I bought a couple of these Jaclyn Smith plant stands at Kmart a couple of years ago. They we're on sale for a very good price and I had previously bought the Jaclyn Smith copper planters, copper lanterns, candles and the bird bath that goes with the stand. I really love everything that is included with this set and wish Kmart would bring it back! The stand seems to be very sturdy and the Jaclyn Smith copper planter looks great sitting on it! I love the flower designs that are on the stand as they match the copper candle holders. I honestly wish I would have bought a couple more of these stands when they were on clearance after the season. They look really nice and I would recommend them....

I started out buying one of these plant hangers and liked it so much that I bought 3 more. They look really good on the deck. I also bought some of the smaller ones that only hold one plant and they look great sitting next to each other. I hung a hanging flower pot from the top loop and put a regular clay pot in the bottom and it looks really full. Storing these in the winter is also really nice because they fold up flat and can be stacked on one another. They clean up very nice also. All i do is hose them off. Sometimes dirt will get caught in the detailed work on the top and a rag is needed to clean it out. The only real complaint I have is that the decorative marble sometimes fall out of the wiring. Overall I would say this is a pretty great plant stand....

Country Living Ceramic Top, side table with solid rod iron around the tile & legs. Is a very cozy little table for my mothers front porch. I was looking for something to sit next to a chair (for a senior citizen), that wouldn't fall over easily. I think it is just perfect for her hot cup tea, cold drinks or small snacks. Thanks Sears for supplying a table I could afford, of such a great quality. Thumbs up Sears.
...

This planter is a classic design that works well with a multitude of furniture styles and home decor. One could use it outside in the spring/summer and then move it indoors in the fall/winter. It has ample room to hold a large to medium size plant or an array of flowers. There is a plastic liner which is also nice if you are using flower pots without the saucers. One might also want to use artificial flower arrangements in this planter as well. It is sturdy, well made and I would say the material it is made from is weather resistant.

I got a great deal at Sears. They matched the price of another store. So I was very happy with my purchase....

I have shopped at kmart for many years, however when they offered the online purchase and pick up at the store I was hopeful that the procedure would go smoothly. It did. There was some confusion at first, because at that time there weren't very many purchases like mine. They found my items, I purchased them right there at pick up which saved me having to stand in line. I was in and out of the store in less than 15 minutes and I appreciated that.

I will shop this way again with kmart for the made it quick and painless. The items are very nice, I found them in catalogs and on line, but they are priced higher. I prefer to give my business to my local merchants. I can't wait to display my plants in these hangers. They are going to look very nice on my deck.
...

JoeyJingles says "Raised plant holder eliminates wood rot underneath" about Black Metal Plant Stand 16 inches

The first decade I grew potted plants they sat on the deck or handrail surface and eventually the wood underneath rotted because of constant dampness. These raised plant holders are one beautiful answer to that problem.

Once I bought my first metal plant stand and started using it I bought more. These stands are a great help to watering results because they do not create rot underneath and let the watered area breathe and dry. In addition the raised drainage hole creates a "breathing" effect for the roots making them stronger. This one is 16 inches high or roughly to your knee off the ground. We bought others as well at differing heights to create a walled display area.

The stands will hold a great amount of weight. I am 240 pounds and I regularly stand on them to change lightbulbs and such. The scroll design is beautiful on its own and lends victorian appeal to lifted planters. The only drawback is they can become top heavy when tall items are on them during a windstorm. Prepare yourself...
...

JoeyJingles says "Top shelf performance at a reasonable price" about Corona Bypass Pruner

There came a time in my early landscaping when I decided to grow prize winning roses and that is when pruning shears entered my world.

There are just so many uses for a pruning and bypass shear in your landscape. I started using them to harvest from my flower garden the scents and flower displays for my dining table. As I grew in knowledge I used them to trim tree braches as needed. Now I use them almost constantly. I am on my fourth pair of these Carona's. I bought my first pair in a set which had a belt holster and each new shear has used that pouch and it is extremely convenient.

New the shears are frighteningly sharp. Be very care to keep fingers away from the blades. The shears will open to cut 3/4 inch diameters which covers a lot of work. Anything larger I cut with my bucksaw and those two pieces handle all my maintenance and harvest duties. The handle is nice and has a pleasant contour for holding without it turning in your hand and there is a pivoting latch that will lock them...
...

EarthBoxesRock says "Best Patio Garden container EVER!!" about EarthBox Garden Kit Terra Cotta

This is my second year using my 2 earth boxes (with trellises) and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. I planted seedings (from the same seeds) this year in a garden bed, my earth boxes and other containers... and the Earth Boxes won HANDS DOWN. Tons of veggies with minimal care, organic fertilizer (I purchased at my local nursery), and huge, thriving plants. And if you need to rotate to compensate for uneven growth (toward sun), just unlock the casters, twirl around and there you go!

By planting lettuce and sugar snaps in the early spring, then cukes and tomatoes, now basil and peppers, I have grown 90% of all my vegetable needs on my patio... and given "overages" to my neighbors. In the fall, one more round of lettuce and sugar snaps before the first freeze.

I bought terra cotta to match my brick walkway, but green is also available at Sears. Hopefully, they will include "stone" soon (which is presently produced), which would look great on concrete or light pavers.

You will not be sorry if you...
...
