KatiriaC says "cute and useful" about Scotch donut tape dispenser

When I first saw the scotch donut shaped tape dispenser, I had to have it. it is the cutest thing! They come in all sorts of cool colors, blue , purple, pink! I love them all. The tape is inside a donut shape. It is the cleverest thing! It's a tape dispenser in a unique shape. Perfect for school and home. I think the person who designed it deserves a prize. Its nice to have something that is "office supply" but doesn't look like it. It looks like a toy, so your desk doesn't seem so somber and drab! It's such a great idea. And its got a smooth feel to it. I swear it's kind of therapeutic to hold it.
...

Franceeesco says "Very 'meh' erasable highlighter" about Pilot Frixion Erasable Highlighter

For a long time I've been wishing for an erasable highlighter. You can erase pencil, you can cross out pen errors. But how on earth can you correct a highlighting error? Yesterday I thought I'd hit the jackpot when I found a three-pack of Frixion Erasable Highlighters by Pilot. A highlighter with magic invisible ink that disappears when you rub it? AWESOME!

Too bad the reality doesn't live up to the hype. First, it doesn't highlight well. I had to go over each area two or three times to get a bright, even color. Hmm, what's the point of a highlighter that doesn't highlight? Second, while the product leaves toner on the paper where it belongs, it picks up inks and smears them. So don't use it for hand-written ANYTHING.

Overall I'm not too disgusted, because I usually make highlighting errors on printouts, and as I mentioned the friction doesn't pick up toner. So for my uses, the extra effort needed to get good color is worth the convenience of not having to reprint a project......

NatB says "Love 'em! Use them more than the printer!" about 3M Post-It Notes

I love Post-It Notes. They're just the right size (3 X 3 mostly) for what I need "printed out". I tend to use Post-It's more than my printer, 'cause I'm often just needing a tid bit off the computer, not a whole 8.5 X 11 sheet.

There's a 4 X 4 pad around somewhere, in the event I should need more space, but my favorite size is the 3 X 3 size. I have them in all kinds of colors. Best of all, they stick where you put them!...

VictoriousMary says "Paper Mate Pens Rule the World of Writing" about Paper Mate Profile

As much as I love the computer, I write the old fashioned way very often. The only type of pen I ever purchase for myself since my first job a is a Paper Mate. The others just do not have the same feel in my hand and they do not meet the paper with the same grace, ease, and style the way this brand of pen does.

I use them for all my writing needs:

Card and contract signatures

Journal and story writing

Note-taking in class and at meetings

Organizing plans and people's ideas

Phone messages and to do lists

I do not have the neatest handwriting on the face of the earth. So I need all the help I can get. My secretaries all know that they can order whatever they want for themselves but to keep me happy, keep me in my favorite pen. I have often been slipped other brands and can tell the difference immediately. Do yourself a favor and keep it Paper Mate.

...

The item I am reviewing is the White security Envelopes by the Shipping Standard United States Postal Service. They protects the privacy of contents, moisture and water resistant. they even have the peel and stick security seal. It saves a trip the post office....
