I ordered two of these for the covered area of my patio. The photo online makes the chandelier look black and when the description says "Olde Iron", I was thinking wrought iron black. It's not. It's more like rusted iron brown. I suppose I could spray paint them, but don't really want to bother with that. :(

The fixtures seem okay otherwise and of reasonable quality. However be aware that that the candle height is not the common 3-1/4 inches but only a squat 2 inches high. This may be important if you are you plan to use light shades on the fixture. The fixtures arrived quickly in only 5 days after I placed the order and they were well packaged and in good condition. Nevertheless, I think I'll be returning them.

I just got these , while remodeling my basement. I put them in nthe ceiling with my pyle in ceilig speakers. The two look super modern everyone keeps telling me how much they love them and how they disapear in the ceiling. I like that I can angle them a little bit and I can't wait to get my pool table in but for now the eye ball shape works great to keep the light aimed in the room without glaring on the television screen. I suggest checking them both out.

We've had this chandelier for a few years now in our dining room and still love it. Especially love the stone shades, they have a beauty all their own. we really like the style and it was easy to install. It's light weight but yet elequent. Adds a special glow to our dining room.

I bought this light for a relatively small room. I wanted to better illuminate some pictures on the walls, but the room only had a single 60W (max.) fixture in the ceiling, which didn't do the job,

I started shopping around and found these little replacement systems with "track lights" (without a track) that can be aimed at different points in the room. It's not an expensive fixture, but it's solid enough and actually kind of appealing visually. It was easy to install.

So far, so good, but there are a couple of issues you should be aware of. First, with the included 50W bulbs, you'll get a lot of light, but because the glass globes are antiqued, the light will be decidedly orange. This can be corrected by replacing the 50W bulbs with 35W bulbs, which results in a much more pleasing yellowish cast. Second, the halogen bulbs (even the 35W's) generate a noticeable amount of heat, so if you'll be in the room for a long time, it may get uncomfortably warm.

We ordered two of these pendant lights and I was worried about the volume of lighting from the # of watts... it was PERFECT- we actually have more light now in our entry way then we did with a chandelier! As for the look... these are very clean contemporary and look perfect with our decor! Love love love these lights!!!

As for COST- I looked everywhere on-line and found the lights retailing for $200 plus.... so at $59... this was so very nice! And no other companies could price compare because this brought them down to "under cost" !

I wanted a small fixture, not too big for a somewhat small room, and this was it. The only problem is that no light bulb fits inside the dome! CFLs are larger than standard incandescents, but even incandescents are too big to allow the dome to fit around them. WTF! The outside of the box says "uses 2 100W A19 bulbs (not included)," but the fixture itself is different; it allows 3 bulbs, and has a (fire) warning printed on it not to go above 60W, and not even a single A19 bulb will fit inside the darned thing. Do NOT buy this product sight-unseen. Make a sales-person show you how a light bulb fits inside it BEFORE you buy. I still like the external look of this fixture, and I'll try to make it work, but when the core functionality is fundamentally broken... caveat emptor.

Update:

This is a follow-up to my earlier review. I was finally able to get some satisfactory light bulbs into this fixture, but to do so I had to remove the light socket from it's metal base-plate,...

This was the first light fixture I installed myself, I researched the "how-to" and I was successful, the light turned on!

This fixture is not overstated and looks great with all the other stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.

My husband and I loved the looks of this light fixture. Unfortunatlely, we have a different light hanging in our dining room. We had this light shipped to us three times and the dome was cracked or broken each time. The package was wrapped so well all three times, that there was no way UPS was breaking these. We requested that the light be opened and inspected before it was shipped to us the third time and were told that that was impossible to do, so after the third broken one, we gave up. Dealing with customer service each time was very easy and everyone was very nice, but it got to be time consuming after 3 times. We really liked the looks of this light, but unfortunately, we couldn't get one that wasn't broken....

Arrived in one piece! I was really surprised there were no broken bits. It was super easy to assemble and had options to make the pendant longer or shorter. The rim was smaller than I thought, but I probably should have read the dimensions. The other two things I dislike is that it casts wierd shadows on the ceiling. I guess from the holes around the top of the bowl. Last thing I didnt like too much is that the light bulb is a candlebra bulb with 60watts max. A 60watt regular bulb is bright....this bulb is not so bright. All in all, I really love this light, we get alot of compliments and it fits just over our desk which is matching chrome colored with glass. I would recommend this product and shopping at Sears....
