Hi everyone,

My husband just got me this great lawn mower for my birthday. That was the only thing I wanted. And he got it for me. I kept telling him, I really need that key start lawn mower. I couldn't pull the cored on our other mower that we got from sears. So when he put it together and started it, I was like " This is my new toy back up and leave me be." It was so eazy to use ,I love the way it lefts the grass up so you can cut it. Now I have the lawn mowed before he comes home. That way, one more thing is aready done on our weekends chore list. I would recommend the key start lawn mower to any one, especially women who have a hard time pullng the power cord to start it their lawn mower.. Piece of cake now,I hold my head up high cause I can still mower the yard without my husbands help. I give this a five thumbs up !!!!!!!!!!
...

Remington should stick to making shavers. This machine is poorly contructed with lots of plastic parts. The batteries wore out after the first season and now it does not even work with the cord. The 16 inch deck is too narrow for my yard and does a terrible job over-all.

Over priced, flimsy contruction, lasted exactly one and half seasons. I'm not sure if I should try and replace the batteries but have been borrowing my neigbours mower this summer.

Please save yourselves the headaches and stick to a traditioinal mower until they get their act together.
...

I had previously purchased the iWorx weed eater and hedge trimmer, both battery powered. They both work well, and the battery lasts through the work session. So I was pleased to see an electric iWorx lawnmower, and found it at Sears on sale. The deck is narrower, for sure, but the mower in mulch and grass catching modes works well. My one complaint is the grass catching box is difficult to assemble, so much so that I finally taped it together. Now it works. However, the only time I use it is in the fall, when I'm both mowing and picking up leaves. We use the mulching feature the rest of the time, and our grass looks terrific. I don't fertilize or use chemicals on the lawn at all.

I would not buy another mower from Ryobi. It works only for a season and then after that you will need to screw wheels back on and duck tape on the plastic grass catcher bag. This mower is cheap but really only works for about 3 months.
I have used an electric 6.5 amp mower for 10 years. The mower works but a nut on the handle broke and just decided to get a new mower for a bit more kick to it. This thing can go through 16+in grass easy! I had to "rescue" my friend because his mower couldn't mow his almost 2ft high grass. (he was lazy) His mower was a 6.5hp and this did it without breaking a sweat! This thing is awesome! I hope this thing will last at least 10 years like my old mower!...

I was skeptical that an electric mower could work so well. I don't miss any gas power...and certainly don't miss the noise. Being able to go cordless or corded is pretty nice - cuz my neighbor likes to borrow it when he runs out of gas. I say "sure, plug in and go!" Maybe this summer he'll even buy his own....

As with customer from Austin ,TX. My package was damaged.
I needed to tie a string to the key and handle so not to loose it.
For my lack of a single part, the mower comes with two large diameter bolts to assemble the upper handle to the lower handle and two thin diameter bolts to connect the lower handle to the mower. I recieved 3 big bolts and one small bolt.

For the lack of power, I was mulching some leaves and thought the a.c. power would increase the blade speed. I pushed the mower into the pile of leaves and the mower just died, even with boost . In battery mode the mower did a better job of the pile....

I purchased the Remington 60V mower last spring from the Remington online site. It arrived a few weeks later in a very sad state. The shipping box was almost completely destroyed and the only thing holding the box to together were the two nylon straps.

Remington used almost no packing material. The front axle was bent and I had to straighten it in a vise with a sledge hammer.

It worked fine after that but after a few weeks the front axle wouldn't stay in place when lifting the front wheels to make a turn. The plastic grippers were not strong enough and I had to wrap duct tape around the alxe to get them to hold.

After a few months the switch for selecting the operating mode would not stay in the charge position during charging and I have to wedge a screw between the switch and the switch housing to get it to stay there long enough to charge.

The plastic key that must be inserted before starting the mower sometimes jumps (literally) out of the lock and if I don't notice then I must go......
