mijamaza6 says "The Olympic Cottage " about x treme northwest territoy Olympic Cottage tent

We bought the Olymic Cottage tent, as my husband wanted a tent that he could stand up in. We also wanted one large enough for our family to use instead of having to pack 4 different tents when we go camping.

We liked the tent because of the size. It's very roomy, and we can easily fit our family of 8 inside without stepping on or tripping over each other.

We had to take the first one we bought back, because the zipper on the door broke after about 4 uses, and the poles that are used in the popout closets splintered (the tension on these poles once assembled is just too tight, regardless of what you do to try to loosen the tension).

There were no problems with returning it. However, the replacement tent was a bit problematic as well. The issue with the poles was the same, the issues with the flimsy zippers was the same. The rain cover on the replacement tent does not fit like the one on the first tent did either.

I would recommend looking for another model of tent if your are going......

After reading so many reviews i was skeptical, but decied id try it anyway...I saved my recipt incase it didnt stand up to the elements ..Paid $199.99 at my local Kmart and took it up to Narrowsburg NY campgrounds. It poured rain while we were building it and the same for the entire wknd. I expected it to filter like some of the reviews had said, but NOPE! we were dry all wknd. Yay! It took four of us about 30minutes to put it together. One to read out the directions and three to hold it up while its being built. But thats only cuz it was the 1st time..Ive labled them and so i expect the next time it shouldnt be longer than 15minutes. I love it!!! everyone can walk freely without having to hunch over. I used one queen air bed on the left side of the tent and used the dividing panel...I set up two twin size air beds on the right side and a normal 36" round patio table with four chairs in the middle to play board games and we still had enough space to walk around without stepping onto anyones......

DVN18 says "Classic and proven stove" about Coleman 1 Burner Duel Fuel Stove

The 533 continues the long line of dependable Sportster (not 'Sporter' ******) stoves. This model can use unleaded gas in addition to white gas (Coleman fuel) because of the included generator (same part as a 433 stove, but if you use a 433 generator, you'll only be able to use white gas). I prefer white gas and never got good results with 87 octane (too much soot). This stove is NOT for backpacking unless your name is Varnell, a farm boy from Georgia, over six feet tall, 230 lbs., and can tote an M60 on cross-bayou treks with no problem. Good stove to keep in the truck or in the cabin. Dependable, fires up with little problem. Easy availability of spare parts. Not as sexy as a lightweight titanium butane/propane stove, nor as weight efficient as a good commercial or homebrew alcohol stove, but gets the job done. I have made the mistake of buying and selling a number of these over the years and should have stuck with my old green model - it would still be working today.
...

I have always used the normal chairs which always seemed to dig into my thighs until I came across this larger one. I first bought one and was happy with it a year later that I decided to add another one to my collection. They are perfect for camping or the beach. I would argue that they are male friendly, and I say that only because they are a bit wider and heavier than traditional folding chairs. If you are carrying them a few feet from the car to a camp site, anyone could manage it. I would argue that if you have a bit of a walk on your hands, they could be cumbersome for a smaller person.
...

TheTradesman says "Coleman.....Home Brewed Coffee At Your Camp Site" about Coleman Camp Coffee Maker

This Coleman 10 cup capacity coffee maker is an ideal design for coffee lovers at the camp site. With home style features like a swing-out filter basket that holds standard round paper filters (made by Mr. Coffee or similar) a pause-n-serve with easy pour decanter, you'll feel right at home with this camp site coffee pot. The Coleman Camping Coffee pot needs at least a two burner camp stove to operate properly because it needs to rest firmly on a leveled steel burner grid to percolate as designed.

Over the past few years of use, our Coleman Camping Coffee Pot has never let me down. Keeping the coffee hot after brewing may be the only flaw (if you wish to call it one) the Coleman Camping Coffee Pot has. I have found that after brewing coffee I am able to turn the camp stove down to a very, very small flame to keep the coffee warm. Typically we are fast coffee drinkers and we find that the coffee is still hot enough to enjoy right down to the last cup full.

It's a amazing little, light, fast burning stove. If your going on a hike you need light wieght stoves not heavy ones. This is the stove of the century for scouting. The hikers stove. It is all I use on campouts because it's so good. I have been using my stove for only one year and I'm already hooked with using it. Need a quick warm breakfast; use this stove. When I had to go hiking our scoutmaster suggested a light fast stove. I was searching all day and night; then finally I found the Coleman 1 burner duel fuel stove. The most amazing stove ever. After that campout I was hooked.
...
