Seasonal Decor: Penguin Pillow

While shopping with my four year old grandaughter we happened across the most adorable thing - a cuddly pillow in the shape of a penguin!

We found him amongst the seasonal home decor items for the kitchen.

My grandaughter spotted him snuggled up against an owl pillow.

She fell for him instantly!

Penguin Pillow is soft and snuggly and cute-as-can-be.

We couldn't leave Kmart without him.

Perhaps during this wonderful season Kmart should place Penguin and his friends at each register?

The Musical Halloween Lights by Totally Ghoul are great. The lights are skull shaped and flash with the theme music from Halloween. This strand can be set to continual lights only or lights and music triggered by a button or flashing lights and music triggered by a sensor. My 2 year old granddaughters love them. They dance to the music and clap or yell "Hey!" to trigger them. These lights are fun, creepy, and well worth the cost. I have seen these lights at other stores priced $5.00 higher than I paid at Kmart.

I had seen the Willow Angels in stores several times before I received the first one as a gift. I try not to be a collector of gifts but rather a giver of them, but this one was just so personal and meaningful that I kept it.

No long after that I received one from a student who who gave me the Angel of Knowledge from the same collection along with a card that made me know this too was a keeper.

I know have four such Willow Angel keepers. They are unique as far as angels go.

If you need a gift that says more than itself, check out the collection. If you receive you, don't be too hasty in shelving it. Someone is more than complementing you. They love you and value you via this lovely carved angel. Enjoy
