I have always used Dirt Devil Vacumns for over 20 years and I'm very happy with this hand vac. They're always very powerful and inexpensive compared to some vacumns and they last a long time. They're also cute and my little girl even had a toy one that worked pretty well. I love the hose attachment that gets into corners and the little brush you can put on it to even dust off furniture! Very good deal for the money.

This a powerful vac, especially when compared to other hand helds I've tried. A little heavy but not a big deal. I do find it a little awkward to empty and I have some trouble getting the filter out but it's still the best hand held vacuum I've ever used!

I purchased a Shark 14.4 cordless on a gift certificate. The capacity is very small but it worked well at first for quick pickup of small quantities. After a year or so the batteries started wearing down very quickly. At a couple of years they wouldn't hold much of a charge at all. Replacement batteries are about the cost of a new unit. I'll be tossing it on Monday.

The Shark is convenient for small pickups but doesn't do such a good job for a larger area. Works well on bare floors. It picks up pet hair from carpeting, but not all, so if you have a dog or cat, don't substitute this for your large vacuum cleaner.

The charge does not last nearly long enough and the older the Shark gets its' charge lasts less time. It is noisy too, but that shouldn't matter for a quick pickup job. It swivels easily and the dirt cup is easy to pull out and empty.

It is convenient for small jobs but don't give up your full size vacuum.

Amazing little vacuum. It is great for cleaning stairs and the car. The long cord makes it easy to move around and use almost anywhere. the vacuum does clog up fast but thats because its doing a good job. The unit gets hot while you use it extensively so i would say you can only use it in 15-20 minute spurts tops. The only really bad thing was the hose attachment. This hose attachment latches to the mouth of the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum is made solid, unfortunately the hose attachment is not. The tabs that hold it to the mouth of the vacuum broke with the second use of the hose attachment. I would say if you want something that can suck the dirt out buy a shop vac, if you want something that is going to dig the dirt out of your carpet and leaving it looking deep-cleaned, get this and dont bother ever attaching the hose.

I just love this hand vac, it is the best in the market and I have tried a lot of different ones

It bends to any shape you want for pick up you can clean in the cracks in the ceiling or pick up dust from the floor, a bit noisey but who cares! as long as it cleans as well as it does I can live with that It has an easy removable dust bin to empty the dirt, and you can adjust the different speeds, the pivoting nozzle also accepts the accessories etc

after use I just put it back on the charger until next time, it is always ready to go!!

I have had this product for about two years. I love it. I have low pile carpet, barefloors, and tile in the kichen. It picks up everything. The key is to remember to empty after each room so it dosen't clog up. It is lightweight and works well. Recently I had to order a new filter. Other than that no other parts have had to be replaced. I would highly recommend the pronto!! Connie...

would recommend this vac. It works well overall. I'm not 100% sold on the attachments - it doesn't stay on as well as I would like, but it does work....

Bought this vacuum assuming elecrolux meant quality and for it's convenience. We have mostly tile and hardwood floors. This vacuum has been a useless waste of money. It picks up NOTHING! II gave up on it and now it sits in the corner gathering more dust than it could ever clean....

This vaccuum has a great look and is portable and easy to use. But NOT worth the price!! We have had the vaccuum for 6 months and recently purchased a Hoover Mach 3 for less because the Pronto could not do the job.*and we have very little carpet* It has to be emptied constantly and doesn't pick up much of anything. We tried to but a filter at the store and order it over the phone through Sears and they told use that part is no longer offered. We would have to go through the company itself. Why sell a product and not the parts? Do not buy this vaccuum unless you enjoy a dirty house and wasting your money....

We purchased this to use on our kitchen floor and hardwood floors. I have a bird so wanted something that would pick up bird seed. It was a godsend! However, the battery is NOT replaceable and when dies, you have to replace the entire thing. That was very disappointing....

This vacuum is SO easy to grab and use, and works so well, that I use it every day. I LOVE emptying the dirt cup, because it is very satisfying to see all the dirt it picked up. I noticed some people mentioned they would like the dirt cup to be bigger; however, I'm glad they used the space to make the engine more powerful instead....

THIS IS EASY TO USE AND DOES AT GREAT JOB. I GET IT OUT AND USE IT EVERY DAY IN AT LEAST ONE ROOM. WE L IVE AT THE BEACH AND IT GETS THE SAND UP GREAT. AS FAR AS THE HANDLE COMING OFF AT TIMES. WELL ALITTLE SUPER GLUE TOOK CARE OF THAT PROLEM AND IT HAS NEVER COME OFF AGAIN. I WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT ONE OF THESE THINGS FROM NOW ON....

Like most people, I hate dragging out the big vacuum or even small electric broom for little messes. With two kids and a dog, our kitchen area can be full of crumx & hair. This little CORDLESS broom is awesome. It's small enough to stash in a small closet and pull out whenever you need it. Keeps a charge for weeks while in storage. My 5 year-old thinks it's fun to use...bonus....
