When my husband first bought me the Roomba Discovery, I was pregnant and we had a cat. That cat shed like crazy. I was constantly vacuuming because if I didn't, the floor was covered in hair. Once the baby was born, my hubby took over some of the cleaning duties, including the vacuuming. After two weeks, he bought the Roomba. I guess I should have given him that chore earlier!

Roomba was perfect. It picked up all the cat hair without any work on my part. I'd turn it on when I was leaving, and when I got home it was done. Awesome!

Four years later, we don't have a cat, but we do have two extra kiddos. We've also switched from carpet to hardwood floors. Roomba is still chugging along. It's a little more work these days to make sure the floor is ready for Roomba, but it's worth it. And a bonus - the kids love playing with Roomba! If I need to get them out of my hair, I just throw 'em in their bedroom with Roomba, and they're entertained for a half hour or more. It babysits while it...

For those delaying buying this vacuum cleaner - wait no more. I recently bought the 5th generation I-Robot. Three years ago I bought one of the early models. It still runs great but I wanted an extra one for the basement. The updgrades on the bot are well worht it. The newer bot is more quiet, less bumping, and more clean.

I highly recommend this type of vacuum cleaner to anyone who likes a clean floor and can walk away while it works. It does take around 20 minutes to vacuum, but I do other cleaning while it does its work. My floors get vacuumed more often thanks to the convenience of this robot. It is also a nice conversation piece for the company.

The IRomba is really great to have since I cannot use a regular cleaner due to back and shoulder problems. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how well the Romba cleanned our main floor and our reck room. Also, our Romba could not run for a few weeks

and the product replacement insurance we had taken when purchesed, had to be used. The results of the insurance was for us to send it to Sears and we received a GiftCard in the

Amount that we paid for theRomba and could buy a new Romba.

Worked very well for hardwood floor. Cleaning out the Roomba after each usage is easy. The kids now vacuum their room without my prompting. Also bought 2yr warranty. Very happy with purchase....

I got my hubby this Roomba for Christmas... he has been wanting one for about 10+ years and the after Thanksgiving price made it so it couldn't be passed up. I joked that if he guessed what he got it would go back, but I never thought it would come in the factory marked box :( - and the kids and him couldn't wait. So, it got opened the day it came. Anyways - it is great... just pick up the toys and let it go. It gets all the crumbs and eventhing we don't see. The floors are nice and clean when it is done & with wood floors and 3 little kids (4 yr, 3 yr and 18 mo) that can be a task sometimes. We haven't had any troubles with it - for us it has been a super help, one less thing to do everyday... oh what a help!! Thing I can't believe it that if it can fit under it - it makes it's way under, cleans and finds it's way out again... it's so cool. Super great buy - have recommened it already!...

I have several roombas (more expensive ones) and I am surprise how well this one works. It is heavy duty and goes faster than the other models. I bought this one for my mother and she loves it as much as we do....

I have enjoyed my Roomba. It is hilarious to watch the reaction of my dogs to the machine. Although does not do a perfect job, it does okay. I can't wait to program it to do more stuff....

Got this for Christmas, at first I was pretty mad (not what a new wife wants). But once i took it out of the box and charged it, i was surprised. it cleaned all the little spot and under the beds, i have been showing it off all week. Turned out to be a good gift after all!...

I have had a roomba for 3 years, I love the product, I have two dogs and 3 cats, its a must, I can turn roomba on every day or every other day and roomba will take care of the animal hair, but please get the extended warranty, also make sure it is of equal value or better as I originally purchase the 410 and Sears only replaced it with the 400. Roomba customer service are very helpful for the 1st year. After that, they are no help. Good luck, as I am purchasing another roomba from Sears, 405, I had a bad charger that burned out my circuit board, be careful with unpluging the charger when its not in use, as my wires separated from the cable this is what caused the short....

I really liked this product and it truly does get the floors super clean and beyond sparkling. No other product has worked so well. However, I do have one complaint. The scooba is not good to use in small areas such as around toliets in the restrooms and so on. The machine is rather bulky. If they were to make a smaller model, i wouldn't have to pull out the mop at all....

I have two roombas; one for upstairs and one for downstairs, so I was very excited when I heard about scooba. It worked well the first time I used it, but has never worked since. As directed I called and emailed irobot for advice. Each time it was a different problem. Each time it ran three mintues and died. After six fixes I have given up. Irobot has refused to replace it, even though they said they would without any questions. Sorry, I really wanted scooba to work...
