For those delaying buying this vacuum cleaner - wait no more. I recently bought the 5th generation I-Robot. Three years ago I bought one of the early models. It still runs great but I wanted an extra one for the basement. The updgrades on the bot are well worht it. The newer bot is more quiet, less bumping, and more clean.

I highly recommend this type of vacuum cleaner to anyone who likes a clean floor and can walk away while it works. It does take around 20 minutes to vacuum, but I do other cleaning while it does its work. My floors get vacuumed more often thanks to the convenience of this robot. It is also a nice conversation piece for the company.
...

The IRomba is really great to have since I cannot use a regular cleaner due to back and shoulder problems. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how well the Romba cleanned our main floor and our reck room. Also, our Romba could not run for a few weeks

and the product replacement insurance we had taken when purchesed, had to be used. The results of the insurance was for us to send it to Sears and we received a GiftCard in the

Amount that we paid for theRomba and could buy a new Romba.
...

I just love this hand vac, it is the best in the market and I have tried a lot of different ones

It bends to any shape you want for pick up you can clean in the cracks in the ceiling or pick up dust from the floor, a bit noisey but who cares! as long as it cleans as well as it does I can live with that It has an easy removable dust bin to empty the dirt, and you can adjust the different speeds, the pivoting nozzle also accepts the accessories etc

after use I just put it back on the charger until next time, it is always ready to go!!

namesmuddy says "So far I am pretty impressed!" about Dyson DC25

My son's friends apparently have been raving and ranting about their Dyson vacuums. So (while I have always been a Hoover fan myself) I decided to buy one.

Seemed a little light in weight, and not even 12 amps, still the Sear's saleslady seemed pretty crazy about the Dyson DC25 herself, as she demonstrated how the cleaning wand came out of the handle, ease in emptying and ease in accessing and cleaning its two filters....every three months.

Got it home, my son put it together (in seconds) and did it every pick up lots! I mean, the braided rug in the living room and hardwood floors everywhere else were just vacuumed yesterday, yet there inside the see-through canister was plenty of cat hair!

(Really, Clarice is a calico and I just don't see why she is not entirely bald....white hair gets everywhere....and we brush her diligently).

So, I'm liking this Dyson DC25! Got the fall feature, so it moves around very nicely too.

So glad my son's friends are Dyson fans,...
...

Kenmore canister vacuum model 116.26312 I think is great. We have two house dogs, live on a small farm and don't take our shoes off when coming in. It still has the same cleaning power as when new one year ago. I read reviews before I bought it am careful when changing bag with the cover. I have not had to replace any parts only bags which I don't get over full and have just cleaned filter and not replaced yet. I clean 5 days a week and it keeps our old place looking good. Ease of use for going under furniture, in corners, and you don't lose suction when cleaning with the tools as you do with an upright. I would highly advise this vacuum and will buy when needed again. I bought at a local Sears store in Kentucky. Am 57 years old and this is my third Kenmore canister.
...

I wanted a new dyson vac & since I shop Sears for all appliances I naturally went there. The sales guy said the had a comparable. the Kenmore green upright bagless. I ALWAYS buy Kenmore products so I trusted what they said and bought the Kenmore instead of the Dyson. Big mistake. I had the vac 7 weeks and had to return it. It smoked during use, parts were falling off of it and not good suction. I took it back and they wanted to fix it. I told them I wanted a total new vac. They gave me a new vac. Well, here I am a year later with a heap of junk. I took it back in, sent to repair and was told it would be 280.00 to fix it. I called the store manager a total of 7 times now to see if Sears was going to do anything to help me out since clearly I did not get what I paid for. The manager of the Bloomington Illinois store did return my call, I was out so he left message. I have been trying for 2 weeks now to call him back and get put on hold for 30+ minutes at a time with no...
...

I have not had to buy a new Mighty Mite Vacuum in 16 years! It has been our only vacuum! All wood floors and linoleum BUT works great on the low pile rugs that I have throughout my home. I am now looking into a new one only because there is a crack in the outer shell near the middle, bottom, wheel. But it still runs just fine and the crack is due to our being a bit hard on it! I love the hepa filters and bags etc. and it does vacuum the car just fine but be sure not to pull hard on the hose. (Bring the vacuum to where you are vacuuming.) I also have found out that Eureka now has optional vacuum heads that I may like better than the one that comes with this model.
...

