The 2 Bin Hard Bagger #24897 attachment for my YT4000 Yard Tractor was delivered to the store as scheduled..on time. This bagger attachment only took 20 minutes to put together and hooked up to the tractor with ease. The two bins are easy to empty and reinstall. Emptying the bins requires very little effort. The left bin fills before the right bin. There is a small red spinning wheel indicator on the side tubing next to the operator that is easy to watch. When the indicator stops spinning, it's time to empty the bins.

The old way of raking and bagging leaves took most of the day..sometimes part of the 2nd day. I am able to complete the same task using the 2 Bin Hard Bagger attachment in about 1.5 hours.

I am absolutely satisfied with the performance of the 2 Bin Hard Bagger. My only regret is that I did not purchase it sooner!

We were very pleased with this product. It was easy to install and easier to use. It only took us 15 minutes to install and all we needed was a 9/16ths wrench. Removing the original bolts from the mower and putting in the shoulder bolts was kind of a tight squeeze between the bolts and the rear tires, so my ratchet didn't work, but a flat wrench worked just fine. The primary reason we purchased this bagger was to pick up leaves since our house is completely surrounded by maples and oaks. The biggest challenge was knowing when to empty the bags, which really was dependent upon how many leaves were on the ground. If you waited too long to empty it, the tube would get clogged, so you'd have to turn the mower off and unclog it. It was easy to do, but just took a couple extra minutes. You could tell when it clogged because it left a trail of mulched leaves, but after a few rounds around the yard we figured out how often to empty it and it saved a lot of back breaking raking. Assembly directions for this Craftsman sweeper could be a better. A couple of the steps just did not make since on the first pass. But I got it after a bit. It took me about 1-1/2 hours to assemble. A good bit of that time was trying to figure out the particular step. In one step I turned the holes the wrong way on one section and had to take it back apart. The bendable rods to support the rear of the bag are too flimsy. I bought 2 thicker ones from the hardware store. The pivot rod that holds the basket kept vibrating out the of the holes they were in and would knock the drive on caps off. I just drilled a hole in each end and put a washer and pin in it. The last problem is that the brushes frequently throw debris (especially leaves) clear over the top of the bag. The top of the bag should have been made higher. I am going to put a strip of plastic netting above and behind the brush shields to deflect the stray leaves back into the hopper.

There really seem to be two critical flaws with this cart and one of which can be easily resolved:

1. As many folks out here have mentioned, the tubeless tires are not really reliable on this cart. Fortunately, this is an easy fix for $6.32 per tire...just add tubes:

I thought my tires were shot, but they are working great with these tubes installed.

2. The release lever dumps the cart way too easily. As suggested by others on this forum, some sort of locking pin should be present. Anybody already made this modification that would care to share their details? Leave a comment with pics if so.

I would certainly not recommend buying this cart if you are looking for a new cart. It may be inexpensive, but for a bit more you can get something without the above design flaws. Hopefully Sears can make these few mods in upcoming models and make this cart a great choice.

This unit does mostly what it is supposed to do. The trick is getting the brush height just right so that you can sweep up the leaves that are down low or stuck to the ground without setting the brushes too low so that you get wheel skip or skid. I didn't have to worry about leveling the hitch as this unit was level with my Craftsman DYS4500 without any issues.

I have a LOT of oak trees in my yard so I wanted to be able to pick up those small leaves that are a bit waxy as well as the sticks and acorns that fall out every year. I have a mixed yard with St. Augustine and Bermuda grass and it works on both, except where some of the leaves are stuck to the dirt. If the leaves are on the grass and not the mud or soil, they come up a lot easier. I do have to adjust to different heights between the front and back yards, so it takes a few passes. If I use the sweeper when it's totally dry, I get a lot of grass clippings, too, but then the dust content goes up and I'm covered. :-)

Craftsman 12.5 cu. ft. Hauling Cart. Shopped all the big box stores and could find no cart better built or at a better price. Sturdy cart with adequate capacity for nearly any chore.The poly cunstruction will never rust or bend like steel carts and the large pneumatic tires and 1" axle match the best of any competitor.

