I purchased this TV a few weeks ago and I just love it. The color and sound are wonderful. If is easy to set up. It offers all of the needed A/V outlets. The picture is clear and crisp. This TV even offers a Eco mode to save electricity. The TV is also internet enabled.

We dont have cable or dish, but we use the DVD player often, but is not used constantly, it is not too big or too small, the remote is smaller than other remotes we had, its cute. So far it is working good but of course at the price we purchased it for cant expect it to work like an expensive DVD player.

Bought this tv for my kids room love the dvd combo no need for the extra dvd player. Picture is clear and sound is great. The price is exceptional and the warrenty was reasonably priced for 2 years I paid more at another retailer...

My son uses this dvd player daily!! As a car or to watch his favorite movie and for him it's easy to use, from changing the disc to pause and play. He turned 4 in early December and got it for Christmas and just loves it!! It goes everywhere he goes, except school but if it could fit in his pocket, it would. I'm happy w the design and it holds to be drops and any other occasional oops....

This is a quality DVD player for the price that performs all the necessary, basic functions. The only drawback is that it does not have a connection for a HDMI cable. I have a Wii gaming system, and every time I want to watch a DVD, I have to disconnect the Wii A/V cables in order to connect the DVD cables. My previous DVD player had HDMI capabilities, so I was able to have both devices plugged in simultaneously.

After trying two other players before getting this Sony, I feel very fortunate that the other two untis were defective resulting in my deciding to puchase this player. This unit is very sleek and very attractive on the entertainment center. I like that it was really simple to set up out of the box so I was able to start enjoying it immediately. The remote control is also very user friendly. But most impressive was the quality of the video image. After all thats, why I bought the thing. I love it and would highly recomment it over the cheaper lesser known brands. I tried those first. Its internal menus are very loaded with options, but Im a simple play and watch guy. You won't be disappointed with this one.

Purchaser my unit at KMart on sale for $34.99. It was a great looking unit out of the box, very sleek and nice design for the entertainment center. After I got it hooked up, I inserted my first DVD movie. The picture quaity was great for a moment. The video kept going to a blank screen and then it would come back in. This happened on various dvds with both HDMI and composite hookup. After a few days of this, it finally started playing through the entire movie with no hiccups. I finally thought it was a keeper. Then it started displaying a large green streak across the screen with little small dancing pixels of light on the screen. I couldn't get that one to go away so I took it back after twoo weeks of ownership. I was reluctant to try another one so I let them keep it. It could have just been a bad unit but since I didn't want to try another one for myself, I can not honestly recommend it to anyone else.

I purchased this unit and used it for about two weeks before having to return. It was a very sleek and good looking unit out the box. I really liked the potential is offered. Upon hooking it up and attempting to watch my first DVD, the first thing I noticed was that the video kept going blank during playback. I tried several of my dvds with the same result. After a while, the playback kind of stablized and I was able to watch a full dvd movie with no interruptions. This lasted until recently there appeared a long green streak across my screen with little dancing pixels of lights across the top of it. This did not go away and that was the end of our relationship. I took it to KMart and purchased one of the Sony unit and now I'm enjoying my movies as they should be. Since I was reserved about trying another one for myself, I certainly wouldn't recomment this one for anyone else,

VCR & DVD plays as expected. On screen programming and remote are from 20 years ago. Not at all instinctive. Had to read manual to do anything. Unfortunately, this was the only VCR I could find. There is no tuner so you cannot record directly from cable....
