I bought two of these after buying my first one! This little radio is the least expensive of its kind, but fulfills every need and every expectation of a more expensive product.

Right out of the box I had to manually set the time and date. Then I programmed the alarms for the next day. It didn't work! The lighted dots indicated that alarms A and B were set, but nothing happened the next day. Also, the battery backup is dead, right out of the box. The manual suggests that I might need to install a fresh battery due to the length of time the radio has been not in use etc. Also, this radio is black and the buttons on the top are hard to see which does what function. I'm taking it back to Sears!

i love pandora and this was a very affordable way to listen to it anywhere in the house - as long as you have wireless. i would highly recommend it.

This is a great gift idea for anyone who has a lot of electronic gadgets. It's good for the environment by keeping batteries out of our landfills. The only drawback is that it doesn't charge other size batteries (C, D, 9-V), etc.

I bought this for my house. I think it is the best sounding clock radio I have heard for this type of price point. My family and I love it.

Many Sony products are great but this CD and Cassette player is very affordable and versatile as well. The features are easy to use and the sound quality is better than most players this size....

We purchased the Emerson Alarm Clock to replace our 10 yr old alarm. The display was nice and large to see either in the light or dark. You can also adjust it for brightness. Nice. The volume was turned up all the way, but, it was not loud enough to wake us up in the morning . Radio has really bad sound also. You would think that with technology today, the speakers could sound better than 20 year old technology. My 10 yr old alarm has better sound than this one. It was a good thing we tested it along with our old one as the old one was still loud enough to wake us up for work. The next day, we tested just the buzzer alarm. It too, was very quiet. We took it back to the store, but it was passed the 30 day return policy and they would not accept the defective clock. I have a nice clock to sit in the box on my shelf....

Apparently, the other people who reviewed it didn't like the color. It is actually a cool pine color (I uploaded a photo of it). I bought two of them, one for my room and one for the livingroom in my other place. Love the retro 70s look and the ipod dock plus you can hook up other devices via the lin-in jack.

This is a good CD/Radio player at a good cost value. Sound quality is good in both the CD player and Radio reception; radio reception is excellent. Antenna works fine with the Radio. The Bass Button adds a good and noticeable level to the sound. Easy of use with the logical layout of the buttons. The volume control has plenty of loudness. I like it because when we go to the drive-in I can use it to get the movie sound on it....

I gave this as a gift, so I have no personal opinion about this item. I had researched online and found this radio to have good reviews. It was a Christmas gift for my daughter's boyfriend, a postal carrier who wanted a portable radio to take with him in his mail truck. I also gave him rechargeable batteries with charger. I received an email that he was very, very happy with his gift.

This radio is very light (without batteries) but provides excellent sound. I really appreciate being able to play cassettes and CDs. The radio is able to bring in even weak stations very clearly. Excellent purchase.
