Very happy with these shocks on my sedan. A while back, I purchased the light truck versions for my Toyota and was very satisfied. When it came time for a new battery at Sears..my car needed schocks as well so I went with these. Why go with another brand? When Sears guarantees all their work and they gave me a great price point on these too. So far they really have given my sedan a smoother ride. Would recommend.

Many years ago I read articles raving about the superiority of Rancho shocks and after placing some on my vehicle I had to agree altogether.

Rancho is a name not in the mainstream speech of ordinary car and truck owners because they were born on the racetrack...the offroad racetrack. If you have ever seen on T.V. those super sleek and lightweight trucks that race cross country through the desert than you have witnessed where Rancho was born.

These shocks are heavier in construction than average and are today meant to handle 4 wheel drive applications and off road racing with superior strength. Any custom off road vehicle may very well have Rancho suspension and maybe even bushings and other Rancho components, each being superior to other brands. That is not to say a person could not get them for installation on their everyday vehicle but Rancho is limited in what vehicles they design for.

I just left FSK Mall. I purchased shocks all the way around for my 1996 Land Rover Discovery I. These shocks ride great. On the highway, the city streets, & off road. I went thru each on my way home. The price was great & the performace is excellent. Way to go Sears.

Look good. Will they fit? Every Rancho shock had the same vague description. Are these for the front or rear? They are different on my truck. Auto anything.com has a great website, higher prices, but you know what you will get.

Very good performance, have used them for years. The product information is misleading - you have to put the red accordion boots on yourself, and it is very difficult! My hands hurt for a week....

I ordered 2 kits for my '05 Honda Civic SI, and when i opened one of the kits, the parts inside were scratched up because they weren't bagged. Also, this kit apparently is designed by Eibach to be used on quite a few different vehicles, so there is an extra square shaped washer included with each bolt that doesn't get used on the Civic SI. I had to call Eibach directly to confirm this, as I thought I had been shipped the wrong part. Other than these issues, the parts seem about the same as other brands, I'm just going to have to wait for warmer weather to install them...

I JUST GOT BACK FROM THE SEARS AUTOCENTER AT THE DEDHAM MALL. WHAT A DIFFERENCE THESE SHOCKS MAKE,I COULDED BELIEVE THE RIDE HOME. I WAS THINKING OF PUTING THIS OFF FOR A WHILE, I`M GLAD I GOT THIS DONE. THE INSTALLATION WAS FREE,A PROMOTIONAL THING AND THEY HAD TO BE BACK ORDERED { THEY WERE OUT OF STOCK} BUT I`LL TELL YOU THE RIDE WAS WORTH THE WAIT. I DRIVE AN OLDER CAR 1991 CAPRICE BUT IT DRIVES LIKE I`M SITTING IN MY LIVEING ROOM!...
