I have had one slight problem with credit card fraud, and it made me very privacy conscious. I hoped this shredder would take care of the constant offers for new credit cards I get in the mail. I especially wanted to dispose of the blank checks the credit card companies send me. It balked at even one sheet of paper. I finally gave up coaxing it to work and have gone back to tearing things into small bits.

The Fellowes Strip-Cut Shredder is a good buy for the average home user. I would not recomment this shredder for an office or where large amount of documents need to be shredded all at once.

I made the mistake of buying this shredder twice the first one broke I thought thet maybe the kids did something to it then I brought another one darn if it didn't last long either paper jams almost durning every feeding unless you feed one paper at a time. Who has the time and no there and no kids in the house now. So save your money and buy a better model then this one. And no I don not recommend it it to anyone....

I agree with a previous review. It worked fine for about a yr. Then the auto function failed requiring me to manually turn it on and off when I used it. Eventually paper became all wrapped up in the shred rollers. This lead to the plastic shield to break when the paper built up. For the money I'd pass on this unit....

I have had this shredder only a few days, but found it to work great. It is smaller than I pictured, but fit in my area better than expected. My only complain is it is exceedently noisey. Good thing it is in my home office and not in a commercial setting....

small but amazingly strong paper shredder. i just tried using it a while ago for 3 hours straight and had no problem with it. and it also comes with 3 year warranty which is really cool. also easy to store when not in use. 2 thumbs up....

Small and compact, works great. I didn't want a full trash can shredder, so this one was just was I needed. Easily stored on a shelf when not needed. Works as advertised and haven't had a problem so far (2 months of use). Cheers!...

I used this shredder about 4 times with no more than 3 sheets and it would not function properly. The sheets rapped around the shredding device and you can't cut them all loose. I was not aware that there was anything stuck on the blades until it was too late. I use shredders all day, so I know how to operate them properly. I was just mad that I'd spent almost $50.00 for a shredder and nwas not able to use it....

It only likes to be fed one sheet / three max at any one time. Very slow. Spent more time trying to remove paper that wouldn't go through that I did shredding. Frequently plugged. ....
