I bougt this as a replacement camera system and found it to be user friendly. it was the easiest to use and setup that I bought two more.

I bought this system from Sears on-line for $699.00. A day later it was on sale for $449.00. Sears took care of it for me. I did a lot research on line and chose Revo because they are an American company and their system works with Windows 7 and explorer 9,and also, I called their Tech support with a bunch of questions before I bought this system and they were great .

Installation was easy. All the cameras are easy to adjust as far pointing them where you want. It seems they put a lot of thought into the mounts to make them as easy as possible for the installer. Just plug them in to the back of the DVR and they work The night vision is pretty darn good. A lot better than expected. I'd say about 25 feet in total darkness. I will say that the bullet cams seem a lot clearer than the dome cams. I find them kind of grainy but ok.

The system I bought doesn't come with a monitor so keep in mind you will need to have one (or a tv) and supply your own Ethernet , VGA and RCA cables. My biggest...

I am an IT tech and I have tried no less than 8 different systems. I have used computer based and stand alone like the Revo. NONE OF THEM COME CLOSE TO REVO !

The biggest problem with all of the systems is getting them ready to be viewed online via another computer or a smart phone. With Revo's tech support, which has always answered my call within 5 min.,

Another big deal is the translation of any of the documentation. In EVERY other case the "Chinenglish" was impossable to figure out. With Revo the translation is near perfect.

Camera quality, cable ease of use and DVR ease of use and setup are fantastic!

If I could give it 6 stars I would!

Bought this system about a month ago when my old system crashed.Thought I could use the old cameras, same plug type. But they didn't work. New camera's work great. Easy to wire up, basiclly plug and play. A little confusing to get the internet to work, called support and within 15 minutes walked me through the setup on the computer and my I-phone. So now I can see what is going on anytime I want from my phone. The picture looks good at regular viewing, but gets pretty fuzzy when you zoom. Easy to search history and view. Web site is capable of setting up multiple sites and viewing 64 cameras at once. For the price I think it is a great deal. Sears had the best price on the net....

I have a couple of these which I use to power various ethernet connected devices that aren't near power outlets (ip cameras). So far no problems. The longest run of cable I have is about 100 feet. Works fine. Anyway, it isn't universal (PoE is tricky) so be sure to check for compatibility with your intended end device beforeb buying.

I bought this camera because I have a child care and live on the second floor. The picture during the day is very clear. The picture at night is a little grainie. It's a great little security camera for the price. Some of my neighbors have been broken into but the camera is visable and I feel this is the reason I have not had any trouble. Easy to install.

This system is great, Easy set up just plug it in and turn it on. nightvision works great, Motion detector starts capturing video or photos almost instantly to your computer or VCR etc if attached to TV. However the camera shown is not for use outdoors according to the instruction manual supplied by uniden. They do sell an outdoor camera seperatly or a system that comes with 2 outdoor cameras. happened across this item while searching for a camera which apparently K-mart doesn't carry. found a refurbished one on ***** for $58 most of other places outdoor camera runs $70-120 New.

The first thing that I have to discuss about this product concerns what is it going to be used for? I imagine that a great number of people are going to use this as a spy camera. This will open the door to a large number of naked girlfriends, wives, sisters, aunts, daughters - need I go on? Honestly, I find the sale of this pen down right scary.

I used it in my business to try and stem some pilfering that was taking place on a regular basis. After watching the first couple of "discrete recordings, I caught the pilferer. Even so, it made me feel cheap, dirty and obscene. I ended up throwing the thing in the garbage. For what it's worth, I feel better about it now.

Technically, the covert camera worked fair. At times it would be set and still not record. Other times, it would not shut off. If I worked for the CIA, I would search for a different brand. For a voyeur, it serves its purpose. Morally, it is my feeling that Sears should not be selling it in the first place. Will they print this...