The cart was easy to assemble with help (help needed because my arms weren't long enough to hold the bolts and put the nuts on). I always use, and highly recommend loc-tite for those bolts you do not want comming off.

Have hauld hundreds of pounds of rocks and up to 15 bags of mulch (probably more than the recommended capacity) without problem. The dump ability is a real plus even if it does not dump completely.

Great product at a great price-a real value

I picked up a pair 14 gauge steel folding loading ramps. Model number 610.24690. One thousand pound capacity for a single ramp, two thousand pound capacity for using both ramps. They are not the most expensive, also they are not the least expensive. After weeks of widow shopping and homework, because I know my old ones were going to bite the dust, I decided on these for a few reasons. Price, durability, and storage. Excellent price point, heavy metal (not Ozzy), and they fold in half for easy storage. The front page of the manual states that you should wear gloves when working with these, you do not have to, but I would. It makes it a lot easier to work with. The manual also states that you should use cardboard when putting the together, I just put them in the grass and did not have a problem. Assembly took all of twenty minutes, very simple, but you should use the manual as it warns it may take more time to put together. What I like about this style ramp is that it...

My father calls the Craftsman Tractor Steering Knob the suicide knob. I guess that is what people called these things back in the day!!! It is very easy to put on the steering wheel of your tractor/Riding Mower. You only need one hand to steer so you other hand can be free for picking up debris or holding your nice cold beverage!!!! Seriously all you need to install this to any steering wheel is the allen key that is provided. For the price point, around fifteen dollars, it makes a great accessory or gift for any tractor/riding mower owner/fan. If you do decide to have that nice cold beverage make sure you are in the backyard because you can get in some certain trouble if a certain set of uniformed individuals catch you enjoying that nice cold beverage while you are in motion (driving).

Craftsman tractor bumper, model # 24599, is a simply must have if you own a riding lawn mower. I own a 1992 Craftsman riding lawn mower with a plow attachment on the front. It took me twenty minutes to install and after I was done I literally jumped up and down on it repeatedly with no problems at all. Heavy gauge steel with plastic end caps. The price point is well worth the investment to protect your tractor, $29.99. If you are a Craftsman Club Member you will save even more depending on the promotions at the time. I personally saved an extra $2.00. It does not sound like much, but it adds up over time. Again, this is a must have!!!!

Crafstman 42" lawn sweeper. What a hunk of junk. I spend $300 for this , while wanting it for a long while, and it does Not come with all the parts. Customer service said they will UPS the missing parts, sometime this week. then she pointed out that I should have layed out all parts and matched them against the assembly instructions. Yes, Maybe, but I told her hardly anyone does that, I just started putting it together. She yelled at me and said everyone does that. (if you are reading this, do you?) Anyhow, she said there not that critical of parts. It only supports the bag in an upright position. I should put it together and use it. She was also suprised it was only missing a couple of parts. I put it together as instructed. The Darn thing fell apart 3 times and jiggled apart a couple of other times. I have allways loved Crafstman stuff, But I am so frusterated with this non sweeping sweeper, I may never go to Sears again, let alone buy Craftsman. I was hoping for more from this...

The sales associate at store # 01051, his name is Rich, has been my savior and yours regarding my latest purchase. My family and I have been using Craftsman products for the last 30 years, and it seems like the quality level has been going down hill every year. I have been wanting to purchase item # 24322 for at least a year for my Craftsman tractor. I was waiting and saving money and finally the item (24322) went on sale for $49.99. Wonderful or so I thought. I had to spend one day calling every Sears store to see if the item was in stock, according to the computer and some sales associates there were suppose to be several at every store in my area, there were not. After several trips to several different Sears locations I was very disappointed. Why would a Store put something on sale then not stock it, or at least make sure that the inventory is correct before before hard working people take the time out of the day, waste the gas money to get said item, especially if it...

I am not going to review this item because we have only been looking at it and have not purchased it. For all of you people who can't find tires and wheels, try Agri-Fab. I'm not certain, but I believe they make this dump cart for Craftsman. Look on their website at:

I was reading on Sears' website yesterday about a myriad of dump carts and remember a blurb on one of the web pages about that product being supported and warranted by Agri-Fab.
