Brother has been a name which has extended itself through the past decades. I recall owning a Brother typewriter back in the day.

Now, I own Brother printers and I now understand why their name has been around for what seems to be forever.

This particular model pictures is the Brother HL2070N. To my knowledge, it is still manufactured though the exact model # could now be different as I've owned mine for close to 7 years.

It runs smoothly with my Apple mac-book and has diligently printed everything I've asked it to print: for school, for home, for work. Set up was easy and maintenance has been low on it. Of course there is the changing of the ink/toner and replacing the paper, but that has been the extent of it. I have had to dust the inside with compressed air but that it is a given for any electronic one owns.

The price was amazingly low. The ink/toner does seem pricey but if you shop around you should be able to find it for quite a reasonable price.

I bought this printer, on sale cheap, to replace my kids old printer. It prints such nice pictures I stole it from them and gave them our old one I pain a small fortune for. The ink is a great value too.

I bought this printer after my house burned down and I lost everything. I needed to replace my computer and printer, but I didn't like the printer that came in the package with my new computer. So I went online and searched and found the c140. It fits my needs perfectly. The combined printer, copier, scanner is so useful. My family used this thing every day. We love it. The price of $99.00 was a steal and the cartridges are so affordable, too. I am extremely happy with it.

I've had this printer for about a few years now and have been pleased. The print quality is better than the Canon F20 that it replaced. I love the duplex feature (prints on both sides). Also like the bottom tray paper feeder. I put business envelopes in the bottom tray and set MS Word's mailing/envelope function to print envelopes from the bottom tray automatically. The only bad part about this is you have to make sure it isn't set to do duplex printing when you print on an envelope or it will give an error message. Too bad you can't set the default duplex option based on paper size or source in the printing preferences.

Haven't done a lot of photo printing but we've been satisfied with the few photos we have printed.

The FAX feature works fine for the little bit of FAXing I do from home.

One problem I've had is after clearing a paper jam it prints fine but occasionally makes a grinding noise like plastic gears are grinding. I have to flip the bottom paper feed tray and...

This is a great printer. It seems like it has a brain!! I love it. Have had other printers, but this is one of the best!! Would recommend it immediately!

This is the first time in years that we have tried a different brand of printer from HP. We were pleasantly surprised at the ease with setting up the Lexmark printer. It truly meets our needs. It even duplexes without having to change or move the paper! And as for delivery, we had it two days after it was ordered! Thank you, Sears!...

There are hardly words to explain how easy this machine is to use, how great the quality is, how absolutely perfect my pictures come out, and how much I love it. The toner is affordable and lasts quite a while. I love it, love it, love it and anyone else who purchases one will too. this printer is excellent, easy setup went to hp website for current driver and setup was a snap,chose the driver only and not all the addon software makes for an easy install. the wireless setup was flawless, the printing is the best quality and fastest that I have seen, overall just a great printer, hadnt had good luck with hp printers before so I was pleasently suprised. says refurbished but the thing looks brand new....

The scanning function on this thing takes forever to respond and when you try to use the software to scan it tells you to close the software and press the button on the machine. When you do that it takes about 7mins(and I am not exaggerating) to respond. An absolute waste of money!!!!!...

Would highly recommend this printer for fine are reproduction - Only down side Sears does not carry any of the finer paper nor the ink carts to support this item - still recommend it - they did the price match +10% of the difference as advertised....

Just received the all in one with in couple hours had it set up and running, wireless, bluetooth and USB to my desktop.Setup was clear and easy. Prints out fast and clear. The C7180 is awesome machine...

I have been using this machine for almost 6 months and have had no problems with it. I love the memory card slots - they make working with my digital photos so convenient. The print quality of the printer itself is flawless, the ease of changing ink cartridges is better than any printer so far, and the ink last a long, long time. The speed for printing is great, even in color, and I haven't found any thickness of paper yet it won't handle. I print a lot of pictures on photo paper and they look very professional. This is the best HP printer I have ever owned. As to the scanning function, it scans very quickly and depending on the quality of your original document, the scanned document is of high quality and can be enhanced to make it better than the original....

I have had very good luck with this printer. The printer itself is compact and I was able to put onto a desk with very limited space. I have had no problems with print quality at all. All of my pages printed have been of the best quality and vibrant colors, especially in charts that I have run. The only drawback I have found is a tendency to be slower than some others I have had, I am not sure why - it may be due to the higher quality print. I will take the slower prints for the higher quality....
