This feeder works exactly as advertised and is great. Realize it will come with a base attached to the feeder that is not pictured (I don't know why, and it is misleading), but it can easily be taken off as. Other birds (that can't feed upside down) will land on it and eat freely from the bottom holes. Three screws on the bottom are all that's holding the base on. I'm guessing the manufacturer put the base on it so that it stands up by itself when you have to fill it (and not fall over). I've always filled my tube feeders in the kitchen and conveniently if you do remove the base, the tube is a perfect fit to be held in place in the garbage disposal hole.

This is a beautiful Humming Bird Feeder. It is so beautiful that I am placing it in front of the house instead of the back yard.I want to be able to look out my kitchen window and see this wonderful piece of artwork. This Scotts morningsong is top quality bird food. You can tell a top quality bird seed when you open the bag and it smells like a trail mix that you would eat. It attracts all types of birds all through out the year. Buying in bulk saves you money rather then buying multiple small bags....

We purchased this beautifulbird bath for our perennial garden that attracts birds & butterflies. The birds just love the rippling water. They jump on & off the edge of the bowl rim and they seem to be having so much fun. Our family and friends like to watch them from our deck. It is relaxing and fun. I would recommend one for your garden. The price was right and it is a delight to watch. I am an active senior. I like to work in my garden, I sew and knit. I also enjoy reading and computers....

I've had this feeder for a couple of years. The red color faded really bad and it doesn't look that nice anymore. The only problem I've had with leaking is if the base wasn't screwed on right. Other than that it works fine and doesn't leak.

We love Perky Pet products. Our hummies really love the Pinch-Waist 8-oz. glass feeder with the big red tubular Gloxinia flowers with the yellow bee guard centers. We have several of these supurb Perky Pet feeders, plus many other products. So, when Perky Pet came out with this push-pull top feeder with patent pending, we immediately got 2 push-pull models. It sounded like a good idea, but was not a quality product. The flimsy 2-piece plastic base screws together but doesn't mesh well. After finally meshing the base together, it would slightly unscrew itself when the reservoir bottle got screwed into the base. Two of us tried to keep the base from unscrewing apart when screwing in the bottle, filled it with nectar, then tightened the vacuum seal lid to where nothing leaked. We hung out the feeder, pulled up on the reservoir to release the liquid to where there was no dripping, then the breeze came along, the lightweight plastic feeder swayed, and the leaking started up. ...

These fake ruby glass feeder are mass produced in China & have painted interiors that may harm hummingbirds. I had many hummingbirds & I was using an inexpensive clear glass/plastic model but wanted an attractive feeder for pictures. Three months ago I bought two 'ruby' glass feeders. Hummingbirds disappeared, the feeders have now began to fade their red color; the interiors appear to be painted & probably harmful to hummingbirds. These are made in China, but I thought since I purchased them from Fosters & Smith the quality would be good. I now see them for sale all over the internet, (including Kmart, but no longer at Fosters & Smith. Please don't buy these as they may harm these beautiful birds. There are people who will stop at nothing to satisfy their greed. We've already had pets die due to tainted pet food from China. How about some quality control on the part of corporate America!

Bought two of these because it was really cute. Unfortunately they are poorly made. I hung them out and after ONLY 2 weeks, they fell apart. Not just one fell apart, they both did. I would recommend paying a little more for a higher quality and better made bird feeder....

DON'T buy this. It does keep the squirrels out BUT the birds can't figure out how to land on it. They come close and hover then fly away. I've had it for 2 weeks and am returning for a different style.

I bought this lovely birdhouse in March of 2010. It began to fall apart before I had had it for a year and today I found it in pieces on the ground. I have had cute little birdhouses in the past that fell apart. The reason I bought this one from KMart was that it specifically said, and I quote from the description here on the website: "Solid wood construction will last for years to come."

This is a great bird feeder and what a fantastic price. I got it to replace one that I'd had for a number of years and had broken. Its wonderful for smaller birds expecially. I occasionally get a few medium sized birds- like redbellied wood ******* and cardinals, but mostly chicadees and the like. Yes, since its hanging from the eaves they are close enough that with a book I can identify them. I'm thinking of getting one of the larger ones to attract larger birds.

This was the first time I had used K-Marts order online and pick up in the store service (My Gofer?) something like that. Well it went very very well. We got the e-mail that it was ready probably within an hour after we put in the order. When I went to the store I went to customer service and it was ready. I mean it was already there at the customer service desk, they checked it through and I was done in minutes- micro minutes! Awesome job, better time than ************ was, or Sears, or ******** is.

The Effortless Birdfeeder has a very functional design; it is easy to maintain and keeps unwanted guests (e.g., squirrels) out providing that you place it in an open area. It was relatively easy to assemble; I inserted a rubber stopper over the end of the pole that is placed into the base of the feeder so that the undersurface (patio) won't be scratched if I move the feeder. Also, I bought a bag of Tubesand to use to fill the base and put the leftover portion of the sand bag in the back of my truck. You could conceivably drape bags of sand over the base of the feeder for extra stability. Birds began coming to the feeder within 30 minutes of setup; I used black sunflower seeds. Squirrels appear to be content to stay around the base to feed on the droppings; I have not seen any try to climb up the pole. We just had a winter storm and the feeder did not fall over even with the 40 mph winds; that was impressive.

When I bought mine it came in red and is now over ten years old.

Over time I have owned countless birdfeeders and fought off numerous squirrels with varying degrees of success. This Heritage Farms bird feeder is entirely made of metal except for the windows showing the seed. It hangs from a strong metal handle with a small "crimp" centered so it seats centered for leveling. The lid has a squeeze together release and pivots open to fill. Closing the lid consists of lowering the lid until it locks in place. I have owned many feeders where squirrels would cut the hanger or lift the lid to spill the contents onto the ground but this unit locks to prevent that.

Each long side of the feeder has multiple windows and feeding dugouts so many birds can be on both sides feeding at a time. Birds stand onto a 3/8? dowel rod on each long side. Many times I have a squirrel hanging upside down feeding on one side and birds coming and going on the other. The whole feeder holds a great amount of feed so...

i bought this bird food a couple of weeks ago and all the birds love this bird food the most. i go through the whole bag too quickly. in my own opinion i like the fact that i go through the bird food too quickly because that means that i'm doing my job right by buying the right food for the birds.

i've seen so many morning birds now that i have boughten this bird food. i recommend this product to all those bird lovers out there. i also like the fact that this is a 40 pound bag of bird food and it's not expensive.
