I knew about the 2.1 Channel Powered Satellite Speaker System w/ Subwoofer - Teal b/c my sister had one-I almost stole hers, but she told me to get my own. The sound is surprisingly clear & crisp. I have been waiting months to get it at a budget-friendly price. Alas, I found it on Sears.com. This product is not only cute, but it packs a punch! The sound quality is excellent, especially for the price. I got mine for $39.99. My sister's has held up very well-she blasts music from it on a regular basis. I hooked mine up to my ipod. Love it. Seriously, what a deal!
...

Logitech Optical Mouse: much smoother movement than the regular mouse. I normally use a Logitech Marble Mouse (trackball), but was having trouble with mine. I originally went into the store to buy the cheapest mouse I could find, just to plug into my USB port to make sure that the problem was with the mouse and not with the port.

When I saw the Logitech Optical mouse, I was attracted by the Logitech name. Since it could be as long as several weeks before I had another trackball, I decided to spend a few more dollars and get the optical mouse. The movement is smooth enough so that I can play online games without frustration. My preference is for the trackball type, but this is the next best thing.
...

ozpunk says "one thing i couldn't live without is my imac" about Apple iMac All-In-One 20" Desktop Computer

since owning this new imac i would never go back to a pc, i highly recommend this product to anyone. If you remember the old days when macs looked so complicated you should be aware that these days they are so simple to use just like windows on a pc.

great product you dont have to worry about viruses and problems.

also the imac has everything preinstalled that you need unlike pc that comes with virtually nothing installed.

The imac also holds its price unlike pc which go down in price as time goes on.

if you want a computer that will last as well as hold its value buy an imac!
...

I am 56 yrs. old and I think that the Logitch Cordless Optical mouse is going to be just what my best friend needs for his computer. He has big hands and this mouse is large enough that it should fit his hands just right. I will write back 6 months from now and give you and update on how well it is. Thank you for making this a painless shopping trip. The salesperson was helpful and I felt the price was fair. If it cost less I would of worried about its worth. Again thank you for carrying what I needed. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year....

The Chumby

I use Pandora to stream music and they had a link for this little WiFi device. You can click yourself and see what it can do at chumby.com

Basically it can take any web widget you are using or want and display it in any room in your house - bedroom, kitchen, garage. You can stream music, display photos, see weather forecasts, stock ticker or should I say falling stock ticker, etc.

I haven't ordered one yet, but figure it will be on my Christmas list. If you own one I'd love to hear your review too.
...

This computer has more capabilities than I ever expected, and have learned to use most of them. This is the second Acer PC I have purchased. Far superior to the Gateway I once had. I have really been very impressed with the Acer products, and would highly recommend them to others. Enjoy your new computer!...

Just got a Dell XPS additional to a few other Dell's we have and own. Dell has been top of the line. My "crew" here love to game it and the XPS will operate MOST games. I got this one for my husband who doesn't really know a whole lot pertaining to computers but he surely does love it. Myself.....it is one of the top of the line computers....

I've had the IBM NetVista 6832 for many years now, which is based on the 1.3 GHz Intel Pentium IV. It was a good deal in its day, but is definately dated now... It came with the odd "RAMBUS" memory which is a bit of a concern when trying to find memory to upgrade (you have to use "blank" memory modules in unused slots for this memory). The system board uses Phoenix BIOS, and has onboard business audio, 2 IDE, 1 floppy, and 4 USB 1.0 slots, plus 4 PCI slots (1 is taken by ethernet adapter, 1 for modem)...plus one AGP video card. It came with a CD-ROM drive, which I've since replaced with a DVD burner. It also came with Windows ME, which I had lots of problems with (not specific to this PC) and later installed XP on it.

The system was good for its time, but of course now seems dated, but I still use it. It has been very reliable (especially compared to the laptops I've had, several IBM Thinkpad and my current HP DV6110US), the only repair I've had to do to it was to replace...
...

ScruffysMom says "Customer service is a joke" about Dell Dimension E521 Desktop Computer

I bought a Dell for my church secretary's office. Tried to do it online but had a problem with the price quoted the church and the actual price, so I called. I was told that the higher price was the only one offered so I placed the order. We discussed the fact that a church is tax-free and I sent over a copy of our tax resale sheet.

The computer arrived and the invoice had added tax. I called and said that this was a tax-free purchase and that I had sent over the paperwork. Customer service could not understand the tax-free concept and said she would see that I got the correct paperwork faxed to me. I paid the entire invoice except for the tax.

Some days passes and the church received an invoice for the tax and interest on the tax. I called again to straighten out the tax situation and was told that they did not have the correct paperwork - they would fax over the correct papers for me to fill out. They sent the same paper that I had already furnished them twice.

This goes on for weeks....
...

ddupmul says "So good, I bought two!" about Apple Mac Mini desktop computer

I got the Intel Mac Mini as a birthday present when it first came out with the Intel processor. I use it for everything. It's great because it is sooooo quiet (it replaced a noisy PowerMac G4), and yet has the power to handle lots of concurrent tasks.

I recently purchased a second one, that I use for a media computer connected to our TV. We're currently living in an area without much TV service, but I can podcast my favorite programs to fill in the void. It comes with Front Row software (all Macs do) and a remote, so it's easy to setup. All I needed was a DVI to video adaptor from Apple ($19.95) and I've got a media machine!

It does run a little hot when in it's normal position, but it easily stands on it's side and stays plenty cool, even here in the Caribbean.
...

Just as Mighty Mouse saved the day back in the golden years of cartoons, Apple's Mighty Mouse will save your day with its ease of use with your Apple computer. Bluetooth enabled, no longer is your mouse tied to a wire and with its mini-track ball, you can navigate pages and content with a slide of the tip of your finger. The only complaint as a track ball lover, the mini-back only scrolls up and down and does not have the full mouse moving capability of a true track ball. On the whole, it liberates you from your computer desk and allows you, with the Apple Wireless Keyboard, to control your computer from anywhere in the room. As William Wallace said in "Braveheart", "Freedom!"
...

I took out the norton antivirus and put in mcafee with my own virus protection and i have not had any problems, so if anyone doesnt like vista and is still looking for xp go to dell and let them build your computer for you. ...