I just purchased a Dyson DC25 Animal. So far so good. I was not going to spend the money, but darn it, this thing was cool. I wanted a vacuum that was light,i have to carry it up and down stairs. This isnt exactly light, but it wasnt the heaviest, either. Its my understanding that all the vacuums with the cyclone system are going to be heavy. What sold me was the claim on not loosing suction(which is yet to be seen), the fact that ALL the filters are washable, so no buying replacement filters to clog up, and the fact that the wand/hose was so long, you could go all the way up stairs without the vacuum tipping over. Also, an added benefit was that you can shut the brushes off, and clean up stuff like kitty litter, without it scattering all over. i like that I can use it on my wood floor, and then follow up with the Shark Steam mop. Only two downfalls I notice already after day one, is that the cord isnt retractable, which isnt a huge deal, but for 500 bucks, seems like it oughtta have all...
...

Electrolux Home Care Products Canister Vacuum, Red Floor attachment began peeling apart within a couple uses (velcro pieces for traction were falling off completely within 2 months and I do not vacuum every day.) Hard to push on any type of carpet; static created actually gave shocki- BUT DID gather pet hair on top of attachment that vacuum did not get. Very quiet to use, excellent on tile and wood, but way too expensive for what I call a "floor sweeper". After 6 months, I went gave up - or my shoulder did, and relagated this down to the basement unless my daughter needs iut for her dorm room, .First (and last) Electrolux I will buy, I am afraid.
...

laurelS says "DYSON makes a great Vaccum, DC07 worth every penny!" about Dyson DC07 All Floors Upright

The Dyson DC07 is the best vacuum I've ever purchased. I decided to splurge on a vacuum for my very first place and chose the Dyson because of its carpet/bare floor feature and because Dyson has an outstanding reputation for great suction. Because I have a very hairy dog, I needed some serious sucking power! The vacuum itself is very light and compact for easy storing. The DC07 has a detachable hose for stairs, overhead fans, curtains, etc. I've found the detachable hose and accessories very helpful during Spring cleaning!

The Dyson website is amazing as well. I broke piece on cleaner and jumped on-line to try to find the piece to replace. I found the Dyson website very helpful and super speedy in solving my problem. I purchased the new piece for my vacuum in 5 minutes, it was delivered to my door step in 5 days!

The Dyson DC07 is a pricey machine, but a solid investment!
...

Yes, I bought my Dyson DC25 Ball vac due to the hype, and actually a friend's recommendation. However, I have been very happy with it, and we have been using it for almost 4 months now several times a week.

We have 4 active kids, and so there is no shortage of dirt, dust, mudd, leaves, etc. entering the home. I used to have a graveyard for vacs in my basement. I have been able to pitch all of them and finally they are at peace and so are we.

The canister is a good size as is the overall machine. Like that the canister is clear so that you can always tell when its full or hasn't been emptied. You do need to empty it regularly, and you should check the filters. Word on the Internet is the vac will lose suction over time if the various filters are not maintained properly. This is not a problem. Good easy access, easy to empty or rinse, and replace.

Previous vacs had bags or canisters also with filters. My family killed them all as I was the only one whom would take the time...
...

The Hoover SteamVac-Upright Vacuum SpinScrub-F5914-900 is an amazing machine. It is very easy to use and I love it. This amazing "power scrubber" real sucks in a good way. It clean deep into the carpet fibers to not only get the top layer of dirt but to also get the deep down soaked in dirt. It help deodorize carpets and remove pet stains as well. It also helps remove grape juice!!!! I would recommend this wonderful carpet cleaner to anyone who has pets, kids, or whoever just has a home that has been lived in....

I owned two kirby's before i got my dyson and dyson is not expensive considering what your getting and comparing it to the door to door sales people with there Kirby's etc. You can see what a job it does by the dirt in the canister. I'm amazed by all the dirty in a house with only two people.

I realize it might be a bit heavy with the ball but the ball works just like power steering on your auto. The hose is a little unhandy but still better than dragging along all the attachments you need to get the job done.
...
