Forums are loaded with complaints of this problem.  I had to keep the top panel of the machine loose all the time so when the code popped up I could reach in and wiggle the connectors on the circuit board.  It would work fine for a few loads then back to wiggling connectors.  I did come across a forum recommendation, and I also see his review here, to solder the contacts.  I did this and had no problems for about a year. Now we are getting the error again.  Wiggling the connectors doesn't seem to have any effect.  I will probably have to purchase a new control board, around $200 (who knows how long it will last) or just give-up on Kenmore washers and get a better designed brand.</p> <p> </p> <p>Worst part of this is the Maytag washer I gave to a friend is still working with no issues at 16 years old.</p>... Absoutely love this washing machine! Cleans super well. We have the matching dryer stacked on top and have lots more room in our laundry room. Very quiet, spins clothes almost dry. Has so many features I will probably never use them all. Love those options! It's all digital, fun to set the way you want to wash each load. Plays a jingle when it's done or you can set it to be silent when done. If you throw in something that is going to cause it to become unbalanced it knows it and self adjusts the load, got a brain of it's own. Washing clothes couldn't be easier. Never had a front loader before.  This washer is so much more convenient and efficient in so many ways.  I had reservations about buying high efficiency due to need to buy certain detergents.  The detergent is not more expensive and it uses so much less, it really saves money.  The clothes come out really nice.  I like the gentle cycle -works great with jerseys.  I have never seen my clothes look so good coming out of a washer.  I love the sanitize and the bedding options also.  This washer is a must have!</p>... This machine is supposed to be energy efficient and is far from it. I had to wash my clothes twice every load and then run it through the rinse cycle. It destroyed my good work clothes. I used next to nothing in detergent. The machine constantly left white marks and film all over my clothes. Some items were not even wet when the cyle went through the complete cycle. I went to Sears several times and complained to my salesperson and he told me everytime it was whirlpools problem not sears. I called a Sears serviceman out and he ran diagnostics on the machine and said everything was fine. This machine is junk...I work with a women who purchased this same machine because of **************** review, she also hates the machine. My friend has the same washer and she hates this machine. We all have the same complaints. We are all contacting Whirlpool and the Better Business...</p>...
