The locking washer mechanism on the height adjustment quickly wears out and allows the brushes to raise up - ergo picks up nothing since you are brushing air. I have tightened the adjustment and it keeps slipping. I have to get off the mower and reset it - good for abou 3-5 minutes before I have to stop and start again. Sears needs a better mechnism to lock-in the height - I see that on other models but not this one - a $300 investment in this product. I will be trucking down to the Home Depot to see what other locking mechanism I can use to lock the washers in place....

The Craftsman Professional Bumper Sold by Sears Item# 07191292000 | Model# 418910 Price was nice. Reg Price: $19.99 I saved $10.00 on sale and it was only $9.99 Front bumper is painted Yellow. It shipped to my local Sears store with free shipping, what a plus. I've got a used Poulan Pro, it's a 917 style tractor and like the Product Description states the bumper will fit other brands like Poulan Pro, Weedeater, Craftsman etc. and that's true. My tractor has yellow accents on the wheels and mower deck, The yellow bumper looks good installed. I bought the bumper to protect my tractor's hood, and headlights- my renter at my Florida rental house uses the mower to do the yard and was always bumping into things around the yard - it was only matter of time until I was looking at replacement parts to repair the front of my tractor.

The install- assembly is required. To me, I couldn't beat the price, like I said it was nice, the assembly went nice too. The pre-drilled holes in...

This is the first time I have owned or used a lawn sweeper. I have numerous gumball trees in my yard (beautiful but extremely messy due to the gumballs) and use my Craftsman lawn tractor with bagger to mow up the leaves. However, a lawn tractor is not able to pick up the heavy gumballs and so I have always had to do it the hard way...raking, raking, and more raking. Not unusual to rake up 20 to 30 extra-large lawn bags of gumballs each season. Decided to give the sweeper a try and did lots of research before deciding on this one. Wow.....it really did a great job. Spent less than a couple hours doing a job that used to take 10 or 12 hours and left me sore for a week. Only problem that I had was the wheels locked up a couple of times (as mentioned in some other posts) but I am not sure if that was due to my inexperience with setting the height and/or driving too slow while trying to learn how it operated. Problem went away when I adjusted the height and learned which speed was most efficient...

I have been looking for a sale on this item for almost a year. I found one on **** but it was not complete. I ordered the rest through sears parts direct and ended up paying around the same price if I had ordered it through Sears and picked it up in the store.

I love this thing. I don't have to get the big wagon to pick up small things like rocks or debris. It was not designed for the DIY novice to install, takes a bit of re-engineering on some garden tractors but, no problem I still love it!

Pretty good bagger. I can't give 5 stars because 1 hour into using for the first time the rubber strap that holds the two piece shute together broke. I think its a good idea but for it to break first time out of the box sucks. I mow mine and my neighbors yard and together its about 2 acres of grass and a ton of leaves in the Fall The capacity is great so less stops to dump saves a lot of time. It empties very easy and quickly. It does have a little spinning gage on the shute that shows when the bags are full and it is just useless it doesn't spin full, empty with grass going up the shute or not, I think it just for looks. You just have to get off and check from time to time to get a good idea of when to stop and empty. Over all I like the unit Sometimes things just break its an easy fix with a zip tie.

Picked these up my local store and had them on in about 20min. It does help to have a extra set of hands to put these on. I found the best way to put them on was to jack up the rearend and let the air out of the tires and then inflat after you have them on.

Well I do have a love hate relationship with this lawn sweeper. It was difficult for me to put together, but I am not technical. The 1st few times I could not figure out why the wheels locked up. I would be going along hearing all the debris going into the hopper, then the wheels locked up. I finally figured out to make it higher if there is a lot of debris. I got it mostly for pine cones, leaves & pine straw. One day I lowered it to pick up acorns. I was so happy hearing the acorns hit the hopper & the yard was looking beautiful, but then the wheels locked. It had gotten too heavy to move. I should have emptied it very frequently with the acorns. I ended up having to shovel out the acorns, which took as much time as just raking them. I just dump the debris in a burn pile & burn it. Sometimes the wheels lock & I have to disconnect the sweeper, turn it on it's side & get the tangled pine straw out. Overall I am very happy with this lawn sweeper & wish I had gotten one earlier.

Nice piece of equipment. Will be great for the homeowner or the semi professional lawn care people. Tires on it are a bit small and are much smaller than in the picture in the ad. Also has no way to strap weights to the tray, you have to come up with some way to keep weights from bouncing off. Took longer than expected to assemble..2 to 3 hours! All in all, a good bargain for a quality tool.

Purchased this item based on model/serial number of my mower. The product was not the correct one. When I opened the package it was three (3) belts instead of one. Need to return....

I have two gardens. One I have been tilling for years and a new one. I have had nothing but probelms with this tiller since I purchased it. I have a Sears garden tractor 18hp that I am pulling it with. In two years I have broke; tines, shaft and the entire casing that houses the chain that turns the shaft/times. It is two years old and I can't fix it anymore - the motor has maybe 10 hours on it and all this has happened. Stay away from this and get a real plow and disc.

I just purchased these for winter to help with dozing the snow. I put them on last weekend, along with the dozer blade, and thought I would try it all out before the snow got here. The weights were extremely easy to install, and didn't know this before, but you can actually stack two weights on one wheel if needed. I was very satisfied with the quality, and the amount of weight it added to the mower. I'm glad I got them. The weights should be used in conjunction with the tire chains I believe, as I don't think the weights would be enough with just the traction of the tires alone...
