I just bought this weed eater, it use to take me 45 minutes to weed eat my yard with my old unit, now it takes me 2 1/2 hours to do the same weed eating with the new weed eater.

The line on my old unit was thicker and easy to load. On this new unit you are having to change the line every few minutes it is not as thick, it is very difficult to feed the line through the holes on the new weed eater head, the holes are too small. I cannot recommend this unit to anyone since I found it very difficult to get the job done in a timely fashion.
...

I bought this gas trimmer after our old craftsman trimmer bit the dust. We returned it twice after the first two died the second you touched the throttle and then wouldn't start again (they tried to charge us restocking fees and then gave me a hassle about it looked "old and dirty" even though I had just purchased it an hour prior), and on our third machine, it worked great twice. It sat in the garage during a few months of dormant grass weather, and when we got it out again it wouldn't start. I nearly ripped my arm off trying to get it to start (wouldn't start with the starter device either). I finally got it started and after 10 minutes it died. I got it to start back up again and it sounded like it was choking and once I squeezed the throttle it died again. I performed the routine maintenance on it suggested in the manual and cleared out the gas (mixed a new can of oil and gas) and started over (after only 3 uses!). It still gave me a hassle starting it, and once I got it started it...
...

Very Disappointed.
...

CRHebert says "DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM it is a piece of JUNK." about Craftsman 27 cc* 2-Cycle Full Crank Brushcutter Combo Weedwacker Gas Trimmer

I purchased this item in 2011. I used it 1 time on my yard. I began using it a second time and had to turn it off for a minute. I tried to re-start it and could not.
I brought it to Sears and wanted to get something different. The said no, it would have to go in for service. I received it back from service, took it home and it would not start.
Went back and got the same exact answers.
I received it back from service again and it did not start.
It cost me to have someone else cut my yard a few times before winter got here. $169.00 for the Weedwacker, $100.00 for someone else to do my yard, still can't use it.
It still will not work. Easy start = no start.
The only reason it received a 1 star review is because it wouldn't let me post without putting a star.
Sears says if you don't like something to return it. Ha! It's such a peice of junk THEY won't even take it back. Sears has just been fired....
