It's a bit difficult to put it up because you need to get the measurements right the first time, and the packaging needs improvement because I scratched the wood when I used scissors to open it up. Other than that, it's nice looking and quite sturdy.

I think the overall ease of installation is what makes these nice. I had all 3 hung in a matter of minutes. They're attractive and they went well with my mantle....

I am really happy with this product. The mounting system that comes with it is really handy - I don't know why other products don't have this! It comes with a separate mounting device with a level that the shelf slides over. It makes it easy to mount the shelf perfectly without worrying about it not being straight. It also includes heavy-duty screws to use if you plan on putting something >10 lbs on the shelf. The shelf is well made, and I like the clean, off-white color. My only complaint is the packaging - it was shipped in a box that was too big for the product, and had inadequate packing. A corner of the shelf had some paint scratched off, which I was able to touch up with a paint pen. It would probably be best to pick this item up in the store. Other than that inconvenience, I'm happy with this product....

these shelves look fine and do the job, but are extremely flimsy and a little difficult to hang if you do not have drywall. i think the hanging mechanism could be better. probably would not buy again, but like i said, they do the job if you are not planning on touching them after hanging or putting heavy objects on them....

I bought these shelves because of the level line mounting system. Although the system is a good idea for levelling, it left my wall in shreds. While nailing in the level-line mounting, you put two nails in straihgt which worked fine, but the next few nails are driven in at an angle. When driving in these nails, chunks of my wall were gouged out. Either the nails were not penetrating the wall and bending in the mount, or they were breaking the wall apart so that they were not going in. After that, i tried to use the anchor screws instead and the tips of these broke off while I was trying to drive them in. Now I am left with shelves that I can't use and a wall with numerous holes that needs to be spackled. Since the nails and screws are broken, I also can't try to return them. All in all,I am very unsatasfied....

These shelves are the most amazing thing I have ever had. This was the first shelf I put up that was straight the first time. The secret is a tiny level built into the wall bracket. The shelf comes with all the material, all you have to do is nail it in. This is achieved rather easily as the holes are already made in the bracet and numbered for order of nailing. These shelves are very metropolitin, but match nearly any decor. The shelves are also rather sturdy as I put my glass art work on them and they held tight....
