I would recommend this if you were more interested in playing cd's than listening to the radio. I listen to the WBBM AM news station every morning and afternoon and that station comes in very good. One country station comes in somewhat well as long as you are not standing near the player ... but as I said if you just want to listen to your favorite cd's it's a very nice system. I have it under my kitchen cabinet ... it takes up very little space without using any precious counter space and it was fairly easy to install. I use it every day.

I purchased one iLive stereo system, despite the poor review. Got it home and it was missing parts. Returned it and had to get a raincheck for another. When it was available, I went to the store, the associate opened the sealed box and all parts were there. Bought this one. Got it home, plugged in and programmed. The CD player did not work. Did my best to get it to work. Not happening. So, I will return this one as well and not waste my time on this product again. Save yourself time and money and don't bother with this item.

Great value and sound quality for a mid priced Blu-ray surround. Set up in a 20 X 24 living room and sound fills room nicely - good base sound that you can feel. Will not blow you out of the room, but if that is what you are looking for you will pay a lot more to get it. Purchased to complement my Panasonic TV and use only one remote which is nice. Only negative comment would be the DVD tray is a little flimsy. My stereo cabinet door bumped it while the tray was opening and jammed the tray. Sears was super to work with and replaced it under the 30 day warranty period - highly recommend you buy from Sears!

I bought it and opened it out of the box and right away my remote did not work, called company and they would not do anything for me.... at least K-Mart let me exchange it for a Sony... a little more money but well worth it... also the display was not a very good quality, guess you really get what you pay for.

I bought this for my husband's birthday (although was a great gift for me as well). We had a decent collection of albums (from when we were teens) in our basement. I purchased this one because of the ability to record albums and cassetts to CD. It works great. Very easy to use. I actually had tears in my eyes listening to the first album we played. The sound is good and would recommend this to anyone who has a record collection. Also, nice to know it's made in the good old US

wow this is a great little system i love that its small but sounds big i added a 73'' tv and it's like the movies every night. it is the best system i have had the only thing i would change is when you turn it on it doesnt remember your last input like cable or blu-ray. other than thats its awsome and you can add the wiresless setup for your rear speakers....

I wanted an inexpensive home theater system, and this fit the bill. On Sale at $99, I think it met my expectations. It doesn't have the power or the sound quality that some people demand, but it is sufficient for my needs. I you want a high quality sound system then peel out several more hundred bucks. I have owned this unit for two years now, and have not had any problems.

After reading the reviews from several websites I went ahead and bought these. I even asked the very nice salesman if they would work with a plasma tv and he said yes.

Well, they don't. Only got static noise. Whe I returned them the salesman said I might have had them too close to the tv but I didn't. It was the plasma thing.

I visited with other website chats and was told I needed RF, not IF. We'll see.

Bottom line, if you have a plasma tv, these are not going to work for you.

One additional comment... the headset had a spring loaded over-the-head adjustment. Once you get them on your ears where they should be they start creeping up.

I purchased this samsung home theater system in Thanksgiving 2011. I enjoys this system. It has 3D Blueray playing capability in full 1080 HD with 1000W sound output.

Very easy to set up. Set all six speakers as per music room set up shown in manual, did music room calibration using microphone provided with the system. This system says it has built in WIFI but you have to buy either samsung wifi adapter or use ether net connection. I used ethernet connection to connect to internet. This system has smart hub which displays all apps available on samsung website. I enjoy using You Tube, HULU , VUDU and Amazon Videos.

I also enjoy FM radio as well as IPOD music using IPOD Dock comes with this system. Overall nice experience.,

Works wonderful I get 20+ channels, for free! I have an RCA converter on a different TV and only get 11 channels. The remote is small but works great and the added bonus of the guide if very helpful. Would highly recomend and would purchase again.

Bought this player in December 2011. Have used it to watch 3 dvd's. Sounds like an old tractor trying to start its engine!!! Won't play blu-ray's at all. Called LG; they suggest taking it back to the store I purchased it from and have given me a laundry list of things necessary for THEM to do any warranty work on it. There are FAR better products available for around the same price. I will NEVER purchase anything made by LG again.
