Battery Replacement!!! There is a replacement battery available for the DieHard Portable Power 1150 (Model # 200.71988) from www.searspartsdirect.com (Phone #: 1-800-252-1698).

As per the last page on the user manual you can order a Replacement Battery Kit: (Part # 2299001766). I ordered one today for $70 plus $13 shipping and tax. A lot less than replacing the entire unit. Unfortunately, all deep cycle rechargeable batteries have a limited life span and will need to be replaced eventually. I initially had difficulty getting the information to order the replacement battery, as I assume has been the problem with others, in that the 1150 description on the device is not the true model number. Rather the searspartsdirect website and personnel at the toll free number can locate the replacement battery only if you use the manufacturer model number (Model # 200.71988) located on the device in very small print or the part number (Part # 2299001766) for the battery kit. It's totally junk! It will not start a battery that's 50% drained. I would recomment ES5000.

The battery in my Nissan Xterra went kaput. I went down to my local Sears to see which battery would fit my vehicle. I believe there were a few options. I wanted the most Cold Cranking Amps for the winter months and a good battery replacement. I am pleased with the battery and would highly recommend to anyone. Great value.

I bought this mainly to jump start a car that I keep garaged most of the year and to blow up tires, etc. It has more than enough power to jump start the car and then some. It actually was running the car since the car battery had gone bad. I had jump started the car 3 times and ran it for about a half hour or so and it still had 70% of its power left. I was very impressed. The air compressor blew up the tires in a matter of seconds. Which I thought was amazing for a portable unit. The work light is nice and bright and I like the fact that you can check the power supply left at any given point too. I have not had the chance to use the other features but I'm sure they will be just as imressive.

Very good battery for my suv. No hard starts in cold weather. A little pricy to start but worth the money.

Have an older model car, go camping, take this with you. Inflate your inflatables, pump your tire, charge your phone in the woods. Handy to have a long on a day at the beach or lake....

This unit works when fully charged, but then won't hold a charge more than a few days when stored. It makes a horrible high pitched noise until it finally charges again - anybody know how to make it stop the noise.

this is my second unit and neither usb works. the usb out only produces 4.5 volts. my first unit just stopped working for no apparent reason. just leaving on the unit drains my rv batteries even when no load is attached. the wattage readout is totally inaccurate. i can run a 5watt fish pump from my old 100watt inverter for 2-3 days before recharging my batt, when i use this diehard the battery is drained within 3-5 hours. too bad cause the 100watt version works great.

I got mine last fathers day, a little over a year ago. I used it to charge my phone and jump the lawnmower a few times. I've got it on charge right now and it shows 100. I can take it straight out to the lawnmower right now and it wont jump the lawnmower. Dont even think about jumping a truck or tractor. Piece of junk. Big name no satisfaction. Recall please
