave reheats with the touch of a single...

Great buy provided by a well-known manufacturer that has a good running history with all of my family. I have had this microwave for about 4 months now with no problems what-so-ever. I was looking for performance and ease of use with regards to the functions and both of these items impressed me for the cost.

Mounting and installation were quite simple and the instructions were laid out with plenty of good illustrations (great).

I was looking for products assembled in the USA, because I have purchased some items from Sears in the past and if they say anything about Mexico I promptly stear the other direction.

One final item, plan for the placement of the microwave, nothing is worse that having something brand-new sitting in a room waiting on ducting through your walls or cabinet adjustments.

I am disappointed with this microwave. I guess I get what I paid for. I don't have a vent to the outside of my home for exhaust fan. Instead, I have the exhaust recirculate within my kitchen. In order to combat the smell, I bought one of the charcoal filters that GE recommends. However, it is totally useless because it does not totally cover up the exhaust port. It only sides in completely to cover up one half of the exhaust port whie the other half receives no treatment. So every time we use the fan, the grease doesn't get trapped because the force of the fan is so great, that the greasy air will bypass the charcoal filter and go out the other half of the exhaust port (which has no filtration whatsoever) where there is least resistance. I end up with a greasy mess on my cabinets and ceiling above the microwave every time my wife uses the fan when she fries things on our stove. I know I have the right charcoal filter too as I have verified that numerous times. What a...

I am a full time RV'er which means space and function are of prime importance. I purchased this microwave to replace a 10 yr old unit.It is very stable and fit into the built in microwave holder without any problems. The controls are easy to use and it cooks very even. I have had it for 6 months and it definitely works well in a mobile situation.

This GE Profile "over-the-range' Microwave is the best one we've ever had. It is quiet, it heats fast and evenly, it is easy to keep clean, and it is very good-looking. I have never had any kind of problem with it. The vent-fan also is very efficient!

This microwave fit perfectly in place of the old one. It heats food quickly. Has a nice surface light for lighting up the stove cooking area. It has been installed for about six months and is working well.

Well I have owned 2 Kenmore microwave ovens,the first one lasted 10 years in perfect conditions,never had a problem with it,I changed it because I think it already time for a new one,the one I have now its great,I love it,it has some type of sensor that know when the food is done,I think that is so cool.I have Had it for a couple of months now,I would recommend Kenmore products to everyone....
