This is my 3rd carpet shampooer, and (by far) the best. Easy to fill, easy to use, lightweight and thorough! As a volunteer for a local animal rescue, I am constantly cleaning up muddy pawprints and other (yuckier) stains on the carpet, and the performance of this particular shampooer is awesome. It was my Christmas present to me, and with the great price that I got at K-mart, it didn't bust my budget! I first took my Hoover Max Extract on a "test run", about a week after I had used my old, worn out shampooer (a 20 year old model). I could not believe how much dirt that I got out of the carpet. I probably shouldn't admit this, but I kept the dirty water in the toilet to show my husband when he came home from work. Judging by the brown nasty water that I poured into the bowl, it looked like I hadn't shampooed my carpet in six months, rather than 6 days. What a difference! Even hubby was impressed, and he doesn't often comment on such things. The carpet smelled so clean and fresh......

i'd seen infomercials and ads for the shark mops for months before finally getting my own! i was sort of expecting to be let down as i had been with many other "excellent mops" however i was and still am very pleasantly surprised by just how powerful this safe, non-toxic cleaner is!!! i have 2 children and pets, i don't like the idea of using chemicals around them. this is perfect! i don't have to worry about chemicals or those uneven looking streaks on my floor! i absolutely love this mop and would buy another in a heart beat if this one ever gave out on me. i've had it for 2 years and it's still just as powerful and reliable today as it was the very first time i used it! this mop is amazing! you must go out and buy a shark steam mop!!!!...

I have been using my Shark Steam Pocket mop for over a year & it is the best. Don't have to worry w/cleaners or chemicals. The steam does it all. Replacment pads are very durable. I have just replace them after a year of use.

I love this cleaner. I previously owned and used a Shark steam cleaner. It never really cleaned my floors that well and broke after only a couple of years of use. I bought this cleaner because it was a different brand and could be used as a floor or hand held cleaner. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I used it on my floors on how well it worked in comparison to my old Shark cleaner. Really got up lot's of dirt the pad was covered in dirt when I finished. Not so with the my old Shark steamer. The hand held is easy to use and comes with two attachments for all kinds of cleaning. I would recommend this cleaner to anyone.

I LOVE this hand held vacuum - really powerful. I use it on our carpeted stairs. It says it's great for pet hair, even though we have no pets, its a great vacuum for small jobs that need cleaning instead of having to get out the regular large vacuum cleaner. It's handy to hold, powerful pick up , and a great great buy for the price. I could not live without this item, I'm so enjoying the size and the power of the little machine. It's great for cleaning up the kitchen floor after the grandkids are over, or for any small clean up. I'm very impressed with the power that it has - it was a great buy, and I find it a very outstanding item to have. My carpeted stairs look amazing as I can get into the corners really easy. Its' a great little machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, it's very easy to dump out the receptacle container!!!!

OMG a machine that really does what it says, Quick setup and easy to use, cleans it all short and high carpet areas and lifts out stains too. I;ll be using this a few times per year and save all that rental unit money because this works just as good. A great price with Sears warranty was what sold me and the demo at the store was right on the spot which he removed while I watched,, demo's just don;t any better, now get on down to Sears for your demo and you;ll be sold just like me. The Hoover name has always had very good products and have honored the warranties over the years. I own several Hoover products and will not consider another brand at this stage in my life.

We just purchased this and used it for the first time 2/1/12. We are both impressed with it's ease of use, and results. We have an apartment and the rugs haven't been cleaned for 3 years. They look brand new. For the price we couldn't have asked for more. I didn't give it 5 stars only because it's a little heavier than I would have liked. My husband says it has to be this heavy for the brushes to push down into the carpet.

I would not recommend this product AT ALL!!! I tried it out a few times, but when I really needed it was broken after just a handful of uses. It costs almost as much as a new one to fix, too. It is just a waste of money.

Needed a new vacuum so went to several department stores but saw what we wanted at Sears. The Electrolux Canister Vacuum was on sale so we decided to try it out. WOW! We had been using a Hoover Bagless WindTunnel for over 10 years and were pleased (didn't seek out that brand/model for a replacement because we had to replace parts many times-the plastic parts kept cracking!) This Electrolux is MUCH more powerful even though it's smaller. It gets more dust and hair (we have cats) than the other vac ever did! It actually raises the nap so that you have a plush feel when walking on the rugs. So... cleans throughly, empties with the push of a button, very easy to manuver (the power head swivels-that was a surprise) and am really liking the orange color! You cannot go wrong with this model if you're looking for an all purpose vacuum.

I also have a Dyson and the Kompressor far out cleans the Dyson. I couldn't believe what came out of my carpet and I had just vacuumed! I was interested in the Kompressor for awhile but couldn't justify purchasing another expensive vacuum cleaner. My back has been bothering me and I decided I didn't want to haul a vacuum cleaner up and down the stairs. The Dyson is downstairs but the Kompressor is the key living area cleaner!...
