I have approx. a 10,000 sq. ft. lot of which there is a slight slope on the sides and back yard. The tractor has no problems negotiaing the slight slopes and I am satisfied with the cut I get on the grass, I have had several compliments on my lawn.
...

bought these at sears. i am giving it an average rating because although it looks nice, i did not like the fac t that the bar chairs come apart when lifting / moving. wonder how secure these may be when someone sits on them.... especially if a large person sits on them. further, i am bit worried about it rusting up fast as others are saying. mine sat in boxes for a while before i opened it to assemble so now i cannot return it otherwise i might have just returned it.
...

Bought this power washer thinking it was the best of the residential midteir power washers. What a joke - the pump seized on the 4th use. Took it to a Snapper service agent and told that it wouldn't be a warranty item as pumps do not seize unless they are run without water. NEVER NEVER NEVER ran it without water on. The part is $230 and two hours of labor to fix at $65/hr makes this not worth the money to repair. I could just scream.

Hey Sears - this is why the big box stores are kicking your butt on selling equipment these days - they take things back or replace them!...

newsfotos says "RIP craftsman brand" about Craftsman LTS 1500 17.5 HP/42" Lawn Tractor - CA

I'll grent that the unit's engine runs smooth. It is easy to use and has a nice tight turning radius. From there, it goes down hill...

I've become frustrated since this unit has repeated issues that should not be happening to a mower less than 2 years old.

The pins on the front steering have broken twice, steering wheel fell off, the muffler split in the middle of the pipe and the blade engage/disengage system sticks and leaves the blade running when it should be off. The safety switch under the seat is hit or miss.

This unit has had normal operational use and the level of repair is too high.

I suggest users look at another model or another brand.

May the real Craftsman name RIP.
...

This is my second sears pressure washer. Both units have failed in the same place. In the back, where you connect the water hose, "called the pump" in the parts diagram, is a hairline crack in the metal plate. This causes water to spray out of the pin size hole and the unit is unable to gather pressure. The part is not really user serviceable. Buyer beware on this one....
...

I've owned every propane scale or gauge ever marketed and there's only ONE that is consistently reliable, works-on-demand, and low cost. It is called the 'Grill Gauge'. When I discoveed it was developed, used, and recommended by propane professionals I decided to spend the $14 and buy one. It truly is the best one out there because it is calibrated based on the 'weight' of the liquid propane in the tank - simple and effective! I bought mine at ACE but they are also sold at ******* and elsewhere. Save yourself the money and unreliability from the GasWatch device and buy the Grill Gauge instead!

I purchased the LT 2000 at my local Sears store in October of 2009 for a $1000. I got it home and all that was needed before it was ready to mow was tire pressure increased and the mowing deck adjusted. Correct tire pressure and proper setting of the mowing deck wheels ensures an even cut. It is now spring time and I have been mowing an acre of grass each week for several weeks now and the mower has been working great. It starts on the first turn of the key. The hydrostatic transmission operates smoothly and is a nice feature. The mower seems to have plenty of power which makes cutting tall grass an ease. The mower has been reliable and has meet most of my expectations to date.
...

This grill is ok but does not get hot enough i've only gotten it to about 350 and thats pre heating it for 20 min seams like all the heat goes out the back. it's funny becuase the temp guage has sayings like 300-400 BBQ and 400-500 grill 500+ preheat and i can never get it above 350 so for steaks not too good burgers and dogs ok chicken is ok too. Also i allready had to replace the regulator thinking that might help the heating issue and no luck.
...

This pressure washer was on sale and seemed like a good deal at under $400 out the door, including tax and a "free" 50 foot Sears garden hose. It went together readily with no issues, except the high pressure hose was defective out of the box. A call to the Sears pressure washer helpline at 1-800-222-3136 and another hose was shipped to me promptly - a Briggs & Stratton part. I have doubts about its durability, but so far, so good.

When cold, the pressure washer starts easily and is very powerful for a consumer unit - it did a good job cleaning the rocks on my retaining wall, and really cut through the grime on my driveway. (If you're going to be doing large flat surfaces, here's a hint: get yourself a surface cleaner. One of the big box home improvement stores has one for $69 at this writing that works very well with this unit, and is well over 5x faster than using the wand.)

My mother asked to try out the pressure washer - she's 80! - and she found that the required grip to keep the...
...
