Died after about 10 hours of use over about 2 years. Key critical bearing around the pedals blew out, and they wanted $170 to replace it. This is a bearing no bigger than a quarter in diameter and may - at the most - cost $10 to manufacturer. Naturally it was out of warranty, but given the bike only cost 350 to purchase, it now is a a big paperweight.

A cursory review of web postings would've revealed this recurring problem and I should've stayed away.

This bike is awesome. Bought it for my husband who recently had a knee replacement. Comfortable seat, easy to hard pedaling. Great programs to set for a great workout. ipod hookup included. A little difficult to assemble. Has all the features you need for a great workout....

The Nordic Track Exercise Bicycle is very easy to put together which was a big concern for me. It was purchased for a family member but I find myself using it just as much. It is so easy to use that anyone should try it out. I highly recommend it!!!...

When buying an exercise bike, be sure to try out all the floor models. Is it strong & sturdy? Is it silent? Comfortable? I have been using different kinds of these bikes for 20 years now, and almost all of them need extra cushioning for the seat, which can easily be improvised with pillows, etc....

Worked fine for 8 months then some electronic wiring broke and fell down into the wheel and wrapped around the hub. Now nothing works. I need to do some looking on the Internet to find out where to get it repaired under warranty. I'll call Sears first. This is not a good sign for the bike.

The timer would not work on this bike. And after a few months of struggling with and taking the whole thing apart and putting it back together, I called the service center. Of course the warranty had expired and they would have to send someone out to look at it. The cost just to send someone out was nearly half the cost of the bike not to mention how much the replacement part would have cost.

Two years later, the seat adjuster is stripped and does not hold the position you select.

All in all, it was a waste of money. This was not the first stationary bike I purchased; but this was the worse for this price point.

I love to use the ProForm XP Exercise Bike because it gets my legs going with the petaling every workout time. Do you think? I have been at the Gyms that has exercise bikes for people to use and when ever you get tire, drink ice cold water when your done. It's a best responsibility. Yoy can keep track on your burned calories and miles you went and minutes you been on the exercise bike....

ProForm XP Exercise Bike, XP 70 is a comfortable bike. ProForm XP Exercise Bike, XP 70 did not last very long though. The third set of batteries was all it could out last. ProForm XP Exercise Bike, XP 70 $250 bike the console was a $189 repair. Just sits there now. Without the console, there's no way to adjust the resistance.

I purchased this bike for my primary exercise after Christmas while it was on sale, twice actually. It works great, for awhile, and it has a life expectancy of about a year, give or take a few months.

The directions are very straight forward and you should have it assembled and ready to go in about a half hour.

The digital counter is nice, it measures time, distance, calories, and has a spot to record your pulse to make sure your on target.

Now, as I said I have bought this bike twice now. The first time the resistence malfunctioned, as in there was no longer any.

The second one is about 8 months old now and sometime will pedaling there is little click, almost like a grinding, but it is intermittent at best and for now doesn't inhibit my use of the machine.

In all fairness to Weslo, it was one the cheapest units there (sale price) and I do use quit a bit about 2 hours a day (broken up) 6 days a week. So I am fairly hard on it, and for about $100.00 you can't go wrong for a years...

The Nordic Track U300 is ideal for both, my 5'1", 126 pound girl friend & my 6'3" & 250 pound frame. This excercise bike was easy to assemble after picking it up at my local Sears Store. Its displays & exercise programs are easy to understand. The extra padded/over-sized seat is very comfortable and the bike is very steady on it's base. The seat is easily adjusted up & down. Built in speakers for iPod/MP3 players is a plus. With the add-on extended warranty, we should have a trouble free exercise bike for the next 3 years. The only minus on this bike is the power pack is an add-on option, though the displays & programs do fine running on the D size batteries this bike accepts. Price vs quality, this was a great deal. I, also, think that the 3 year extended warranty is a good idea for the money, especially if you're going to use the bike much.
