I didn't find that this made any difference once my washer started to develop a musty smell. However, 1/2 cup Borax in every wash load made a world of difference. I can cut my detergent in half and never have any musty smell in my front load Samsung washer....

I purchased the new Samsung HE Frontloading Washer/Dryer Set. So glad the salesperson suggested the pedestals. Yes, I spent a little on them, but they were well worth it. I don't have to bend to get laundry out of the machines, & I also have a great storage space for items. They are solidly built, & the height is perfect. Thanks for the suggestion.

We learned recently that changing hoses out periodically is recommended in order to keep lime and calcifications from getting into the washer's components. Our old hoses certainly were pretty full of buildup. These new hoses are reinforced and well-crimped, but sufficiently flexible to make installation easy. The price was very reasonable too.

Pedestals are great for people that have a hard time bending to load and unload items from washer to dryer.

This item really works. If your wsher & dryer is in the basement this remote monitor will display the same numbers as the display on the front of your washer or dryer. It will save countless trips to the basement to determine if your laundry is finished. A real plus is avoiding wainting times between loads because you now know exactly when your washer or dryer has completed its cycles.

The product does NOT match the photo. The store did not contact me - I was near by so I went to store after waiting for 2 weeks. The kit did not came in a box at all. It was in an opened plastic bag when the customer rep found it. He was very helpful. The rectangle connector shown in the product photo is NOT there. In it's place was a cheap metal connector that does not fit properly. At the end, I did not use it. I am not very happy with the product. Stay AWAY from it. I will file a complaint with Sears and will ask for a partial refund.

I use this product on a monthly basis because it freshen my washer very nicely. I recomend Affresh to any one with a H.E. washer. I also found it cheaper at sears than at several other retailers.

We had our front-loading Kenmore washer and steam dryer for about a year...they sit very low to the floor....we decided to add the pedestals. It was the best decision ever. We have one in red and one in blue! No more bending over to use the washer and dryer. Lot's of storage space, too! Great product! A little pricey but worth the advantages. We found ours at the Sears Outlet for less money.

We have used Ultra Plus for several years and recently decided to try another brand. Believe me, as soon as the new brand is gone, we're back to Ultra Plus! There's just no comparison.

Results and price are both superior to the newer "name" brand. We'll stick with Ultra from now on!

We own two of these pedestals..one on the washer and one on the dryer. They are great to raise the height of the washer and dryer for easier access to them, but the fronts keep falling off. The plastic pins that are used to mount these with are not very sturdy, so they either break or just will not hold. They need to come up with a better way to attach the fronts. If you use the adhesive that comes with them, then you have problems when you have to remove the front panel to access under the appliances.

I had stains inside my washer... presumably rust, though I'm not sure... and was hesitant to use a rust remover for fear that it would eat away the finish. I saw this at and figured it was worth a shot. The first bottle (yes, you have to use an entire bottle each time, so buy at least two) took 90% of it out. The second removed it all. Money well spent...my washer looks great inside. Will always keep a bottle on hand now. Buy this stuff without hesitation.
