This mission style tv stand looks very polished. My two sons worked together to put the unit together, and I heard them laughing the whole time, so it was not overwhelming for them. I love the way it looks, and the sliding drawers work smoothly, making it easy to put the instruction booklet and other papers in there. The mahogany color fits well in my room, and looks more expensive than it was. My sons said having the right tools, and going through the assembly step-by-step made the process easier than other "assembly required" projects they've worked on before.

classy piece of furniture. sturdy and will last forever! doors, drawers & not overly 'distressed'. original discription says distressed. this characterist is visible up close, but not too much. glad it isn't. the drawer slides are super,very smooth and quiet. more storage room in drawers and doors than anticipated. although it took about 4 hours to put together, the intruction sheet was easy to follow. exterior is made entirely of real wood, so it's very heavy. a bit darker than appears in picture, but blends well with all other wood in my room. this is superior to anything i found in the many furniture stores i went to. absolutely thrilled that I took the chance of ordering something online that had to be assembled....

i purchased this item for our new flat screen television because it was on sale for 60.00 and i didn't want to go on a spending frenzy. i went into the purchase thinking it would be a cheaply made particle board stand that i'd be upset about spending even just 60.00 on, boy was i pleasantly suprised to find out i couldn't have been any more wrong! this item is easy to assemble, and the directions are very simple to follow! the finish is beautiful and it looks modern, with simple and clean lines. it's also sturdy and the parts and hardware fit together perfectly. the only "complaint" that i have (and it's more of a tip than a complaint) is that you have to be careful when hammering the nails in and you also have to be careful when putting the pieces together, because you run the risk of chipping the finish with your tools and/or the screws and nails. so being very careful with assembly is a must--my husband chipped the stand in 2 visible places with the screwdriver (using too much force......

This entertainment stand is really very nice. I have it in my bedroom and does not take up much space. It is well built and sturdy. It has lots of room inside for a DVD Player, Cable or Satellite box, and DVD storage. The price was great also. It took about one hour to assemble without any problems. I would highly recommend buying this item, I am glad I purchased it.

Like others have said, it takes a lot of time to put together. BUT, the parts are absolutely precision-engineered, so everything fits together perfectly. It is a beautiful piece of furniture.

Two improvements I would recommend:

1) Label the parts with peel-off stickers, so we know what part the directions are talking about.

2) Make the holes in the back a little bigger (the holes where all the cords go through).

Pleasantly surprised over this stand - as all parts were included, nicely marked and the option of standing the TV on the stand or mounting to attachable arms or mount to the wall with included universal wall mount unit (non adjustable) was great - and at the price, very nice!

This piece of furniture fits nicely into a corner or middle of a room. Keeps flat screen TV at a reasonable height. Nice color and finish. Was easy to assemle, but may require a second pair of hands for a few portions.

On the downside, there is quite a bit of wasted space in the side shelves. Those shelves are only as deep to where the back starts to taper in (too keep the shelf square). I would have preferred they go all the way to the back and let me decide how to use the non-square portion. The particle board that makes up the cabinet is sturdy enough for our use at home, but typically does not survive a move very well.

Overall, you get a nice cabinet for a reasonable price.

I order the picture, shelving & received hangers. Cannot store dvd, cd & videos on a hanger. This site needs fixing. Also the description is the measurements for the picture. Should be zero stars....

The shipment is over a hundred pounds, but once you get it in the door it is wonderful! The instructions are detailed, but easy to follow, and the finished product is solid and sturdy.
