I have only had this cooler for a few months. At first I thought it was great. Then it started thumping and the motor became louder. Then it started leaking. Couldn't find any info on the product online. No response from the company when emailed. When I was finally able to talk to a real person, I was told I would have to return it. What a pain! And a waste of my time, money and energy. Spend your money elsewhere....

Too bad the divertors last less than a year. I have 3 units with broken divertors, they want $50 for the part. I paid about that for the complete unit. Any ideas where to get a deal on the divertor?

To those of you who know nothing of water filtration or the widely varying techniques used to filter it. Fist note at the bottom of the description it says the filtration is cosmetic. This means it removes setiment, it obviously has carbon in it since people are having issues with carbon permeation. It would be great if Sears actually told you in the video the mechanisms used in the filtration process, Also don't be fooled by the reviewer who states that Reverse Osmosis wastes 2 gallons of water for each gallon of useable water. This simply isn't true with the newer models and definitely not true with other types of filtration. Not to mention this system back flushes, which means it also wastes water. Second an RO unit removes setiment, salt, chlorine, lead and many many other unwanted contaminates this unit DOES'T. Most likely this unit is using Coconut husk coated with carbon which is why it continues to leach carbon into the water and why people are reporting their water still tastes...

My friend recommended this slickdeals.net and so when I tried to purchase the product it said as $8.99 and then when used with the Coupon codes it landed to 15.23 and there was no availability for store pick up even the Kmart is 4miles away from my place. Even though the store pick option was given by them. Wasted time in buying instead its good buying from *******, Sams or any other store.

I have a prefilter as well but I keep having problems with the Nozzle and Venturi getting clogged. Once this happens the system can not draw the Potassium Permaganate into the resin bed. This is not covered by the warranty and is hard to detect by the casual user. I feel this is a main flaw because the nature of the water this filter is designed to clean cloggs the nozzle and venturi.It also seems that once clogged the venturi cloggs quicker and quicker causing the filter to fail.If there has been a redesign of this issue I would love to be informed.

So far so good. I worry that the lever to turn the filter on and off is going to last - seems like it could potentially snap off easily with a lot of use. Will update if I have any problems. :)

I had a ISE hot water dispener and the tank sprung a leak. I decided to replace the hot water dispenser with a water filtering system. Upon inspecting the water filtering system I found the dispenser to be made of plastic and the mounting using two toggle bolts to be very poorly engineered. I decided to use the existing hot water dispenser and adapt it to the water filters. After under sink installation I found the filtering part to be excellent and it works fine. The drinking water dispenser provided is trouble waiting to happen. Beware!...

I love my new Primo top load water dispenser!
